Nidhi's POVI felt  tired standing there for a long time , so I turned around to walk inside my bedroom.. but  I saw him standing behind me folding his hands and leaning against the doorframe of the room connecting the bedroom and balcony..There were tears in my eyes .. I ignored him and walked past him but  stood rooted when  I heard my name.." Nidhi , can I talk to you for a while??", he asked.I didn't turn around and he said, "please let's sit on the balcony."I turned around and sat on the chair opposite to him..My head was hung low and I could feel his stare on me..when I got ready for him, he didn't look at me and  now when I am in mess he is staring me, "stupid" I cursed him inwardly..I didn't dare to look into his eyes. If I, he will know I cried and I don't want to look weak in front of him.He pulled his chair near to me and said,"Nidhi why didn't you confront me for not treating you like my wife??"I looked into his eyes and said, " because that was the least thing I expected from you"He was surprised to hear me, " then why did you agree to marry me??"What if I say I have been loving you since the day we have become neighbours..?? There was surprise in his eyes.. ***** Kabir's POV*****I was dumbfounded when I heard her.She has been loving me for so long and I didn't even notice..Then why didn't you tell me???"I was not daring enough to come in front of you but when you left for the U.S ,I decided I will propose to you the day you come back, but I  heard from your mom that you are already in love with Nandini.. I buried all the love for you in my heart the day you married Nandini.. I thought your happinesses is mine." There was pain in her voiceI was completely lost when I heard her..******Nidhi's POVI didn't know what was on my mind, I blurted out that I love him.. I felt awkward when I realised it.. I wanted to dig a hole and hide inside..He was shocked to hear me.. before he could come out of the shock I thought I should leave..So I quickly got up to leave from there but I felt his strong hand on mine..My heart was pounding in my ribcage. His touch made me numb..I lost all my senses.He stood up and looked into my eyes..I could feel pain in his eyes and his eyes wanted to tell me alot..I was lost in his eyes..."What if I say I couldn't love you in return???", He said..I felt like my heart stopped beating.. tears filled my eyes and they were ready to flow down.."I will wait for the day you fall in love with me..""How many years??", He asked."Till my last breath ", I replied and ran out of the room..I was holding my tears for long... so as  to release them I ran towards the bathroom and locked myself...I crouched down, put my head in between my legs  and started crying..I didn't want him to listen to me so I opened the tap..The flood of tears  I was stopping back in my heart all these days flowed like water from  the tap..***** Kabir's POV****When I came back to my senses after hearing her,  I realised she ran towards the bathroom..I ran after her and heard water flow from the tap.. In between I also heard her crying.. My heart started aching for her..  What did I give the girl who has been loving  me all these years??only pain.."I am sorry Nidhi , I am sorry for not seeing love in your eyes for all these years.. I said to myselfI stood outside the bathroom door waiting for her..When she opened the door, I saw her eyes were red and swollen and hair was in a mess...She ignored me and tried to walk past me.I held her hand to  stop her. She didn't turn back but stood rooted..I walked towards her , cupped her face and said," Nidhi, I am sorry  for not realising  your love, but just because you love me I can't immediately love you back and I can't forget Nandini in one go..I need time to completely accept you.. Hope you understand.. "..She nodded in agreement.."Till then  we  can be good friends, if you don't mind.."She was surprised to hear me and tears started flowing down her cheeks..I wiped them with my thumb and said, " I promise to spend more time with you so that I can get to know you more" ..A beautiful smile appeared on her lips..this is the first time I saw her that close.. She has big  beautiful  black eyes with well shaped eyebrows and the smile on her lips  was enough to kill anyone..She nodded and walked towards the couch to sleep.."I don't mind if you sleep on the other corner of the bed..Couch will not be comfortable to sleep for long.. "She was still in shock when she heard me..********Nidhi's POVAm I dreaming, what happened to this guy ?? Is he really taking a step to take  our relationship forward..his snap brought me back into my senses.I heard him saying, "Sleep on the bed.."I took my quilt and slept on the other corner of the bed..I remembered what he said to me just now, is he really gonna spend time with me??My heart felt content after hearing him and wait!!! Am I sleeping with him on his bed? I hope I am not dreaming ,even if it is a dream ,god please don't break it. I said to myself  and slept peacefully after a long time.*******Kabir's POVShe is really a simple girl who searches for happiness in little things..  She is just like Nandini..When I said, I will try to spend some time with her, she was happy and her face glowed.. Being the only daughter of a rich dad , she is not a spoiled princess.This one quality of her made me like her..********Nidhi's POVNext morning ,when I woke up, I saw Kabir still sleeping..I took a quick bath and went to the Puja room to thank God for making Kabir change his mind..later I went to the kitchen to prepare breakfast for him..When I came out , I saw Kabir coming out in Jeans and T-shirt.. Which means he is not going to the office today and as promised he will work from home and spend time with me..I felt butterflies flying  in my stomach and a smile appeared on my lips...He said good morning and sat on the dining table.. I  smiled and replied to him in  return and served him breakfast..I made poori and Chole masala for breakfast..He took a bite and said," I didn't know you were  such a wonderful cook.. When did you learn to cook??"Oh!!!It's because of my grandma, she always says "the way to man's heart is through his stomach " and made me learn cooking when I completed my schooling..I realised what I just blurted out  and bit my tongue. He observed me and said with a smile on his lips, " Well ,your grandma is indeed correct"..I blushed when I heard him..****
