Riya looked into Ashish's eyes,she could feel  love for her in his eyes.Her heart started pounding heavily..She didn't expect this.. She was happy and equally surprised. She felt as if she was dreaming and  tears welled up in her eyes.." Hey , why are you crying??"Will it be possible between us?? she asked  slowly..Why do you think it's not possible??"  On your dad's birthday I overheard someone saying  your mom has selected a girl named Myra who is your childhood friend as a bride for you.. And moreover  you were giggling with her that day", She Twisted her mouth and rolled her eyes...." You look very cute when you are jealous"" I am not jealous", she  rolled her eyes to the other side..He chuckled looking at her childish behaviour.." Riya, Myra is my childhood friend and my parents thought we can make make a great couple, but for me she is just a friend and I never had any feelings for her and I made this point clear to my parents too.. initially they were disappointed but they didn't force me as they know feelings can't be forced. "Really?? she asked like a child who was told by her parents that they will buy her a chocolate.. there was joy in her tone.But the next second , her smile disappeared,she asked," But there is a huge  financial  gap between your family and my family. Will your family accept a girl like me who comes from a poor family background?." "My mom too belonged to a middle class family when my father married her. Financial gap will never be a problem in our relationship..", Ashish replied patiently..Riya felt relieved when she heard him..And when she was about to ask another question, he said," I feel like I am attending an interview for your husband's post. I think my HR team didn't ask you these many questions when they selected you as an intern.Riya smiled in response Ashish walked closer to her looking at her eyes and lips.  When his lips were just centimetres away from her she pushed him back with a chuckle and said, " kiss,only after marriage".he pulled her into his arms  making her lips quiver. she closed her eyes tightly and waited for him to kiss her ,but to her surprise,he didn't..when she opened her eyes she saw him smiling..She pushed him back and walked towards the balcony and stood there inhaling fresh air. she was blushing and smiling.Ashish followed her and stood beside her and  pulled  her closer to him by her waist..His touch made her whole body quiver. She gulped her saliva and looked at him with her cute innocent eyes making Ashish want her even more.but he controlled himself.. He didn't want  to force her, not even for a kiss..He stroked her hair, and said," you must be tired. go to sleep.. I will leave now"Riya held his hand tightly and nodded her head as no.." please wait for some more time"If I wait for some more time ,it will be difficult for me to control myself.. I may kiss you.. you want it?? he asked seductively.." Riya blushed and  immediately left  his hand".Ashish chuckled, took her hand ,kissed on her knuckles and said," Good night my love"When he was about to go his mobile rang.. it was from Anika.." where are you?? Are you coming home??"He wanted to share the news with Anika , he said," on the way"He turned around, looked into Riya's eyes and said," I have to go.. will meet you in office tomorrow"Riya nodded and Ashish left her flat reluctantly..*****Anika was waiting for Ashish in their living room..When he entered he checked for  his parents.." don't worry , they left long back.. they might be sleeping", Anika replied Ashish took a deep breath, sat beside Anika with a slightly bending posture and  with  hands on his thigh.. He looked at Anika and said," I confessed my feelings to her"Anika almost screamed when she heard him.. he quickly closed her mouth afraid of waking up their parents..OMG!! Did she agree?? she asked with excitement.."hmmm, she did", he replied with a smile..I am so happy ,you chose the right girl Bro..  She hugged him to congratulate him and jumped like a child.Next day, when Ashish ,Anika and their parents were having breakfast.. Anika cleared her throat and said,'' Mom, dad, I have something important to announce"Ashish glared at her saying No, he wanted to spend more time with Riya before getting married but if the news leaks he is afraid his parents will be after him for marriage..Anika ignored his glare and said," Mom, dad, Ashish has chosen a girl.. her name is Riya.. she works in our office.. I too met her and I feel she is a good choice for him",she said in one go..Their mom and dad were surprised and looked at each other..earlier, when Ashish was with girls it was Anika who used to scold him but this time she is supporting him.. It really means the girl is special..Both of them looked at Ashish asking him for his confirmation..He nodded his head as  true confirming Anika's words.."What a news you gave us early in the morning!!! I feel I am filled with happiness and there is no room for breakfast now ..", their father was delighted. They really want to see their kids married.but recently Ashish has been rejecting the girls they have selected..Both brother and sister created trouble for their parents in selecting life partners for themselves.. His father was so happy that he didn't even ask the girl's details  and said ok to the marriage..On the other hand, Anika's mother looked at three of them seriously and said," I want to test the girl, if she passes the test,she will become the daughter in-law of my family, otherwise no".."But mom", Anika interrupted..I have certain requirements for my daughter in law, and I want to see whether this girl possesses them or not.. this weekend we are planning a Puja at home. invite her. I will test there and none of you are supposed to alert her about my test. I want to see the true self of that girl"..the three family members looked into each Other's eyes signalling, " what happened to  mom now?? Why is she behaving like this?? but none of them dared to go against her.Actually even Mrs Hooda is also happy that her son has selected a girl for himself but she wanted a girl for him who can handle the house like her.. She  in fact  was looking for her own replica in the future wife of her son..She wanted a girl  who is educated ,calm and composed  and the one  who respects Indian culture and follows the traditions.. she wanted these traditions to be passed over to the future generations.. ******Anika called Riya to her cabin and invited her casually saying," we are organising a Puja at our house this  weekend.. if you are free please join us""How can I say no to Pooja mam, I will definitely come.  thanks for inviting.."Riya didn't know that his family knew about her relationship with Ashish..even Anika didn't give her any clue..****Soon it was the day of Puja at Ashish's home and Riya got down from the taxi in red  saree with red bangles in her hands  and red  bindi on her forehead..she tied her hair in a braid and put Jasmine flowers in them.. she was giving a complete Indian women vibration..She slowly entered the villa which was decorated beautifully with marigold flowers and Mango leaves all over.. the house was emitting festive vibration..Anika and Ashish who were looking at the arrangements looked at Riya at the same time and a smile appeared on their lips..Anika kicked Ashish little with her elbow and said," Riya's  25 marks are secured from mom  for her attire "How do you know??, he asked .."Look at mom's saree"He was surprised to see that even his mom was wearing a red saree with a handful of bangles and hair full of flowers. "If Riya stands beside mom, Everyone will say Riya is her daughter not me", Anika chuckled.Riya walked towards Anika with a smile on her face.. Seeing the three talking, Anika's mom walked towards them and Anika introduced Riya to her.Riya quickly bent and touched her feet to seek blessings..Ashish was impressed by her behaviour..She observed her from top to bottom and said," you look so beautiful in this saree dear"She was impressed by the way Riya  draped her saree.. and most importantly she immediately liked her innocent cute face..
