Chapter 6: CHAPTER 6

PRECIOUS TIMEWords: 11103

Four years later.

At the entrance of Little Sun Kindergarten, a young female teacher and two children stood.

One of the small beans has small curly chestnut hairs. He is very beautiful. He is small like a mixed race doll.

He has big amber eyes and thick curled eyelashes. The skin is white and crystal clear like milk. He is wearing a thick white winter coat on the clothes. There is also white fluff, like a little snowball, round and very cute.

Another kid stood beside him with his mouth pursed, frowning with a cold face but he was still a kid and with this expression, he looked very funny.

He is also a rare beautiful child but the clothes he wears look a bit old, the cuffs are frayed and the blue schoolbag on the back has obvious oil spots.

Standing next to the carefully crafted little peas, he looks a lot rougher.

The female teacher squatted down to comfort the most beautiful and obedient little boy in their class.

"Little Rak, don't cry. Dad will be here soon."

Rak Thanapon nodded, stirring the schoolbag strap with his soft fingers.

He stood at the school gate and looked around for a long time, watching the children around him being picked up by their parents one by one.

He licked his mouth and wanted to cry but tried to hold back the tears.

After repeating this action many times, the little guy's tears still couldn't hold back.

A bean-sized teardrop slipped from the corner of his eye and he immediately wiped it with his finger.

The kid standing nearby took a crumpled napkin from his pocket and wiped his hands.

Teacher Greta looked very distressed. There are many children in their class, all of them are very noisy.

When they cry, they can't wait to lift the roof and roll on the ground but Lil Rak never does this, even if he is bullied.

He just smiled softly and he was crying sadly now but he didn't make a sound.

Such a little guy, among the beasts, seemed particularly pitiful.

At the corner, Jeff hurried over.

Lil Rak burst into laughter immediately, waved to him vigorously and shouted, "Dad!!!"

Jeff ran to him breathlessly and repeatedly apologized to the teacher, "Sorry I am late, the shop is a bit busy."

"It's okay." Teacher Greta smiled and looked at the young father who was two years younger than her.

She knows that he is usually very busy and she understands that he has to take care of the child alone, "Pay attention next time."

"Okay." Jeff picked up Lil Rak, saw his nose flushed with cold and whispered, "Dad is here. Sorry I'm late."

Lil Rak shook his head vigorously, his voice was sticky while thinking about a piece of rice cake, "Dad is working hard."

Jeff smiled and hugged him to say goodbye to Teacher Greta, "Lil Rak, say goodbye to Teacher Greta and Sky."

Sky clenched his fist and released it, repeating this action twice.

This is his unique way of goodbye.

He said softly, "Goodbye teacher, goodbye Sky."

Teacher Greta smiled and said goodbye to him but Sky turned in silence and left coolly.

Lil Rak looked at his back and thought, both of them are same age why is there such a big gap.

He turned around and hugged Jeff's neck, and pressed it to his ear and said, "Dad, I'm hungry."

Jeff smiled and turned to the small guy. Recently, he has grown a little meat and his face has become much rounder.

"Then let's go to the store and eat something delicious, okay~"

Lil Rak lay in his arms, "Hmm!"

Jeff was tired today, but at the moment holding Lil Rak, he didn't feel tired at all.

When he left the Hemmawich family four years ago, all his savings were less than 10,000 baht which can be said to be very embarrassing.

But he is not discouraged. He wants to survive in this city on his own.

The first thing is to solve is the housing problem. Ratchathewi is a big city and every inch of land is expensive but Jeff doesn't want to leave.

This city is the original place where Jeff grew up and it is also the only city he knows better. It may be more difficult to adapt to other places rashly.

He interviewed several homeowners, and then chose a suburban house.

A small house but with a bathroom and kitchen.

The monthly rent was a little over 2,000, which was very cost-effective.

The landlord is a 50-year-old auntie, who is very kind and said that she's worried about him renting alone.

It was too difficult for a young father like him to , and wanted to help.

Jeff was very moved and signed a contract with her.

He lived in that house for almost a year, then he had a child and moved to the one bedroom and one living room he currently lives in.

For Jeff at that time, it was more difficult to solve the problem of work than housing.

Jeff didn't have a diploma. After graduating from high school, he worked and got married.

Later, he found that there was a small restaurant downstairs hiring cooks.

The small restaurant was opened by a young couple out of town and  was more than ten years older than Jeff.

In their eyes, Jeff was still a child so they treated him very well.

He worked in the restaurant for two months and suddenly fainted at noon one day.

The boss sent him to the hospital, and the result of the examination shows that Jeff was pregnant.

He was shocked when he heard the news but the reaction of the doctors and nurses present at that time was very calm.

So Jeff knows that in this world, it is very normal for men to have children.

No wonder he often sees two men taking their children to dinner in restaurants, and he didn't think much about it at the time.

