Chapter 45: CHAPTER 45

Jeff felt that he had asked a very stupid question.

Of course, he can eat it.

Lil Rak  ate another red bean bun in the car, got out of the car and shouted that he was hungry.

Lil Rak was held by Alan. Jeff turned a deaf ear to his little nagging, and asked Alan, "Are you really sure, you are going to cook?"

Alan nodded confidently, "I've learned. Yes, you must believe in me."

Jeff joked, "Did you learn from the Internet?"

"Learned from Sister Pan." Alan pursed, "Of course I think online video teaching is actually pretty good."

Jeff laugh out loud.

They originally planned to go out to eat at night but they didn't know why Alan suddenly volunteered to wrap up today's dinner. He wanted to see what the result would be.

Alan put down Lil Rak, went to the kitchen and drove Sister Pan out.

Jeff took Lil Rak to watch TV in the living room. After watching TV for a while, he went to the kitchen and wanted to watch Alan's battle.

Then he saw Alan, with the spatula in the left hand and tablet in the right hand looked very orderly, a clear explanation could be heard coming from the tablet.

"First of all, we need to prepare green and red peppers, starch, cooking oil, ketchup... and other ingredients..."

He was watching the cooking video waiting in a row. It was really cute, Jeff couldn't help but laugh out loud.

After discovering him coming in, Alam immediately put down the tablet and scratched his nose, "Suddenly forgot the steps."

Jeff didn't give him face, so he dismantled the platform, "At the speed of your learning and practice, we will eat supper not dinner."

Jeff said as he walked to Alan side, leaned over to see Alan's ingredients.

Um, the cuts are still pretty good but he doesn't know if it will come out edible.

Alan easily fed him a small tomato, confidently saying, "It definitely can be eaten, soon."

"I'll help."

Jeffl walked to the other side, and he also had something to cook, the eight-treasure rice.

In the morning, he asked Sister Pan to help steam the glutinous rice and the ingredients were all processed. It should be finished soon.

Seeing his movements, Alan asked curiously, "Honey, what are you doing?"

Jeff didn't even think about it, and said casually, "Eight Treasure Rice, don't we all eat this in our youth? You haven't eaten it before? "

Alan was taken aback for a moment, without speaking.

Alan didn't answer, and the sudden silence in the kitchen made Jeff come back to his senses.

It seems that this city does not have the custom of eight-treasure rice.

His heart sank, and then carefully observed Alan's expression, he only glanced at Jeff then diverted his gaze and said nothing.

But Jeff always felt that there seemed to be something else in that look.

He didn't make mistakes in front of Alan once or twice. Although they were all small details, they added up to be fatal.

The key is that Alan noticed it every time but he didn't reveal it, let alone get to the bottom of it.

He is such a rigorous person, but always ignores Jeff's mistakes over and over again. Is it really because he doesn't have any ideas?

Jeff was flustered and confused.

Now that he is ready to live together, should he be honest to Alan?

Until dinner, Jeff was still thinking about it. Fortunately, Lil Rak kept making noises, judging on which dishes on the table were the best and which was the ugliest.

Alan held him patiently and listened to his nonsense so Jeff restlessness was not particularly obvious.

"Baby, are the dishes your uncle cooks delicious?"

Lin Keai said vaguely with his mouth full, "Good!"

Alan was a little proud, and raised an eyebrow at Jeff.

"Everything he eats is delicious, and you can't take serious what he says." Jeff smiled, and then put a fishball in his mouth.

Alan looked at him expectantly, and Jeff blinked, "It tastes okay."

Alan let out a long sigh of relief.

Jeff felt a little calmer.

"Dad, I want to eat that!"

Lil Rak pointed to the eight-treasure meal in front of Jeff and shouted.

"Okay, Dad will serve you." Jeff dug a piece for him with a spoon, and the soft sweet eight-treasure rice entered his mouth.

Lil Rak narrowed his eyes with contentment.

Alan also said, "Honey, I want to eat too."

"Isn't it right in front of you." Jeff whispered, and then gave him a little more.

"I really like this and dad said that if you didn't eat it as a kid, then you are pitiful." Lil Rak sighed as he ate, "It's really sad."

