Aditya's POVWeek  passed in a blink of an eye..  Everyday after dinner, I was talking to Sanjana  on the phone for hours at night. ..I was really enjoying my love life...As today was Sunday, I was sitting leisurely in the living room watching T.V..." Adi bro, I am backkk", I heard my devils voice breaking my eardrums..that was Kriti ,my cousin.. She is a tall girl with sharp features.My face bloomed  with joy when I heard her.. She came running to me and gave me a hug.. I was seeing my little devil after almost 6 months...Soon grandma and Meera maa entered.. I was very attached to Meera maa when I was kid.She didn't marry and adopted a girl to fight  her loneliness, and the girl is Kriti...She is 6 years younger than me.. She was not much into studies, she finished her schooling  with a great difficulty and we didn't force her much.. Meera maa adopted  her when she was 4 months old and took care of her like her own daughter.. Because of her cuteness and activeness she became the apple  of the whole family..We never treated her like an outsider.. She became  part of our  family and the most lovable child.. Even grandma loves her more than me..Meera maa lived with us for a few years, but later she moved back to village as  she feels Villages are much more peaceful than cities.Even Kriti was happy to be away from this competitive world.. I went to greet Meera maa and hugged her.. "Oh my son!!, I didn't see  you all these days..  how are you beta??She asked.."I am good, Meera maa... "I even went to greet my grandma, as if I didn't know what she did behind my back..She was happy to see me behaving normally..Soon mom and dad came out to  welcome everyone.. During lunch, Meera maa announced that," Few days back, we got an alliance for Kriti, He is the grandson of the local leader Mr Kalyan  of our village.. He is well educated and manages business in the city.. They saw Kriti and immediately agreed to marry her..Aditya and Vinod bro, what do you say?? Dad said, " I know Kalyan and his family well, I feel it's a good match"..Meera ma looked at me for my  response..I smiled and said," Meera ma, don't you think it's too early for her to get married?""Do you think your sister is a small kid?",my grandma questioned me back.."Of course my Kriti is always a child for me..Anyways, Meera maa, send the details of that guy I will enquire about and moreover I have to  speak  to Kriti first before I give my opinion...Kriti meet me after lunch in my study"Everyone sighed when they heard me and I know without my consent they will not consider that guy for Kriti's marriage..After lunch I went straight back to my study and Kriti followed me..I asked her to sit on one chair, dragged my chair near to her, took her hands in mine and asked,"Kriti, are you ready for this marriage?, Did you like that guy, let me know if you have any problem with the wedding, I will not allow them to marry you forcefully.."She smiled and said," Bro, I understand your concern, I am happy with this marriage.. I saw him and spoke to him too, he seems to be good .. don't worry".I felt better after listening to her..I stroked her hair, and said, "ok ,let me check this guy ,if he comes out clean, get ready to become a bride.."She blushed and said "thank you bro.."I kissed  her forehead and said, "anything for you my sweet sister.."Very soon I received Photo and details of the guy Meera maa was talking about..His name is  Hardik, did his M.B.A from IIM and manages his family business.. His profile looked good..I called my assistant and said, " I have sent you the details of a person, I want complete details about him, including girlfriends and breakups if any.."I sighed and said to myself, hope he comes out clean, Kriti really likes him.. During dinner I said to everyone that I have sent someone to enquire about him, so give me a day to get complete information..Everyone agreed...Next day, I went to the office as usual..In the afternoon, when I was working, I heard a knock on my door.. It was my assistant.."sir, I have enquired about the person, All the details which were given are correct.. His business turnover is also good, he is not involved in any kind of scandals with his employees.He is a nice guy..""Good ,any girl friends in college??", I asked."Yes sir, there was one girl whom he loved in college, but after 2 years they got separated ...girls parents were against inter caste marriage...that girl is married now and they are not been in contact since then.."I was satisfied with the report my assistant gave me and asked him to leave.. " I thought for a few minutes and called Sanjana to come to my room..When she entered I saw her wearing white colour churidar, she looked like an angel..When she entered ,she was serious, because during working hours I rarely talk to her..She said, " Aditya, is there something you have called me for?".. I smiled at her  and said, " Sanjana, I have a request ""Yes Aadi ,tell me what it is??"I sighed  and said, Sanjana, you leave the company for a few days ,you can work from home, but to everyone in the office , it should look like you resigned and  tell your colleagues that you have applied for resignation long back  and it got approved today.. anyways I  already have  your resignation letter in my mail..Spread the news in the office that after a long time of struggle ,your resignation has been accepted.."She looked stunned when she heard me.. Sanjana, "don't worry ,I have my plans ,just follow my orders, you will get to know slowly why I am doing all these, your salary will be credited directly from my personal  account.  