Ashish reached the office and didn't see Riya at her place.. " Didn't Riya come to office today??", He asked his secretary while sitting on his chair." Sir, Riya came  an hour before to meet you, as you  were not there she told me that her father is sick and is hospitalised with brain haemorrhage and she needs leave for a few days. "After  his secretary  completed his last sentence there was a knock on Ashish's cabin door.It was the head from the Accounts section.." sir,Riya has come to me asking for a loan of 1 million.. I told her I cannot approve that amount without your permission.. She is a very good girl sir, if you can consider her it will be needful", The head was elderly person and had a soft corner for Riya.." Ashish got up from his seat and checked his phone , it was dead..He immediately put it in charge and called Riya from his landline.. Riya who was on the journey was not in a mood to talk to unknown persons at this time. As the number was new for her ,she simply ignored it..Check the home town of Riya in her bio data and let me know quickly,he ordered his assistant..Within a few minutes the result was in front of him.. He immediately said to try to contact all the hospitals of this town and enquire about Riya's father whose name  is in her biodata form..His assistant nodded and left..He felt restless when he heard about Riya.. He knew her financial condition ,she might be worried. I should help her at any cost..He impatiently removed his phone from the charger which is little charged now and called her again, but it said " Out of coverage area".. He guessed it's because she didn't have a signal during the trip..*****On the other hand, when Riya finally arrived in her hometown,she took an auto and rushed to the hospital her mom mentioned. She quickly walked towards the floor where her father was admitted and saw her mother  facing her back and talking to a person .. He was their neighbour  Raghu  whose wife died a few years ago and has two children of almost Riya's age but whenever he sees Riya he tries to flirt with her and makes her feel uncomfortable.."What is he doing here?? ",she thought and slowly walked towards them Both of them didn't observe Riya and she overheard him  saying ," Look sister  , I am giving you a wonderful opportunity.. I will bear the whole hospital expenses, just give me Riya in exchange , I want to marry her"Her mother was fuming with anger," To treat my husband's illness I will never sell my daughter.. even if my husband is treated with such money, he will prefer death rather than selling his daughter, just go away and don't pester us again".." Then  can you bear to see your husband die in front of your eyes? who will give you such a huge amount??", he smirked and saw Riya standing in the distance..He Walked in front of her and said," your mother is uneducated but you are intelligent enough to know your financial condition.. I still have my offer open for you.. you can knock my door any time", He looked at her with lust in his eyes .She felt uncomfortable and walked past him towards her mother without replying to him  and saw her father through the ICU  glass door.Her mother hugged Riya and cried like a child describing her father's condition..Even she had tears in her eyes seeing her father lying on the bed with tubes all over him..She patted her mother on her back and said,"  mom, I am here now, don't worry.. I will figure out something.. dad will be alright"..She said that to give courage to her mother but deep down she is worried about the arrangement of money..She got to know from the doctor that he has to have an operation before tomorrow afternoon, otherwise his life will be in danger..She called all her relatives in the hope of getting some loan from them.. Few of them denied saying they don't have that much amount and others denied saying, how will you repay if you get married ?? Will your in-laws allow you to clear the debt?? Sorry we can't help you..For the first time in her life she regretted being a girl.. If she  would have been a boy,maybe her relatives' perception would have been different..She felt so helpless and sat in the corner of the hospital and cried her heart out before going to her mother..It was dark outside and stars were twinkling in the sky..Riya walked out, bought some food for herself and her mother and made her mother eat so that she can have energy to take care of her father.."Mom, I am going out to arrange money, I will be back soon.. so don't worry about me.. "" But, where will you go, Riya??"you will get to know soon..She soon took a taxi and reached a huge house and gave a knock on the door..The maid opened the door and looked at her puzzled, asking,"  for Whom does she have come for??""Hey, Riya, I was waiting for you.. come in.. " , she heard a voice from the living room.She walked past the maid, stood in front of Raghu  who was sitting on the couch wearing a  smile on his face and said," I am ready to accept your offer.. you pay the operation fee,  I will marry you", She said without any emotions on her face.." Hahahaha, what if you back off later"She thought for a while and said,"Ok then, tomorrow morning we will get married in the temple and as promised you pay the amount""I like it", he said, getting up from the couch.."Get ready to be my bride  sweetheart," he tried to touch her lips with his hands..She took a step back and said," I am not your wife yet"..She quickly turned and walked out and reached the hospital..Her mom was eagerly waiting for her with a hope on  her face .She walked towards her, Patted her shoulder and said," Everything is arranged mom, dad can undergo operation tomorrow morning.. "Riya's mom was relieved when she heard the news " But where did you get so much from??"I applied for a loan in the office and it was approved .. Money will be arranged by tomorrow morning", she lied.If she tells her mom the truth, she will never agree to it and Riya can't see her father dying. She didn't have any option left..she walked out of the hospital for the fresh air and sat on the bench in the lawn of the hospital..one night everything will be changed..Her dreams ,her life, everything will be shattered, but still she didn't have any regret.. she thought her father's life is more  important than her dreams..She didn't know how long she spent there with tears in her eyes..*****Riya didn't sleep the whole night and when the sun was rising  in the sky she reached home , took a bath and dressed herself,and walked out..She saw Raghu standing outside her house leaning on his car and waiting for her..He smiled and opened the car door for her.. she hesitated for a second , took a deep breath  and got inside with a firm decision..Soon the car reached the temple , and Riya took the temple steps with a heavy heart whereas Raghu was excited..Raghu had already made the Arrangements so the priest was ready and was waiting for the couple to come..Soon he started chanting mantras and gave a rose petals garland in Raghu's and Riya's hands and asked Riya to put the garland in Raghu's neck..When she was about to do that, her mobile rang.. it was from her mother..Without any delay she picked up  and wanted to make sure her father was still ok.." Riya, where are you?? doctors are taking your dad into the operation theatre saying the amount has been paid.. Come quickly..Riya was puzzled.. who could have paid the amount?? She was sure Raghu wouldn't have done it.. But she wanted to confirm.. She looked at him and said, `` What about the money??"He chuckled and said, the next moment you become my wife ,I will come along with you to the hospital to pay the bill..So it's not him.. She threw the garland on the floor and rushed out of the temple and took the auto stand outside the temple to reach the hospital immediately..Raghu was surprised  and was very angry by the way she broke the marriage in between.. He couldn't lose the chocolate that had come to her mouth..He followed her to the hospital..
