The companies appear to do legitimate business but are actually involved in some illegal and criminal activities.” Lennon looked serious.“Just get to the point.”

Matthew replied, “Bruce works for Nikolas, and we recently found out that he was laundering money for Nikolas.”

Lennon’s became cold.“Did eyes you gather the evidence?”

Matthew looked down and replied, “We only have partial evidence of Bruce’s crimes. After laundering the money, he transferred it to an overseas account, whose holder was an unwitting person found by Nikolas. Currently, the evidence we have can only send Bruce to prison. Nikolas has limited influence in America and only relies on Bruce and his men. Although we haven’t had any evidence of Nikolas‘ crimes in America yet, he’ll lose his strongest support if Bruce’s in prison.”

“Do it now! Submit the evidence to the police and cooperate with them to arrest Bruce,” Lennon ordered coldly.

In early March, the renovation of Marie’s law firm was done.

She hired professionals to remove formaldehyde. After passing the test, she and Bryce bought a lot of office supplies, like desks, chairs, computers, stationery, and file folders.

Another partner joined the law firm besides Bryce. He was named Simon Brock, Bryce’s classmate and a criminal defense lawyer.
