Ryan knew how determined Ada was to separate Silvia from Neil. She would grab any opportunity to achieve her goal.

At this moment, all he had to do was wait for her to reveal this information to Silvia.

The next morning, as Silvia drove to her mansion’s entrance, a black Maybach blocked her way.

Neil got out of the car with a dark expression and stood by the driver’s side. He just stared at her silently.

After a few minutes, Silvia frowned and rolled down her window. “Mr. Remus, I’m running late for work. Please move your car, or I’ll call the police.”

“Sil, it’s been over a month. Are you still upset?”

She was not angry anymore; she was just determined to not forgive him.

She chuckled and said, “Mr. Remus, do you still want me to forgive you? Your scandals are all over the place. You can attract countless beauties with just a snap of your fingers. Why bother clinging to me?”

“They’re not you.”

“Even if they’re not me, you still have fun hanging out with them. It looks like I’m not that important, am I?”

Neil furrowed his brows. He stared at her for a moment and laughed.

“Are you jealous?”

“I don’t have time for such a thing.”

Silvia glanced at the time with a frown and said, “Are you going to move your car?”

“I won’t move it unless you forgive me.”

Silvia’s patience wore thin, and she snapped, “Neil, aren’t you busy with work? We’ve broken up, and I’ve made it clear that I don’t want to see you again!”

“Curtis told me that women tend to speak in opposites when they’re angry. Since you say that you don’t want to see me, it means you actually want to see me.”

She was rendered speechless.

Neil was usually aloof, but he had been acting strangely lately. It turned out that Curtis had been giving him advice.

After a brief silence, she looked at him hesitantly and suggested, “You should read more documents and listen less to Curtis’s bad advice.”

“Why call it bad advice? You used to avoid me, but now you’re talking to me. Soon, you’ll forgive me.”

Realizing that it was futile to reason with him, Silvia ignored him and drove away using another route.

As Neil watched her car gradually disappear, a hint of disappointment flickered in his eyes.

When she arrived at her office, Joe approached her.

“Miss Pond, the Design Department would like to invite you to a gathering tonight. Are you interested in joining them?”

She considered it and nodded once she confirmed that she had no plans that night. “Sure. Send me the time and location.”

The hours passed by quickly. When it was time to leave work, Dulcie came to see Silvia.

“Sil, I heard that you’re joining the Design Department for their gathering tonight.”

“Yeah. What’s the matter?” Silvia replied as she organized some files.

“They invited me too. Let’s go together. The Design Department has been doing well in the second half of the year. I’ve talked to the Finance Department about giving them a bonus. We can share the good news with them tonight.”

Silvia nodded. “Sure.”

Later, they headed to the parking lot. Dulcie’s car was under maintenance, so she had been commuting via taxi recently.

After they entered Silvia’s car, Dulcie rubbed her hands together. “It’s so cold. The weather forecast mentioned snow tonight. I wonder if it will actually happen.”

Silvia then started the engine. Once they left the underground parking lot, she noticed Neil’s car on the side of the road.

She frowned and drove away as if she had not seen it.

Dulcie had spotted his car too, and she asked, “Sil, is Neil still bothering you?”
