Silvia was unbothered. “That’s a normal outcome. If they weren’t fired, the brands’ reputation would be affected.”

Dulcie sighed. Not everyone was as smart as Silvia.

“Hello, Miss Pond. I’m calling from Ryoln City’s police station. Regarding yesterday’s attack on you, we would like to invite you over to make a statement.”

She rushed to the police station in less than half an hour.

After she made her statement, the police officer looked at her and said, “Since the incident didn’t lead to any significant injury or damage, the perpetrator will only be detained for seven days. Besides, we’re not in charge of plagiarism cases.”

Silvia had anticipated this outcome.

Before she left the police station, she paid Reva a visit to ask about the flash drive.
