“Forget it. Let’s go inside. This restaurant even offers gigantic lobsters! We need to eat at least two of them tonight! It’s my treat, and you’re not allowed to fight me!”

Dulcie held Silvia’s arms as they went inside. She then described how delicious the seafood in the restaurant was. Her description was so vivid that even if Silvia did not pay much attention to food, she would still have a craving. Silvia could not wait to see how delicious it was.

As they passed through a carved archway, two people walked toward them.

When Silvia saw the person on the left, her heart skipped a beat. She immediately pulled Dulcie behind the rockeries at the side.

Just as Dulcie was about to speak, Silvia covered her mouth.

She only let Dulcie go once the voices of the two individuals faded away.

“Sil, if you uncovered my mouth any later, you would be attending my funeral tomorrow.”

Silvia looked at her with embarrassment. “I’m sorry, Dul. I got too anxious earlier.”

She did not expect to meet Zayn there.

Dulcie raised her eyebrows in curiosity. “Do you know those two?”

Silvia remained silent for a few seconds before she nodded and said, “Yes, I knew them.”

“What do you mean by “you knew them’? Does that mean you don’t know them anymore?”

“We sort of know each other.”

“Did you have a conflict?”

It was the first time Dulcie had seen Silvia avoiding someone like that. Hence, she immediately assumed that Silvia had offended them.

Silvia did not want her to continue probing, so she just nodded and said, “Yes. Let’s forget about this and go inside.”

Dulcie smiled and became more curious. Was there someone in Ryoln City whom Silvia was afraid of?

“Let’s go.”

“Alright. Mr. Xander, let’s meet up for another meal before you leave. I must bid farewell to you!”

“Okay. See you, Mr. Harris.”

Once Zayn sent Mr. Harris off, he smiled and returned to his car.

At 8 p.m., Silvia and Dulcie walked out of Southern Park.

Ethan had come to pick Dulcie up. Silvia watched them leave and got ready to go home as well. Just then, she heard a cheeky voice behind her.

“Sil, I know we haven’t met for a few years. But are you going to act like you don’t know me now?”

Silvia froze before she slowly turned around.

When she saw Zayn standing a few steps away, she forced a smile. He was looking at her with amusement.

“Zayn, what a coincidence. Did you have dinner here as well?”

“It’s not a coincidence. I came to Ryoln City to see you.”

She was speechless.

Zayn took two steps forward and observed her carefully. He frowned and said, “You’ve lost a lot of weight. The Pond Family hasn’t been treating you right these past few years.”

Silvia bit her lip. “Zayn, I heard that you came to Ryoln City to develop the Xander Family’s business.”

This was their first meeting in seven years.

Zayn chuckled. “Do you think the Xander Family needs to develop its business in Ryoln City? We’re just using our collaboration with the enterprises here as an excuse.”

“So, what’s the purpose of your visit?”
