Liang Yin also accompanied him to buy some daily necessities. He would be staying at the filming location for a long time, and it was not feasible for him to go back to her rented place to get them. Therefore, the daily necessities were all settled in the studio city.

Hua Jin asked her if it was really okay not to go home. Liang Yin told him that her parents wouldn’t care if she went home or not. He raised an eyebrow but said nothing.

“Different in what way?”

“Every time someone asks about my parents, they try to talk me round saying that there’s no parent in the world who doesn’t love their child. They even say that as long as they’re my parents, they’ll love me.”

The actor laughed at that. “Well, that’s because they don’t know that there really are irresponsible fathers and mothers out there.”
