Returning from the Dead: His Secret Lover Chapter 1270
âSebastian, you need to calm down!â
In the nick of time, Devin rushed over and stopped Sebastian from trying anything rash because he
knew it was an attempt of the woman to provoke Sebastian into killing her.
She knew she couldnât afford to be imprisoned by others. Therefore, she had to hit on the manâs sore
spot. In other words, it was Sashaâs pregnancy.
Since this vicious womanâs the one behind Sashaâs pregnancy, sheâs the only one capable of reversing
whateverâs done!
Devin tried to stop irrational Sebastian from going berserk, but he was too late.
Once Felicity figured out Devin had seen through her plan, she reached for the watch on her wrist and
ignite the portable device of hers.
Devin yelled with his eyes widened, âMove out of the office at once!â
He jumped aside with Sebastian in his arms immediately after he warned the rest to evacuate.
Bam!
A thunderous crack filled the scene shortly after the heavy blow sent some flying out of the window.
âH-Help me!â
Unable to run away in time, Grayson was blown away as well. Thankfully, he managed to hold on to
something in the nick of time.
The heavily injured man yelled for help when he was drenched in blood.
âHold on and try climbing up!â
Thankfully, Devin was around. He braced himself through the racking sensation and rushed to
Graysonâs rescue once he returned to his senses.
Meanwhile, it took Sebastian a few seconds to snap out of confusion. Once he sat upright, he surveyed
the surroundings and found out everything was in a mess.
There were casualties everywhere. A few of the armed forces he brought along seemed to have
passed out.
Unsure if they were still alive or not, he clenched his fist in angst.
âSebastian, are you fine?â Devin, who had returned after checking on the casualties, asked as he was
afraid something was wrong with Sebastian since his face was soaked in blood as well.
On top of that, there were wounds on his arms. Had Devin failed to jump aside with him in the nick of
time, he might end up like the unconscious ones around them.
âSebastian?â
After a short while, Sebastian muttered to himself, âWhat have I done?â
Devin wasnât sure if he was supposed to answer Sebastianâs query. In the end, he tried to bring him up
and sent someone to take him home.
All of a sudden, Sebastian rushed in the direction of the doctorâs office in spite of the mess. He started
searching high and low as if there was something he desperately needed.
âSebastian!â Unaware of the things Sebastian was up to, Devin went after him to ensure he was safe.
Sebastian wouldnât stop going through the pile of rubble when most of the documents, including the
computer, had been destroyed.
What is he looking for? Is he trying to get his hands on the outcome of the vicious womanâs hard work?
Instead of stopping him, Devin instructed the ones available to join Sebastian to acquire the things they
might need.
Sebastian had long foreseen Felicity committing suicide. Otherwise, he wouldnât have brought the
armed forces along with him.
Devin was glad they were well equipped with riot control equipment. That was precisely the reason the
damage was minimal.
Felicity was able to get the better of him because she had hit on his sore spot at the end of the
confrontation.
Sebastian spent quite some time trying to gather the information he needed. However, his effort was to
no avail since medical records of the patients of the hospital were the only things available.
Thereâs no way sheâs going to leave something as important as such here when sheâs here undercover!
I must have lost my mind!
Sebastian knew he needed to stop wasting his time. He fell into a vicious cycle of despair and
staggered.
âSebastianââ
Devin rushed over to his rescue and stopped him from falling.
âAre you okay? You need to calm down! Weâll try our luck somewhere else since thereâs no way sheâs
going to leave the things weâre looking for here!â
Is that really the case? Iâm afraid not because Eddie is on par with Sebastian in terms of intelligence!
On top of that, heâs way more experienced than us since heâs older than us!
Sebastian remained seated on the bench for a long time because he thought he was the one
accountable for the miseries of the ones he held dear.
Why am I even here? Have I turned a blind eye to whateverâs going on, are we going to live a blissful
life as a family of five at Miralaea? Why have I gotten myself and my family involved?
