Ada kept quiet for a while. She then looked at him and asked, “You’re really willing to help me?”

Liam snorted. “Why would I lie to you? I’m going to be a wanted criminal for the rest of my life. I might as well use the last of my power to kill Silvia so that you can be with Neil.”

Since he did not love Ada, he just wanted the baby to have a better life.

“What do you plan on doing?”

“You don’t have to worry about it. You’ll find out later on.”

With that, Ada stopped asking about it. “You can sleep on the floor. I’m going back to sleep too,” she said indifferently.

Liam did not say anything else. He only reached out to touch her stomach. Immediately after, he lay down on the couch next to the bed.

Ada pursed her lips as she no longer felt sleepy.

She was debating whether she should tell Neil about Liam’s presence. That was one way for her to gain his affection.

However, when she recalled how he had blocked her number, ruthlessness filled her eyes.

The following day was Saturday, so Neil and Silvia did not go out.

While they were having breakfast, Silvia asked, “Has he been found?”

“Not yet. He disappeared after he passed through several spots without surveillance cameras. I’m getting someone to investigate this.”

She nodded. “Alright. You need to send more reinforcements to protect your grandmother and parents. I’m afraid that he might do something to them again.”

“Got it. I’ve mobilized two bodyguards. Before we catch him, you shouldn’t go out without bodyguards as well.”

Silvia frowned in response. “There’s no need for that. I can take care of myself.”

“No. I won’t worry as much if you bring the bodyguards with you.”
