Chapter 977
Leonardo turned to Cornelia and asked, âCornelia, did you hurt your hand?â
Cornelia glared at him. âLeonardo, can you just eat your meal?â
Leonardo responded, âI want to eat fish, but itâs so far away from me. Can you help me?â
Zack always had Corneliaâs back. He quickly forked a piece of fish and put it in Leonardoâs bowl, âLeonardo, eat up.â
Leonardo looked at the fish in his bowl with disgust, âYouâre a man. You used your fork to give me the fish. Thereâs your saliva on the fork, and it mustâve gotten on the fish. So, if I eat the fish, itâs like indirectly kissing you. Donât you find that disgusting?â
Zack replied, âOh so when itâs me doing it, itâs disgusting?â
Leonardo gave Zack a displeased look, ignored him, and picked up his fork to eat the vegetables.
Zack quickly pulled the plate over, âI made this dish.â
Leonardo responded, âNo wonder thereâs so much food on the table and this dish is the only one that looks unappetizing.â
Zack replied, âIf you donât want to eat it, why are you reaching for it?â
Leonardo responded, âYou should stop cooking. Youâre wasting good ingredients.â
Zack replied, âSomeone who canât even peel garlic has no right to say that.â
Leonardo responded, âI have servants at home. Whether I can peel garlic or not doesnât affect my quality of life. But itâs different for you. you need to cook for yourself. If you cook badly, it affects your quality of life.â
Zack replied. âAre you showing off your wealth? But is the money you have earned by yourself? Youâre just luckier than me. If we compare abilities, are you better than me?â
Leonardo responded, âAre you suggesting that Iâm not as capable as you? Mr. Ruck, youâre overestimating yourself. Do you know which university I graduated from?â
Zack replied, âYou paid for your education, what does that have to do with your abilities?â
Leonardo responded, âAre you picking a fight?â
Zack replied, âArenât you the one picking a fight?â
Their argument intensified, looking like it might escalate to a fight, but everyone else at the table continued eating, unaffected.
Then, the arguing pair stopped, each fuming and staring at the person they cared about.
Zack said to Cornelia, âCornelia, someoneâs bullying me and youâre not helping. Iâm disappointed in you!â
Leonardo said to Marcus, âMarc, someoneâs bullying me and youâre not doing anything. Iâm very disappointed in you! Very!â
Marcus continued to serve Cornelia food, ignoring Leonardo.
After finishing the fish Marcus gave for her, Cornelia finally looked up at the two men, âAre you two planning to go into showbiz?â
Zack fell silent. He knew it. Nelly was smart and quick. She could tell at a glance that he and Leonardo were picking a fight on purpose,
Leonardo wouldnât admit it, âWhat? I could smash his head right now.â
Cornelia said, âGo ahead, do it. If you donât smash his head, Iâll look down on youâ
Faced with Corneliaâs defiant attitude, Leonardo looked at Marcus. It was clear that Marcus would protect his wife.
So, Leonardo turned to Granny Luisa for help, âGranny Luisa, look at her. She always bullies me.â
Granny Luisa was partial to her own, âNelly is beautiful, generous, gentle, and kind. How could she bully you? If she really bullied you, you mustâve done something wrong and deserve to be punished.â
