Chapter 1451
Nobody could force him but he had his own worries. Some things, Steven just couldnât spit out.
Pandora asked again, âSteven, are you thinking of remarrying Hannah?â
Steven nodded. âYeah.â
Pandora stared at him, and then stared some more, unable to believe what she was hearing. âYou sure about this?â
Steven only replied with one word, âYeah.â

Pandora said, âYouâre the one who wanted the divorce, and now youâre the one who wants to remarry. Steven, have you ever treated my Hannah as a person?â
Thinking about how her daughter had been treated, Pandoraâs eyes turned red. âI know the Dixon family is loaded, and while we may be poor, no matter how poor we are, Hannah is our cherished little girl. No matter how poor we are, Hannah has always had everything she wanted. Before she came to you, we were never treated with such disrespect.â
Steven said, âI know.â
Pandora said, âWhat do you know?â
Steven fell silent. Before, for the sake of her daughter, Pandora had always spoken gently to Steven. They had only met a few times over the years, and she had never had harsh words for him.
But today, Pandora was truly pissed off. She didnât just hit him, she berated him.
Pandora continued, âLet me tell you, once Hannahâs leg heals, weâll take her away from Harbor City. Please donât bother her anymore, and let her live the life she wants.â
Thinking about someone trying to take Hannah away from him, Stevenâs eyes darkened. âI wonât let anyone take my Hannah away from
me.â
Pandora scoffed, âYours? Do you think Hannah is still your property? True, I admit that Hannah was with you before to help pay for her fatherâs medical bills, but what sheâs gone through over the years is enough.â
Steven didnât explain, he just said, âI will remarry her.â
Stevenâs stubbornness put Pandora in a tough spot. âSteven, isnât the best way to handle a divorce is to cut all ties, never to meet again? I donât understand, why are you still sticking to Hannah? If you think Hannah owes you money, we can pay it back for her, just please, leave her alone.â
Steven said, âItâs not about money.â
Pandora asked, âWhat is it that you want then?â
Steven said, âI only want Hannah, but she doesnât remember me now, so I hope you can help her remember. No matter the cost, I want her to remember me.â
Pandora said, âYouâre out of your mind!â
In the hospital room.
Jeo held Hannahâs hand, heartbroken. âHannah, I am sorry. If it werenât for my sickness, you wouldnât be like this.â
Hannah said, âDad, what are you talking about?â
Jéo said, âYour mom told me everything about you and Steven. You married him to pay for my medical bills.â
Hannah shook her head. âDad, itâs not like that.â Back then, marrying Steven was partly for the money, but more importantly, it was because she liked Steven.
Jeo, wiping his tears, said, âIâve got it all figured out. Donât let yourself suffer anymore. If I hadnât gotten sick, you wouldnât have had to suffer with Steven.â
Hannah replied, âDad, Iâve already told you itâs not because of you, why wonât you believe me?â
Jeo gently stroked her head. âMy little girl.â
Hannah didnât want to discuss this any further, so she changed the subject. âDad, howâs your health lately?â
