Chapter 360 There was a loud bang.

Menu Nikolas kicked over the long table in front of him.

“Lennon, one day I’ll make you pay back double!”

Makhi stood by, observing Nikolas‘ expression and waiting for his anger to subside before daring to speak again.“Nikolas, there is some latest news about Mariela.”

Nikolas narrowed his eyes and asked, “What is it?”

Makhi opened the video and handed the phone over.“Our people tracked Mariela to a bar and caught this. Looks like she and Lennon really broke up.”

Nikolas took the phone and glanced at it, his eyes filled with disdain and contempt.

He sneered, “Stupid woman, all caught up in love.”

“So...”

“No need to keep tabs on her then. It’s just a piece of clothing Lennon lost and some old shoes he’s done with. Now I need people to do things, and I don’t have time to bother with her.”

“Okay, Nikolas.”

“By the way, Jaime called. He wants to meet you.”

“Who?”

Makhi replied, “Mariela’s ex–boyfriend.”

Nikolas tugged at his lips with contempt as he emphasized four words:“I don’t know him.”

Makhi explained, “Previously, Lauryn traded Lennon’s whereabouts and inside info on the Stark family for our investment. This investment later went to the Herman Group, which is now thriving and considered one of the top companies in the country. The Herman Group still holds value for us.”

Nikolas’s eyes flashed with disdain.“How useful can the people of that stupid Lauryn be? Just another stupid dog, that’s all.”

“Do you want to see him, Nikolas?”

“For a dog running to flatter me, I could take him out for a walk when I feel like it.”

Caylee safely took Mariela home and, after giving a few instructions to the live–in nanny, she went back home, feeling at ease.

Marie was lying in bed mumbling, while Lucy had just entered the kitchen to make a hangover soup when the doorbell rang. Lucy opened the door and was slightly surprised.“Mr. Stark, why are you here?”

“How is she?”

“Ms. Logan had drunk too much, and I was just about to make her a sobering soup.”

Lennon took out a little cash from his wallet. “You head out for the night. I’ll take care of her here.”

Lucy took the money and nodded.“Alright, Mr. Stark, please wait a moment. I’ll quickly tidy up a bit.” She stepped aside to let Lennon into the house.
