Sashaâs jaw dropped for a long while as she stared at the phone screen.
She could not believe that Sebastian mentioned the kids even before returning to his primary personality.
He even wanted to bring them to Oceanic Estate.
What happened to him all of a sudden? I thought he had not recovered yet. If he has no memories of the
kids, how will he face them? Plus, Calvinâs death proves someone is targeting the kids. Isnât he afraid the
kids might get into trouble if they come here?
Sasha kept staring at the text while her mind was filled with befuddlement.
âWho is it? Is that him?â Judging from Sashaâs look, Jonathan knew who sent the message right away.
After hesitating for a long while, Sasha eventually showed Jonathan the text message.
âHe says that Ms. Hayes knows where the three kids are. He asks you to arrange for the kids to come
here.â
As unexpected, Jonathanâs eyes widened with shock upon seeing that message.
But his shock only lasted for a few seconds, as it got immediately replaced by joy.
Of course, he would be delighted as he would meet his great-grandchildren shortly.
With that, Jonathan immediately went downstairs and made a call to Sabrina.
Sabrina got left in total awe. âDid My brother ask you to find me? How did heâ¦â
She wanted to ask how Sebastian found out that she knew about the kidsâ whereabouts, as she had
denied it entirely throughout the time in Oceanic Estate.
Jonathan sneered, âHeâs forgetful, but not dumb!â
Sabrina was rendered speechless upon hearing that.
In the end, she obediently revealed the whereabouts of the two kids.
After finding out, Jonathan brought his men and went to Miralaea personally.
He comprehended the bodyguard captainâs analysis fully.
Thus, he did not dare to leave this matter in othersâ hands. He wanted to make sure of the safety of the
kids.
Sasha had mixed feelings when she saw Jonathan go to find the kids personally.
She had never forgiven him all this while.
After all, the whole family ended up like this because of him.
Hence, there was no way she would accept him so quickly.
But now that she saw how he acted personally to protect the kidsâ safety, she did not know how to react
to it.
âMr. Hayes, why do you want to bring the kids here suddenly? Arenât you afraid that they might get into
danger?â
After Jonathan left, the room door on the third floor finally opened.
Sasha would come up to send food or to check up on his body. In all, she would come up more than
seven times in a day.
And this question had been sticking in her throat for a long while.
At that moment, Sebastian was standing by the window, staring at the scenery outside.
Since he opened his roomâs door two days ago, he had been utterly quiet. Sometimes, he would stand
by the window for hours. It made Sasha somehow uneasy.
After hearing Sashaâs question, he raised his brows slightly and answered, âItâs because Iâm here.â
Sasha was loss for words.
Her worries faded instantly upon hearing Sebastianâs reply.
Thatâs right. If heâs here, heâll protect them well. Whether or not he remembers, the bond of a father will
be there.
After coming out of the room, Sasha started to worry about her daughterâs situation.
Sasha texted: Sabrina, what did you say when you mentioned Vivi to Jonathan?
Sabrina texted back: What else could I say? I said what you told me to, that she was sick and got sent to
another place by my brother.
Sasha was rendered speechless.
This is so awkward⦠but I canât think of another excuseâ¦Vivian is, in fact, here in this place.
Putting down the phone, Sasha did not further think about this matter. On the other hand, she began
worrying about her two sons. Will they be obedient if they meet Jonathan suddenly?
Little did she know that Vivian had already informed the two boys in Miralaea about what happened
around here.
Vivian texted: Brother Cal is dead. Iâm really sad.
Meanwhile, Matteo was sitting on the villa staircase, filled with worries. He had not received any news
from Vivian for over two days.
On the other hand, Ian was also overwhelmed with sorrow.
As he grew up in the Hayes Residence, Calvinâs death was a big blow to him.
So who exactly caused his death?
âI want to avenge him!â He clenched his fists in profound exasperation.
Matteo cast a glance at him and reminded, âHow do you want to do it? We donât even know who killed
him.â
They witnessed Calvinâs death through Vivianâs hairpin, but they could not see what he wrote on
Sebastianâs palm before his last breath.
