Sanjana's POVAnother one month passed in a blink of an eye.One day when  I reached the office, I went into Anika's cabin to get files signed and  I saw Aditya and Ashish entering together.I could see disappointment and anger on Aditya's face.Anika stood up and said," Hey Aadi what brings you here? you look in a very bad mood , what happened??He sat on the chair opposite to Anika ,glared at Ashish and said " Ask him?"I could see sweat on Ashish's forehead, I could sense there is definitely something wrong.Ashish slowly opened his mouth and said, " the  designer we hired for the launch of " Alankara Jewels " left us and joined  another company just because they offered more .Alankara Jewels was the new  joint venture of Mehta's and Hooda's.We were shocked to hear this, Anika shouted at Ashish, how could this happen Ashish, we have already fixed the date of our launch , everyone is expecting a great launch and great designs as this is a joint venture of Mehta's and Hooda's.Didn't the designer sign the bond with us?, Anika asked Ashish.Ashish nodded his head as "No.""How could you be so stupid Ashish, what will we do now, what will showstopper wear now?",Anika looked tensed.."Call all your jewellery designing team, we will have a meeting now, ask them to bring all their designs, we will select the best one that could be worn by the showstopper ", Aditya replied calmly.Anika looked at me, I understood what to do and called the jewellery designing team to come for a meeting along with their drafts.For the whole day, Anika , Ashish and Aditya looked at the designs, but nothing met their requirements. I know they all are tense, for the past few hours they are working on this.I felt everyone needed a coffee, so I went to the coffee machine and brought coffee for all of us and served them."Thank you ,Sanjana, we needed this",Aditya replied taking coffee from meHe looked very handsome when he was working .."Shhhhh, Sanjana, stop thinking", I controlled myself.Aditya was not satisfied with the designs, he nodded in disagreement...Suddenly Ashish said, Sanjana, I remember you saying, you are attending the jewellery designer course , bring your drafts, let's see if we can find something.Aditya and Anika also looked at me with a ray of hope."My designs,I don't think are of any use. I am still  a learner", I stuttered."We will decide whether they will be of any  use or not", Aditya said slowly."Yes Sanjana, let's see if we find something unique" , it was Anika this time."But all my drafts are at home", I replied.Aditya took his car keys and said," let's go.""Huuh!!",I was shocked and said , "sir can I bring them tomorrow morning"."No, I don't have much time, if they are good then our problem will be solved otherwise I have to rule out your option. ",Aditya replied.I nodded and reluctantly left with him in his car.My heart was pounding crazily to sit along with him.He drove very seriously, we didn't talk on the way to my home except telling him the route to my home.Soon after we reached our home, he said he would wait for me outside and I ran inside to get my drafts.I quickly went into my room to get my drafts, I left the last one and turned around to leave, gave a thought for a second and took the last one too.It was 6:00pm  in the evening so  my mom returned.I went to my mom and said, there is some emergency at the office, so I will be a little late.She was worried about my safety, I said don't worry I will call Nidhi to pick me up.She sighed and agreed. I came back to the place where Aditya has parked his car, he stood leaning to the car, facing his back to me.I could see the smoke , I think he is smoking.I cleared my throat and called him," sir, I have brought my drafts , shall we go".He nodded his head, threw the cigarette and sat in the car. I too opened the co-pilot seat and sat beside him.His face was stern, I didn't dare to talk to him. We reached Anika's office very soon and Aditya asked me to show him my drafts.Even Ashish and Anika joined him.I gave him my first draft and was waiting as if the student was being called by the teacher and correcting the paper in front of him. My heartbeat  was racing like a horse.He didn't like my first one and  asked me for the second.In this way he rejected almost all of my 10 designs.I felt I was failing, I was trying to control my tears."Mam, I told you , I am just a fresher in designing, how come my designs be extraordinary.",I told Anika.As if he didn't hear me ,he said, "next"There were only two drafts left with me, I handed him the first one and waited for the Result, as usual he said "next."I was left with only one draft, the one that I picked  up at the last.I slowly handed him the last draft, when he opened it, his face was calm, Anika and Ashish looked at me with surprise.I didn't know what they were thinking.Aditya, stood up with my last draft in his hands  and a smile appeared on his lips  and he said," Perfect, This is so unique , looks like you have poured your whole heart into designing it", He started admiring my design."Sir, but that's the wedding necklace.", I said slowly."We will  dress up  our showstopper as a bride", he replied calmly.Ashish looked at  the design  and said, " Did you design it for your wedding, the other day, you said you will design your own ".I wanted to kill Ashish with my bare hands."we will give her the same as her wedding gift", Aditya replied in a very calm tone.Even Anika  nodded her head and said " absolutely"I don't know what to say, they are not my friends to argue with them, so I have to bring a smile on my lips forcefully."Sanjana, I want little modifications in this draft, come here", Aditya said.I nodded my head and stood beside him, he was very tall, I could hardly reach his shoulders.He explained to me what modifications to be done , I listened to him calmly and started working on it.It was almost 9:30 pm when I finished my draft and handed it to Aditya.A smile of satisfaction appeared on his lips. "Perfect, thank you Sanjana."I was very happy because my design is going to be launched in Alankara jewels, the joint venture of Mehta and Hooda groups.This is a great opportunity for me.I was missing my mom and Nidhi right nowI wanted to share my happiness and celebrate with them.I never expected I would get such a big platform to prove myself. I was all excited and wanted to scream out of happiness but have to control my anxiety. I felt my stomach burst with happiness.
