“Let Alastor tell me in person,” Anastasia leaned against the seat and said in a low voice.

“Anastasia, you better cooperate,” Felicia replied provocatively.

“What if I don’t cooperate?” Anastasia smiled.

Felicia sneered. “Why do you have to go that far?”

“Stop the car, Anastasia told the driver.

However, the driver didn’t intend to stop the car.

Anastasia opened the door directly while the car was still moving.

The driver was stunned momentarily, subconsciously activating the child safety lock. However, it was too late.

The driver had to park the car on the roadside for fear of an accident.

Anastasia got out of the car without getting her luggage.

She stood by the road and looked at Felicia. “Tell Alastor I won’t divorce him. He can do what he wants if he wants to lose all standing and reputation.”

Felicia looked solemn and called Alastor in front of Anastasia. “Mr. Lopez, your wife refused to cooperate. She got off halfway and said she’ll ruin your standing and reputation.”

Anastasia smiled. It was a new experience for her.

Anastasia got onto the sidewalk and walked alone on the outer ring road.

It was hard to hail a taxi here, so Anastasia felt a little regretful.

Felicia looked at Anastasia mockingly. “Anastasia, it’s useless for you to make trouble. Your life in Hork won’t be peaceful if you offend the Lopez family.”

After saying that, Felicia winded the window and motioned for the driver to drive away.

Anastasia stood there, feeling her breathing getting heavier.

After spending four years with Alastor, she knew he was indifferent but didn’t expect him to be so heartless.

He even asked Felicia to come pick her up from the airport, humiliating her.

Alastor didn’t even care to disguise or give her a way out.

Anastasia took out her phone with trembling fingers. She wanted to call Alastor, but her fingers weren’t under control.

“Anastasia, I’m Sienna.”

The phone rang. It was Sienna.

“Have you returned home?” Sienna lowered her voice as if she was calling her secretly.

“I’m back. What’s wrong?” Anastasia asked.

“Alastor’s mother is in our house asking for a divorce. She said that you’re not pregnant despite being married for four years. She even said that hens would know how to lay eggs…”

Anastasia’s temple throbbed. “Alastor told his mother to stir up trouble in my house?” she wondered.

According to Anastasia’s understanding of Alastor, he wouldn’t do such a thing “Would it be Felicia, then?” Anastasia thought.

Felicia seemed to have moved into the Lopez residence and got close to her future mother–in–law.

It was truly impressive.

“Our father’s blood pressure is a little high. Come back quickly, Sienna whispered.

After hanging up the phone, Anastasia took a taxi.

Her father was in poor health. He had high blood pressure and a weak heart these years.

Anastasia always thought it was retribution. However, he was still her father.

In the car, Anastasia called Alastor.

Alastor once told her not to confront his mother directly. If there was any conflict between Anastasia and his mother, Anastasia should tell him to solve it.

However, Alastor lung up her phone after two rings.

Anastasia was a little annoyed when she looked at the phone interface.

“How ruthless Alastor can be. We’ve been married for four years, Anastasia thought.

It was said that one’s true personality would be revealed during their divorce. Anastasia really didn’t want to know what tricks Alastor had.

“The Lawson family are like parasites! Aren’t you just relying on my son? Who is Anastasia, huh? How dare she spend 600 thousand dollars on a trip abroad? Who does she think she is?”

Alastor should be the only one who knew about this as she swiped Alastor’s card.

However, Felicia knew about it.

Anastasia sneered in her heart.

“She’s been married for four years and can’t even have a child. What’s the use of her in the Lopez family? Hurry up and let her come back to divorce Alastor.”

Anastasia pushed open the door and saw her father sitting there obediently while being lectured by Alastor’s mother Naomi, In the past, Anastasia’s father would get violent after getting drunk. He had a violent temper, and would never go easy on her mother.

However, he was now so humble to the Lopez family that it was sad to look at.

Anastasia laughed ironically. “Dad, I thought you had quite a temper.”

Seeing Anastasia returning. Zeke stood up with a reproachful look. “Hurry up and apologize to your mother. Why did you spend so much money?”

‘Mom? I can’t afford to be her mother,” Naomi said sarcastically.

Anastasia didn’t say anything. She walked to Naomi, took out the pregnancy check–up report from Atharia, and put it on the :able. “Do you understand? Although they are all in Atharian, I can explain it to you. I’m in my first trimester.”
