Shi Xin smiled and said to her, âShen Yi is having a talk with his little brother.â
That was the youngest master of the Shen family. He and Shen Yi had the same father and the same mother, but he regarded Shen Yi more or less as an eyesore.
Lu Wanwan who had just woke up, didnât have much energy and she just nodded, said âohâ, and didnât say anymore.
Shi Xin patted the head of the child in her arms, and smiled lightly as she said, âThis is your aunty, youâve met her already my good baby, quickly say hello.â
The little girl had a shy temperament. Seeing her beautiful aunt, she was a little embarrassed and buried her little face in her motherâs neck. After a while, she sneakily lifted up her face and looked at her with round eyes, before greeting her obediently : âHello, aunty.â
Chapter 79
(31.2)
Her voice was sweet and soft
Lu Wanwan bent down to look at her on the same level. Smiling at her, she said, âHello, whatâs your name?â
Her collar was loose, thus when she bent down to talk, Shi Xin inevitably saw her neck and the traces on her collarbone.
She sighed in her heart, young people sure were full of energy.
Lu Wanwan was naturally beautiful, her skin was tender like a piece of watery tofu, just with a gentle pinch, it seemed like a lot of water would come out of her skin. She looked both delicate and fragile.
Even she couldnât help but feel distressed for her.
âShen Xingxing.â The little girl replied with a red face.
âWhat a nice name.â
The little girlâs face was chubby and her small face was round, she looked very cute.
Unfortunately, her father, Shen Shi, was not a good thing.
Shi Xin, seeing that she liked children, brought up the subject: âWhen are you going to have a child? You and Shen Yi have been married for almost two years now, right?â
Lu Wanwan thought to herself, Shen Yi didnât like children at all.
She sighed, pretending to be pitiful: âHe doesnât seem to be interested in having children, regarding such a matter, how would I have the heart to force him?â
Shi Xin said meaningfully, âHow is that possible? In my opinion, Shen Yi is also a person who likes children. Who knows, maybe youâll become pregnant soon.â
With Shen Yiâs cold nature, the fact that he could still show a few smiles to her daughter, was already very surprising in Shi Xinâs opinion.
Lu Wanwan just laughed and didnât say anything in reply.

Unless it was not necessary, the little master of the Shen family didnât even want to talk to his so-called second brother. Before, he felt that the fact that Shen Yi didnât move back into the Shen family old mansion was really excellent news.
Out of sight, out of mind. Looking at Shen Yiâs face, which was similar to his own by thirty percent, he felt annoyed in his heart.
When Shen Yi was taken away by their mother, he was actually very young. Now he couldnât even remember how they used to get along when they were children. Now even talking was very awkward.
After calling out Shen Yi âsecond brotherâ in a awkward way, he said, âItâs because I have something serious to ask you, otherwise I wouldnât even want to speak to you.â
Shen Yiâs eyes were indifferent: âHmm.â
The look in the Shen little masterâs eyes was complicated as he looked at his own brother, âAll these years, how have you been living outside?â
He always thought that Shen Yi had been living with their mother, and because he was unwilling to inquire about them, he also wasnât yet aware of the fact that Shen Yi had been abandoned by their mother long before junior high school.
The little master of the Shen family grew up with fine clothes and extravagant meals, under the care and love of his brother and grandfather. What he got was already good enough but he often couldnât help but wonder, would he have been happier if his mother was there ?
He was in fact a spoiled child who wasnât satisfied with what he already had.
Shen Yiâs face was expressionless: âItâs been okay.â
The little master of the Shen said in a strange voice: âWhat do you mean okay ? Was it good or bad? You speak clearly, I wonât do anything to you.â
Could it be that because of jealousy, he would beat him up?
Not to mention whether or not he would be able to beat him up or not, anyways he didnât have the guts to start a fight at home.
Shen Yi smiled lightly. Slightly pursing his lips, he said, âThat year when I was thirteen, she went abroad, though it cannot be said I had a hard time, but it wasnât as good as you think it was.â
The day he was abandoned, he was sitting, at a loss, in their rented apartment, still clutching in his hands the money left for him by the woman. He was unable to hear anything else as he was racking his brain trying to figure out, in the end, what part of him didnât do well enough, that he would be so emotionlessly left behind ? He was seen as a burden, as garbage, so there was no reluctance, nor guilt in leaving him behind.
The Shen little master at first thought he heard wrong. He was stuttering as he said : âWhâ¦. What?â
Shen Yi still kept on smiling and looked at him as he said, âSo you have nothing to be jealous of.â
Shen Yi patted his shoulder and sighed, âYouâre still young, youâd better study hard.â
After saying that, not interested in staying any longer, he turned around to leave.
The insults that the little master Shen wanted to use were all swallowed back into his stomach, not one word was able to come out of his mouth.

At dinner, the grandfather Shen was not present, he had gone to S city to visit one of his old friend in the past few days and had yet to return.
The only ones present at home were the three children of the Shen family.
The Shen little master stared at Shen Yi the whole time. His expression appeared aggrieved, and he looked like he was hesitant to say something.
At the dinner table, only the oldest brother and his wife seemed relatively normal, exchanging greetings and expressing their care for one another, with a smile on their face as they were speaking, though the topic of the conversation was mostly around the child.
The young couple, Lu Wanwan and Shen Yi, didnât even speak one word to each other, seemingly as if they had just quarreled.
