Silvia’s expression was cold. “We already broke up, but you continued to appear outside my mansion every night. It made me feel unsafe.”

Neil was surprised. “How did you find out?”

“The security guards told me. Can you leave now?”

Neil looked into her eyes and asked, “Have you really fallen in love with Ryan?”

“What does that have to do with you?” Silvia said with impatience.

“I deliberately dated another woman and made a scene to catch your attention. Yet, you never reacted. Sil, you can hate me, but I can’t accept your indifference toward me!”

After that, he grabbed Silvia’s chin and kissed her.

“Mmm...”

Silvia tried to struggle, but he pinned her against the door and prevented her from escaping.

Feeling frustrated, she wanted to bite Neil. However, he seemed to see through her thoughts and released her lips. He pressed his forehead against hers and whispered, “Sil, I know you’re just pretending to be Ryan’s girlfriend. You’ve been angry for so long. It’s time to—”

Before he could finish his sentence, Silvia felt him freeze abruptly. Then, he slumped to the ground.

She was dumbfounded.

The security guard was standing behind Neil, and he looked at Silvia with concern.

“Miss Pond, are you okay?”

Seeing the stun gun in his hand, Silvia nodded. “I’m fine.”

“After what you told me this morning, I’ve been worried about you. I didn’t expect him to find a way inside. If I hadn’t been patrolling the area out of concern, who knows what he might have done to you?”

“Thank you.”

Glancing down at the unconscious Neil, Silvia did not know whether to laugh or pity him.

“You don’t need to thank me. I’m just doing my job. Should I call the police for you?”

She quickly shook her head. “It’s okay. I’ll ask someone to bring him back.”

Silvia gave Curtis a call, and he arrived in less than half an hour.

He was shocked to see Neil on the ground, and he instinctively turned to Silvia.

“Miss Pond, did you knock Mr. Remus out?”

Before Silvia could answer, the security guard beside her spoke up, “He was bothering Miss Pond in the middle of the night, so I stunned him. Please take him away and advise him not to come here again. Otherwise, I’ll report him to the police.”

Curtis was at a loss for words.

Five minutes later, Silvia thanked the security guard and returned to her mansion as Neil’s car left.

Meanwhile, Ryan and Ada were sitting opposite each other in a private club.

After Ada heard what Ryan had to say, she sneered. “Mr. Anderson, you’re quite the strategist. You want me to be the bad guy and tell Silvia about Neil’s lie regarding their divorce. Then, you’ll come in later as the hero, huh?”

She was shocked when she learned that Silvia and Neil were not yet divorced. However, she quickly realized what Ryan’s intentions were.

He smiled and calmly said, “Miss Pond, it’s a win-win situation. Once Neil and Silvia are officially divorced, you’ll have the opportunity to get closer to him, won’t you?”

Although he was right, she did not want to be his pawn.

“Mr. Anderson, I’ll pretend not to know about this, and I won’t expose it to Silvia.”

Ryan’s expression remained unchanged.

“Do as you wish, Miss Pond.”

Ada then got up and left without another word.

Despite that, Ryan took a sip of coffee and smiled confidently.