so officially you left the company"She looked confused and asked me what's all this??and what about the lawyer ,he knew everything?? she asked..Don't worry he is my man, so rest assured.. I replied..I walked towards her, put her hair strands behind her ears ,cupped her face and said, " don't worry, even  if you don't get a call from me  frequently, I will call you when I am free and alone.. "..She looked scared when she heard me..I gave a peck on her forehead and asked ," Do you trust me??""more than myself", she replied.."So just do what I say and one more thing  involve Rekha aunty into thisTell her whatever I told you just now.."..She nodded and left..I came to my desk, called the HR department to relieve her and took out the paper  contract that she signed that day, tore into pieces and flushed it..Soon the news spread in the office that Sanjana is relieved..I saw her packing her box and getting ready to get relieved. My heart ached when I saw her, I am sorry Sanjana, but this is all for our own benefit. Forgive me for a few days , then everything will be alright...**************Author's POVWhen Mrs Mehta( Aditya's grandma ) returned back ,she enquired about Sanjana..She called a person who is very loyal to her, his name is Kiran..He is her relative, and when he was in  Search of a job,  she recommended Vinod for his job..and that is how Kiran joined the company..She called him earlier this week to find out if Sanjana is still working there...  He made few friends in the HR department, from them he came to know that Sanjana applied for resignation, and it was sent to Aditya for his approval..He said he didn't know what happened later , because it's impossible to know what is happening in the CEO' s office.Today, as soon as he came to know that Sanjana left the company ,he immediately called her to give the information..She felt satisfied when she heard about Sanjana's Resignation..She thought, very soon she will find a girl for Aditya..*******Aditya returned home in the evening.. Everyone was eagerly waiting for his findings on Hardik..He called Everyone into the living room and said, " I have found out about Hardik, he is good and has come out clean.So , we can start making preparations for Kriti's wedding.."Everyone was holding their breath till Aditya finished his last word...There was happiness in everyone's hearts and Kriti started blushing too.."Ok then , I will call Hardik's family to tell us it's yes."  Meera said..everyone nodded and she immediately called them..She spoke for a while , came back and said, "Hardik's mom wanted me to go to the priest and find the auspicious time for engagement and wedding..Sis-in-law, which priest do you suggest?? Meera asked..""I know one priest in a temple who is well known  for  taking auspicious times for marriages..I will ask the  driver to take you to that temple.".Mamta  replied.."Mamta,why don't you go along with Meera?? "Vinod asked"I have to cook in the kitchen tomorrow, and by the time I finish , the priest will leave the temple.We can find him only in the early mornings.,".Mamta replied. "It's ok, I can manage my brother, don't worry, It will be late by the time we come back, and as mom is a sugar patient, she has to eat early on time.. so I could manage to go alone.. just send a driver with me", Meera replied..Vinod nodded and everyone left to their respective rooms..During dinner ,the entire house was cheerful because of Kriti's continuous blabbering..They had a good family time..After dinner , Everyone left for their respective rooms..When Aditya reached his room, he worked for a while and took out his phone to call Sanjana.. But he felt there was a shadow near His door. He knew who it was. it must be Grandma, she must be here to check whether he is talking to her on the phone..He wanted to play along so he  turned off the light.. as an indication of him going to sleep..He opened his WhatsApp and messaged Sanjana.." Sanju, did you sleep??"she immediately called him back.."Can't talk to you, just keep messaging.."" Adi, I am not getting what you are doing??""You will understand slowly baby..""I don't understand your riddles..""After a few days you will understand everything.. it's already very late, I will call you tomorrow from the office. ""Go to sleep now..""ok, good night", sanjana texted back"Love you sweetheart,good night .."" Love you too…"