The doctor asked him if he wanted to get the abortion but Jeff reject it without hesitation.

He wants to keep this child, he wanted this child.

This was his first relative in this world, and he didn't want to deprive him of his life just like that.

He had a dream on the night when he was pregnant.

He dreamed of Rak Thanapon, who was so small and so well behaved.

He crawled into his arms, hooked his hand with his finger and called him dad sweetly.

Jeff became more determined.

He named him Rak Thanapon, which mean love.

He hopes that his baby can have boundless happiness, not as unlucky as him, who always being rejected.

He hopes he can always be loved by others.

He will work hard, let Lil Rak live a good life and have a happy childhood.

Recently, the couple in the small restaurant goes back to their hometown so Jeff borrowed some money from a friend and bought the small restaurant.

The small restaurant business is very good.

The location is in the suburbs, which is not dominant.

However, in recent years this area has been included in the urban development plan.

The location is not particularly bad, and the food itself taste good and cheap.

The surrounding residents like to go to the eat in restaurants and business is particularly good.

Although Jeff is still in debt, he believes that soon he will let Lil Rak live in a better house and lead a better life.

"Dad, Uncle Pete said yesterday that he would play with me tonight."

The name of Uncle Pete in the little guy's mouth was Pete Obrnithi.

He was the son of the previous landlord's auntie and is a university teacher.

Jeff had met Pete several times before but was not familiar with him.

Later, the landlord auntie learned that Jeff worked in that small restaurant.

She felt sympathy towards Jeff  who had to work and take care of a baby, so she often offered to help.

She said that she was idle when she was at home so it was better to go out and find something to do.

Pete often came there.

Go to the shop to visit his mom, and then he became familiar with Jeff and Lil Rak.

Jeff borrowed money from him.

"Yes. Well, you like it or not play with together with Uncle Pete?"

"Like!" Lil Rak clap, then show a face affectionately like the summer forest, "but I still like to play with Daddy!"

Jeff kissed his son's face and his heart was warm, and his hands tightened.

Lil Rak was out of school at this time when the store was the busiest.

There were a few tables of customers in the store  but lack of employees.

The landlady was helping.

Seeing Jeff come back, she immediately led Lil Rak over, "Jeff, the back kitchen is too busy, go and help. I will watch the kid for you."

Jeff said yes, and then went to the kitchen.

Lil Rak was pulled by the landlady and his head went straight to his dad.

She wanted to take him out for a dance session with the older generation at the park.

He refused so he stayed in the store, sitting at the cashier's place and took out colouring book, while reading and painting.

"Lil Rak!" Pete came.

Lil Rak's eyes lit up and jumped off the stool.

As a result, his legs were too short and he fell to the ground with a bang.

Jeff heard the cry of a child outside in the back kitchen.

He quickly walked out and saw Pete holding his son.

Lil Rak has stopped crying but he covered his forehead with two hands and sobbed quietly.

Jeff was distressed.

Pete saw him come out and apologized to him embarrassedly, "I'm sorry, maybe I scared him just now. Lil Rak jumped off the stool and knocked his head."

"I don't blame you P'Pete. It's Lil Rak that is not careful."

Lil.Rak pouted and looked at him. Jeff took away his hand and saw that the forehead was indeed swollen.

He blew gently, then hugged Lil Rak and coaxed.

He said, "Daddy will take you out, okay?"

Lil.Rak nodded, then buried his face on his shoulder.

Jeff took him out for a walk.

The street where the small restaurant is located is called  Mo Chit Street.

In recent years, it has become a key development project in the city.

In addition to their old shops, they have also opened many new fashionable small shops, which are well developed and there is also a snack street because there is a university nearby.

Every night Jeff took Lil Rak out, they would be watched by female college students.

The beautiful dad with his beautiful son is really eye-catching, especially Rak Thanapon is very cute.

He looks round in winter clothes. The white woolen hat has two balls on both sides, which is cute and bursting.

Jeff bought a roasted sweet potato for Lil Rak to coax him. Lil Rak held the big sweet potato tightly, and the pain in his forehead immediately disappeared.

On the long street less than 100 meters away from Jeff, a black sports car was driving fast.

The person sitting in the car wore a black suit with meticulously combed hair, revealing a young, exquisite and handsome face but at the moment the beautiful eyebrows seemed to be fogged, and he looked like he's in a bad mood.

Alan quarrelled with the board of directors at the company, drove out to relax and accidentally came to this place far away from the city center.

Coincidentally, he was responsible for the development of this area but he hasn't come for a while after the completion of the project.

Alan casually scanned the street scene.

The long street was brightly lit. There was a lot of people on the weekend.

Alan thought that when he first took over the project, this piece of land was a "wasteland".

The development is good, and the sense of accomplishment makes his brows stretched slightly.

Suddenly Alan turned away, his eyes fixed on a certain place in the crowd.

He just seemed to see Jeff Thanapon, his ex wife.
