Nidhi's POVEven though the food which was served looked delicious,  I had no appetite and lost it completely when I heard him saying,this is the signature dish of this restaurant and Nandini loved it...I felt suffocated and wanted to leave the place immediately.. but I cannot.. I can't even show my anger to him. What if gets annoyed and what  if he feels I am jealous of Nandini..I was gulping my tears back.."what happened Nidhi didn't you like the food?? you have hardly eaten ??""ummm, Food is good, but as I am tired I lost my appetite , that's it", I lied."ok, I will pack something  so that you can eat back home", he said in concern.."No Kabir, I cannot eat, I just need some sleep.. "He sighed and quickly finished his dinner..When we were walking out ,I received a call from Sanjana..My face lit up when I saw her name.."Hey Sanju, How are you dear??""Nidhi are you alright??", she asked.."Yeah absolutely Sanju, I am happy..""But why do I feel something is wrong with your voice?", She asked..She is  my bestie for nothing.. She knew me so well.."missing you Sanju", I replied."Ok then ,if you are free, let's meet tomorrow at our regular coffee shop and we will go out for lunch from there. What do you say??I looked at Kabir before answering her.."I will let you know in a few minutes Sanju, I will call you back..", I replied and disconnected the call..After sitting in the car," He asked," Who is she??""Ummm, that's Sanjana, my best friend.. she is asking me for lunch tomorrow, if you don't mind can I go with her?" I asked.."Nidhi ,you need not ask me to go out with your friend. Just because we are married. I will not stop you from your personal freedom.in fact I have a meeting to attend tomorrow, so if you want I can drop you " he replied. I felt relieved and said " thank you"I quickly called back Sanjana to say that our plan is on.. will meet at a coffee shop by 11:00 Am tomorrow..After disconnecting her call, I don't know why I felt lonely, I didn't want to see nor talk to Kabir.. my mind and heart were in a mess.. "Nidhi ,just because he is good to you for these two days, it doesn't mean he forgot Nandini completely", I was trying to calm myself down.. but still there was pain in my heart.."I didn't want him to observe that something is wrong with me.so I closed my eyes all the way back home..Looking at me , closing my eyes , he didn't talk..When we reached home, he took our shopping covers from my hand and asked the maid to bring them up.."Put them in Avani's room", I told the maid.She nodded and we walked inside..I straight away went to Avani's room and organised the clothes I bought for her neatly and placed remaining covers in the empty space in her wardrobe..I walked inside my room and an empty room welcomed me..Looks like he went to study.. I took a deep breath and walked towards the bathroom to take a shower to calm down myself .I didn't see him when I returned back..I laid on the bed and when I was about to close my eyes ,I saw him entering with a glass of milk.."Nidhi, you didn't eat anything , drink some milk before you go to bed. it's not good for your health if you go to bed empty stomach.."He stretched his hand to give  the glass to me..I didn't have the heart to deny him, so I took it and said thank you..He sat on the bed , tilted his head towards me and asked," are you alright Nidhi?, You look low".."I am just a little tired Kabir, that's it.  I will be better by tomorrow morning", I replied without looking into his eyes..He stared at me for a while, moved near me ,stroked my hair and said " Sleep"..********Nidhi's POVNext day, when I woke up he was already awake..looks like he took shower just now.. He was getting ready to go out.."Good morning", he wished..I said Morning with a smile on  my lips.After breakfast, he said," Nidhi I have some urgent work at the office , I can't  drop you to your friend , I will ask the driver to take you there, please don't mind..""It's ok , you carry on. I will go by myself..", I replied. He nodded and left the house..I sighed and sat on the couch..I didn't understand whether I should feel happy for him being friendly with me or to feel  sad for comparing me with Nandini.."Whatever, he is at least trying to be with me", I thought..When I was in my thoughts I received a call from Sanjana." Hey stupid, did you start??", she asked.."Starting now ", I replied, took my bag and came out..I was not in a mood to drive so asked the driver to take me to the location..When I entered  the coffee shop , I saw Sanjana already waiting for me..I saw her after many days, I missed her..I hugged her tightly and said ," I missed you a hundred times when I was  shopping yesterday, I can select clothes for everyone except myself.. without you I can't shop for myself Sanju.."She patted my back and said, " So you remember me only when you go shopping?? ""Hey sorry it's not like that.." "By the way, why shopping suddenly, I think you have already bought a mall for your wedding.."I hit her playfully and said, " Kabir took me to shopping yesterday"Sanjana was drinking water when I was speaking and she choked when she heard my sentence.."Seriously ,Nidhi.  OMG!!! ,he took you shopping.. which means your relationship is improving..aaahhhhhhhh, Nidhi I am so happy for you.. ",She almost shouted and we even gathered strange looks from the people around us.We ignored them  and continued our conversation..She leaned forward towards me and  whispered," Did you guys do that?? " She winked.."Shut up Sanju", I blushed.."Offo!!! My Nidhi even knew  how to blush.. ",Sanju teased.."Stop teasing Sanju, nothing sought of that happened.. We are just friends now.", I replied.."Hmmm",Sanju said in a disappointed tone."put me aside,how about you and Aditya ?? When are you planning your wedding?? I asked eagerly."Hmmmm, wedding I think it will take time, his grandma is not agreeing?? ",she said in a disappointing tone."Why??", I asked in surprise.."oh!! Nidhi a lot had happened when you were busy with Kabir's family issues.".She explained everything that happened between Her and grandma and how she met Aditya's aunt.."And Tomorrow is Aditya's sister's wedding", she said..So you are going??."of course I have to" ,she replied..We chatted for sometime, and from there walked towards the nearby restaurant for lunch..When we were having our lunch, my mobile rang..Smile appeared on my lips when I saw the name on my mobile.."Is it Kabir??", Sanjana raised her eyebrow.."How do you know??""Look at you, how much are you blushing??So it's obvious it must be him..""Stop teasing Sanju" , I said and answered his call.."Hey Nidhi, I am going back home, where are you??  share your location ,I will pick you up.""Ok, did you eat??", I asked in concern.."Yeah, with the clients,",. he replied.."Ok, I will share with you the location.",. I replied and disconnected..After half an hour , I saw him entering the restaurant..  I was sitting facing towards the door so I saw him as soon as he entered..I waved at him so that he could spot me easily.He walked with a smile on his face and sat beside me.."Kabir, this is my  best friend Sanjana" , I introduced..They greeted each other.."You look adorable with each other,  Can I have a pic of yours together", Sanjana asked.I glared at her but she ignored me and looked towards Kabir."Of course ,why not!!", '' Kabir replied.."Nidhi, move a little closer to your husband", Sanjana wantedly stressed the word husband. I moved a little closer to him and he immediately put his hands on my shoulder..I was surprised and looked at him.."Nidhi, look here", Sanjana said. I looked towards Sanjana and a smile appeared on my lips.."perfect, thank you".. I will send these pics to you", Sanjana immediately sent pics to me..I had an urge to see them immediately, so I said, "Excuse me, I will go to the washroom"