Lil Rak's complexion was stagnant, and he looked at Alan subconsciously.

"It's delicious and sweet." Alan said, "I am eating it for the first time."

"Then, Uncle Alan, you are so pitiful?" Lil Rak looked at him sympathetically, "Dad said, he does it every year and eat all of them."

Jeff had a headache. He deliberately refrained from mentioning this, but he couldn't hold back. The little guy had to say it again and again.

The meal was too much, so Jeff went back to the room on the excuse of being uncomfortable.

After a while, Alan came.

He knocked gently on the door, and then walked into the room.

Jeff sat beside the bed and didn't speak when he saw him coming in.

Alan sat beside him and asked softly, "Honey, what's the matter with you?"

Jeff bit his lip, then met Alan's gaze and made up his mind. "Alan, did you notice it?"

Alan was silent for a while, and said, "If you mean that you are very different from Jeff Thanapon before, I notice it very early."

Alan's guess was actually far more than this, but he couldn't confirm it. He said his speculation abruptly in front of Jeff, if it was wrong, it would be very offensive so it could only be vague.

Sure enough, Alan knew about it, Jeff thought.

"I am indeed not the same Jeff Thanapon as before." Jeff's voice trembled and his eyes looked away. "I don't know why I suddenly came into this world and became what I am now. I haven't mentioned this to anyone. No one would believe me, maybe they would still think I'm crazy. If it wasn't for my own experience, I would think it's too ridiculous and weird."

"I believe it." Alan pulled him into his arms and whispered softly, said, "Honey, I actually thought about it this way. Maybe you are not the same Jeff before but I just think about it, because this kind of thing is really unusual. I am afraid I think too much and I didn't ask you because I felt that if you wanted me to know, you would tell me by yourself. If you didn't tell it, it means that this is your secret. I don't want to force you to say it."

Jeff thought after Alan knew this, he would feel uncomfortable, panic and even more radical reactions. Jeff had anticipated it because it was indeed something that was not easy to accept but Alan accepted it very gently.

Jeff's heart was warmed. He wrapped his arm around Alan's neck and said softly, "So every time you see a flaw, you will pretend not to know?"

Alan smiled lightly.

"Then since when did you find out?"

"Before the divorce, I felt that you suddenly looked like a different person. Not the same as before but at that time, I didn't expect this level." Alan paused, "Later I met you again. One time we went to eat, you saaid that you are allergic to crabs. This is the first time I had such a thing."

Jeff sighed softly, "It turns out that it was at that time. I don't remember it anymore."

Alan deliberated and asked, "Honey, I really want to know when you came to this world."

After finishing speaking, he added, "If you don't want to say it, you can just leave it alone."

"It's nothing wrong. It can be said," Jeff whispered, "Four years ago, at the beginning, I didn't have all of his memory. I really thought you were my partner. I have always been alone and finally I have family for the first time. I was really happy at the time. I thought you liked me too so although you are always indifferent to me but I still want to be close to you. I really didn't have any acting or other bad thoughts, I just thought we were lovers. There was an awkward relationship so you didn't want to pay attention to me. Later, when I came back from North's birthday party, I suddenly remembered everything and I knew what the relationship was between us so I filed for a divorce with you."

He whispered and slowly talked about what happened at that time, but it seemed like a knife was cutting Alan's heart.

Although he had such speculations, when he knew that all this was not speculation but reality, the overwhelming sense of self-blame instantly swallowed him.

At that time, Jeff suddenly came to this strange world, knowing nothing, doing nothing, trying hard to please everyone around him but all the feedback he received was malicious.

Especially himself.

He stepped on Jeff's innocent heart, and stabbed him with cold words time and time again.

He remembered that Jeff just looked at him helplessly every time after being ridiculed by him and then silently retracted into the corner.

So many grievances, no one can say, can only swallow it alone.

At that time Alan felt that he was pretending to be pathetic.

"I'm sorry, Honey," Alan hugged him hard, "I'm sorry."

Alan didn't know what to say, so he could only repeat these three words over and over again but the more he said it, the sadder and regretful he became.

Before that, he had told Jeff countless times to forgive him.

But now, he thinks that he cannot make up for all his wrong doing, which is really ridiculous.
