As The Secret Between US, gets closer and closer to 20k, I just wanted to take a moment to reflect and let you know why I write these books, why I created this universe, and what inspired me to do so.
I started writing about the Grayson family when I was just twelve years old.
An avid reader, I enjoyed a good teen romance or a fiction piece, but I could never truly relate to them because...everyone was straight.
No one thought outside the box and experimented with these things.
What if that princess who stole the ball is transgender? What if the man you fell in love with is asexual? What if you're gay?
So there was only one way to fix the problem and IÂ dedicated all my spare time to writing books I could relate to.
After a few years, I took a hiatus through high school before ending my first year of college and deciding I have enough life experience now, why not start writing.
And I wanted to share my works with others just like me who were also looking for novels they could relate to and people they could share their experiences with.
The very first book I wrote on here was titled JP. [It's still on Wattpad but it's filled with so many mistakes it's really embarrassing. However, I keep it on here because it shows my progress and where I've come]
After my twin sister came out as bisexual and was shunned, I wrote Dear Taehyung, in dedication to her. Making Pierce Grayson the written embodiment of her.
When my best friend of over ten years was going through a small depression, I wrote FREEDOM. Making Ash and Johnny the written embodiment of our relationship and realizing I wouldn't mind spending the rest of my life with her.
And I never stopped writing after that.
Taking my time connecting each novel together and writing about their children, Like Matty, and their children's children like Jaydean.
And I love writing this book. It's so much fun to share something I love with you guys. I remember back when I had 5 reads I would throw a small party but with almost 20K, I never thought it would be possible.
Now I'm a very open-minded, loving, author who appreciated each and every vote, view, and follow.
