Silvia was stunned. She wanted to free herself from his embrace but failed to do so.

“Neil, what are you doing? Let go of me!”

Joe was still looking at them from the door!

However, Neil refused to let her go. He tightened his arms around her as if he was afraid that she would disappear if he let go.

Silvia sensed that something was wrong with him. “Neil, what’s wrong with you?” She frowned.

When they were at the entrance of Winston’s clinic earlier, Neil still seemed incredibly angry. Why did it seem like he had done a complete 180?

Neil only released her after a long time. He lowered his head and said, “You’re Moon, aren’t you?”

There was a hint of surprise in her eyes. She wanted to ask him if Winston had told him that. However, she felt that Winston would not take such matters into his own hands.

“Why are you asking me this?”

“It really is you.”

Neil’s eyes were filled with guilt. “Sorry. I’ve misunderstood you for so long.”

Silvia remained quiet for a moment before she said, “How did you know?”

“After you left, Alan came to me. He told me that if he didn’t spare Remus Corporation, Moon wouldn’t agree to perform surgery on Chris. That reminded me of the things that happened when my legs were injured. My instincts told me that you were Moon!”

Silvia did not think that was the reason.

She looked at him indifferently. “You’ve misunderstood one thing. I told Joe to give Alan that reason because I triggered Alan to take down Remus Corporation. Besides, whether he agrees to spare Remus Corporation or not, I’ll still save Chris.”

Disappointment flashed across Neil’s eyes as he pursed his lips tightly.

“When you treated my legs, why didn’t you tell me that you were Moon?”

Mr. Remus, Your Billionaire Wife Wants a Divorce Silvia smiled. “I didn’t want you to feel indebted to me at first. After all, it was my decision to marry you. After that, I didn’t want to have anything to do with you, so there was no need to tell you.”

Neil felt a sharp pang in his chest with every word she said.

She had been doing so much for him in secret, but he kept hurting her and questioning if she was with other men. When he thought about it, his heart hurt even more.

“Silvia, I’m sorry! I’m really sorry!”

She was stunned to see him tear up, and she fell silent immediately after.

She deserved his apology.

Silvia had never done him wrong from treating his legs to saving Abalene. He was the one who owed her instead.

“I have a meeting later. If you have nothing else going on, you should go back.”

After that, she sat down and continued to read through her documents.

She was not a robot. Her frustrations would not miraculously disappear after a simple apology from Neil.

Also, she had not forgotten the incident this morning. When she heard Neil threatening Winston, she was actually upset about it.

Not only did he not understand her, but he also did not respect her friend.

“I’ll personally apologize to Dr. Russell.”

Silvia’s hand trembled around the document. She lowered her gaze and stoically said, “That’s your business.”

“I’ll come over tonight and bring you to dinner.”

She was just about to reject his offer when he added, “I’ll invite Winston too. I’ll apologize to him over dinner. Can you keep me company?”

Silvia glanced at Neil and saw the guilt in his eyes, so she finally nodded. “Alright.”
