Dylan, feeling left out, parked his car and quickly walked up to Abigail, ‘Hello, Abigaill

Abigail, caught off guard finally remembered meeting him a few days before. “Hello, Dylan!”

Dylan stretched out his hand to Abigail, “Pleasure to meet you!”

Abigail didn’t really want to engage with him, but his enthusiasm compelled her to reciprocate the handshake. But Dylan didn’t let go of her hand, “Abigail

Abigail quickly withdrew her hand, “Have you had lunch yet? If not, perhaps you can join us ”

She was only being polite, but Dylan actually accepted, ‘Well, if you insist

They all entered the residential area, heading towards the building where Abigail lived.

Guessing Dylan might be into her, she cut him off before he said something she didn’t want to hear, “Dylan, you look pretty young. Got a girlfriend?”

Abigail “Can I set you up?”

Dylan, “I have many girls chasing me, but I haven’t met the right one yet. If it’s you, I might consider”

Abigail, “I already have a boyfriend I was thinking of introducing you to my cousin. She just graduated from college and she’s pretty Would you like me to put you in touch?” Dylan, “I’m almost thirty, it wouldn’t be appropriate for me to pursue a fresh graduate

Dylan politely declined, but his message was clear to Abigail, “Well then, I hope you find the girl of your dreams soon.”

Dylan looked at Abigail and laughed, “Actually, I’ve already met her, but she turned me down.”

The implication of his words was too obvious, so Abigail played dumb, “Cornelia, President Hartley should care more about his employees. He’s married but doesn’t care whether his employees are”

Cornelia, ‘Which company meddles in their employees‘ love lives? Did your boyfriend leave?”

Abigail, “He has work to do. He’s already back in Riverton.”

Dylan, “Abigail, are things going well between you and your boyfriend?”

Abigail, “We’ve met each other’s parents and they’re all happy. We’re planning on getting married this year.”

Dylan, “You’re still young, there’s no need to rush into marriage.”

Cornelia suddenly chimed in, “Are you trying to steal Abby away?”

“I am, actually. But I need Abby to give me a chance,” Dylan, looking at Abigail with determination in his eyes. “Abigail, I’m thirty this year, the head of the Hartley Group Rosenberg branch, and I earn a hefty salary I’m an orphan, so if you marry me, you won’t have to worry about complex family relations. I’m a really good catch. Think about marrying me.”

Nobody expected Dylan to be so straightforward about his intentions.
