Little Yichen stood outside, in the doorway, staring through the gap at the door into the bedroom. He frowned at the way she had her arms around Gong Fan, then turned around with a grave expression.

Standing behind him with two glasses of water, Hua Jin lowered his voice and asked, “How is it going? Is he asleep?”

Little Yichen shook his head. “I can’t see clearly, but… Mommy’s putting him to bed!”

“Well then…” Hua Jin looked the two glasses of water in his hand. “Should I send this in?”

“Better not for now! Let’s not disturb Little Brother.”

“Okay… alright.” The actor turned and placed the water on a nearby cabinet, his expression grim.

It was not a small matter that Gong Fan had suddenly fainted. How could this have happened for no reason?
