Boom!
Suddenly from out of the blue, a strong gush of wind came flying over from the air, aiming straight for Bai Yanâs body and forcing the lady to dodge. Thankfully she did so too because the next thing she knew was a huge crack along the ground from where she was standing before.
Moments later, a figure gradually emerges from the void to reveal the perpetrator. Itâs an old woman based on her appearance, but the clear indicator of her old age wasnât the face, itâs that immense pressure exuding out of her body. Sheâs clearly a Demi Divine Lord!
Bai Yanâs breathing rhythm definitely grew faster at the sight of this new entry. Sure, she already knew things wouldnât pan out exactly in the way she imagined things, thatâs why she prepared that pill ahead of time to flee if need to be. Itâs just that, having things outside her expectations was still worryingâ¦.
âOh crap!â The old coot rushes over to Bai Yanâs side after muttering that aloud, âGood granddaughter, hurry and leave this place, that woman is bad, she will try to hurt you.â
Recognizing who it was, the old womanâs gaze promptly turned cold and hard, Does this crazy old coot really recognize me?
âOld Coot, did you forget you are also a member of the Celestial Palace?â Dry and hoarse in her voice, Keeper Red barks this out with extreme frustration and anger.
Stomping his feet in annoyance, the old coot clearly had other thoughts about the idea: âWho is a member of the Celestial palace? I only want my good granddaughter, I donât want to collude with you bunch of little rabbits!â
Snarling with disdain in her face, âI really wonder if youâve actually lost your mind or just acting at this point. To think you would know how to use the word collude in your situation.â
Giving a glare in retaliation: âYou are the crazy one, your whole family is crazy! You bunch of crazies arenât allowed to bully my granddaughter!â
âHahaha!â Cackling a laugh over that insult, the old woman only found it funny: âOld Coot, if it was a thousand years ago then I might be afraid of your strength, but youâve long devolved beyond comparison after that shock. Now you want to threaten me? Donât think for a second you are a match for me anymore!â
From underneath that messy hair nest of his, the old senior actually revealed an aggrevated light in those eyes before he walked up to the old lady who had already descended to the ground.
âAre you regretting it now? You want to returnâ¦â But that sentence didnât even get to finish before the most unbelievable thing occurred.
Right in front of the crowd for all to see, the old coot actually spat onto Keeper Redâs face!
âThat way your face will be cleaner, hahaha.â
Talk about being humiliated. The old woman swiftly wipes away the stain along her face and then swiped her sleeve towards the other side.
âCareful!â
Bai Yanâs heart nearly leaped out of her chest in that second. Without thinking, she had already grabbed hold of the old man to drag him over. But itâs too late. In the end her gesture was too slow and allowed the old ladyâs palm strike to land on the grandpaâs shoulder.
âHow are you?â Bai Yan asks with an urgent face after getting him to safety.
