Zack was speechless, “You just admitted she’s smelly, who’d want to kiss her?”

Comelia also chimed in, “Are you implying you’re any sweeter?”

Abigail shot back. “Smelly Nelly is actually quite fragrant. You’re the stinky one, you smelly man!”

At the mention of ‘smelly man, Comelia was reminded of Marcus and his entanglement with Natalia.

After some thought she asked, “Zack, I have a question about you men. I need an honest answer, no hiding”

Seeing Comelia’s serious expression, Zack and Abigail immediately wiped off their smiles and stared back at her seriously.

Zack replied, “Shoot”

Abigail leaned in close, both of them staring at Zack. Feeling uncomfortable under their intense gaze, Zack instinctively stepped back, “Just ask the question, no need to look at me like that. It’s creeping me out!”

Comelia moved closer, “People say that woman outside is more attractive than a man’s own wife, and there’s no man who doesn’t cheat. What do you think about that?”

Zack asked, “Are you asking if I think other girls are prettier than you two?”

Comelia glared at him and said, “I want to know. Do men always think other women are better, no matter how beautiful, gentle, and virtuous their wife is?”

Zack jumped up excitedly. “Did your boyfriend cheat on you? He’s cheating but still on’t leave you alone? Tell me where he is, I’ll make sure he can’t do this anymore”

Comelia was taken aback by Zack’s reaction and quickly reassured him, “Not my boyfriend, he would never cheat on me.”

Abigail asked what Zack had been wondering. “Then why bring it up all of a suddent’s scary!”

Cornelia hesitated and admitted. “I saw a married man with another woman.”

Zack and Abigail asked in unison, “Who?”

Cornelia replied, “You don’t know him. He always seemed to adore his wife. I couldn’t believe what I was seeing. So I wanted to ask Zack, do you guys always have other women, no matter how much you love your wife?”

Zack instantly pointed out, “Marcus is cheating?”

Cornelia was taken aback. She hadn’t explicitly mentioned Marcus, how did Zack guess?

She quickly shook her head, “Not Marcus, it’s not him. How could it be him?”

But her denial didn’t help.

Zack was certain she was talking about Marcus, “I knew Marcus was no good from the start. He’s got a wife and he’s still trying to hook up with you”

Annoyed, Cornelia smacked Zack’s head, “I told you, it’s not him. He’s never had those intentions toward me.”

Zack retorted, “I’m a guy. I understand men’s thoughts better than you do.”

Comelia was silent for a moment. In truth, she had felt before that Marcus might be interested in her. But between her intuition and Marcus’s explanation, she chose to believe Marcus.

Abigail asked, “Then who is it?”

Cornelia replied, “The boss of one of our partners.”

Abigail asked, “Really?”

Cornelia nodded firmly, “Yes.”
