Kimberly and Anastasia had known each other for many years. Thus, Anastasia knew Kimberly very well.

“Kimberly, I thought I made myself clear earlier.” Anastasia sighed and continued, “Jason is an independent individual. I can’t let you have him just because I want to. Kimberly held her head and looked at Anastasia. “I really like him. Can you help me?”

“I helped you win Alastor over back then too.” Kimberly snorted.

When Anastasia and Alastor were married in a blitz, they had no feelings for each other. Thus, it took a lot of effort for Anastasia to make Alastor fall in love with her, and Kimberly had been helping Anastasia come up with ideas.

“That’s different.” Anastasia shook her head.

“Simply put, you’re being greedy.” Kimberly criticized Anastasia jokingly.

“You can’t let go of Alastor, yet you won’t let me have Jason.”

Anastasia was stunned and looked at Kimberly!

Even if Kimberly was joking, Anastasia still felt hurt.

“Kimberly, we are like sisters. We’re each other’s best friends. I’ve basically agreed to your every request, except for Jason. Not this. Jason is very special to me. Even if we are not in a relationship, I won’t help you pursue him.” Anastasia shook her head.

“Alastor and I… We’re going to get a divorce tomorrow.” Anastasia did not hide it from Kimberly.

Anastasia glanced at Kimberly and replied, “He agreed today.”

Kimberly raised her eyebrows and replied, “I’m joking. Look at your face. Honestly, I think all the men in the world are the same. You might not meet another good guy after you divorce Alastor. Thus, why don’t you consider it again? At least Alastor is rich.”

Anastasia did not speak.

“Here you go.” After going out for a while, Jason returned and brought Anastasia a cup of freshly squeezed juice.

Perhaps Jason did not want Anastasia to drink beer.

“Where’s mine?” Kimberly groaned and asked, “We’ve been classmates for so many years, after all.

How can you be so biased?”

Jason looked at Kimberly’s wine glass with confusion. “Aren’t you drinking?”
