Silvia frowned because she knew that she could not allow Neil to wait downstairs for her forever.
âOkay. Iâll ask him to leave later.â
Dulcie dared not raise any more questions because Silvia was acting really aloof. âIâll get back to work then.â
After Dulcie left, Silvia found it hard to read through the file in her hand.
She closed it and went downstairs.
As expected, Neilâs car was still parked at MY Corporationâs entrance. She quickly walked up to it and knocked on the window.
Neilâs face was revealed as he lowered the window.
âCan you please stop coming here? Donât you have anything else to do?â
âThe most important thing now is to win you back.â
Contempt flashed across Silviaâs eyes when she saw his serious gaze.
âI told you that Iâll never get back together with you. I hope youâll realize it soon. Iâll call the cops on you if you continue to hang around.â
Neil raised his brows in defiance. âWell, this spot doesnât belong to MY Corporation. Itâll be useless even if you call the cops. Iâm sure they canât deprive a citizen of his basic freedom.â
Silvia gritted her teeth in displeasure. âSuit yourself!â
She returned to her office in a fit of anger. Frustrated, she picked up a document and tried to read it. Yet, Neilâs shameless face kept appearing in her mind.
It seemed like he was set on pestering her.
However, she would not forgive him again.
Chris gave her a call in the afternoon.
âIâm leaving Ryoln City, Silvia. Are you free to grab a bite tonight?â
âSure. Send me the restaurantâs address,â she answered.
Mr. Remus, Your Billionaire Wife Wants a Divorce ï¤Chapter 605 Chris smiled. âThe restaurantâs a little remote. I donât think youâll be able to find it. Iâll pick you up later.â
âAlright. See you then.â
Soon, it was time to clock out of work. Silvia packed up her things and went downstairs.
Chris was already there in a white BMW. When he saw her, he immediately honked his horn.
Silvia quickly walked toward him, but someone grabbed her wrist just as she reached his car.
She frowned when she smelled the familiar scent of pine.
âWhat are you doing, Neil?â She swung his hand away and looked at him expressionlessly as she spoke.
She had had enough of his pestering and felt nothing but exhaustion and annoyance.
Neil narrowed his eyes because of her obvious disdain.
âWhere are you going with him?!â
She sneered. âWhat does it have to do with you?â
âWeâre not divorced yet, Silvia!â
Since Silvia was aware of the fake divorce, Neil decided to go all out. After all, there would not be anything worse than getting a divorce with her.
Silvia had a scornful look as she stressed her words, âThank you for reminding me how you tricked me!â
His eyes shone with dissatisfaction. He tried to grab her hand, but she avoided him.
âStop testing my patience, Silvia!â
âIâm not. Youâre the one giving yourself a hard time. You wonât have to go through so much trouble if you sign the divorce agreement!â
Watch Out, CEO Daddy!
