JASON
Kara began to pace back and forth, probably thinking of everything that was wrong with this situation. I tried not to laugh at her while she ran a hand through her dark brown hair.
God, her hair looked so soft and silky.
âCalm down, Kara,â Q attempted, but she ignored him. I found the situation highly amusing.
Kara had no clue about anything that was going on, but, of course, once she found out, one of us was going to pay the price.
Iâm sure she was capable of getting away with murder.
âIâve got an idea.â Charlie turned to his frightened sister. âQ and I will go back to the town a few miles away and get a tow truck. Stay here with Jason.â
Her eyes bulged out of her head, and she looked ready to rip his head off.
âYouâre leaving me here? In the middle of nowhere? With him?â Kara overreacted. I wasnât that bad to be around.
Charlie rolled his eyes. âYes, calm down. If anything happens, Iâm sure Jason can fight them off.â She stood and thought to herself for a moment.
I could definitely kick anyoneâs ass in a heartbeatâso long as they didnât have any weapons. That was a whole different story.
Kara let out a sigh, defeated, and glanced back at Charlie. âIf anything happens to me, I will come back just to murder you.â She glowered at him, and I burst out laughing, not being able to hold it in any longer.
âJust tell her already.â
Kara narrowed her eyes at me, and then at Charlie. âTell me what?â I stood up straight, preparing for her reaction. Kara had a wild temper, but I loved to see what she would say and do. It turned me on.
That would be the death of me one day.
Right now, one of us was going to have to deal with her wrath, and I was hoping it would be her brother.
âGuess who just got pranked?â Charlie grinned widely, and Karaâs jaw hit the floor. âWe set you up.â The three of us stared at Kara, who was frozen in place. Her pink lips were parted due to the shock.
After a minute, she finally reacted, causing Charlie to yell in pain. Q and I winced.
âYouâre such an asshole!â Kara stood over Charlie, who was on the ground clutching his dick. I reminded myself to never piss her off ~that~ badly.
âHowâd you do it?â She glowered at Quintin, who looked uneasy. He held his arms above his head, claiming his truce.
âWhen we stopped for Jason to go to the bathroom, Liam drove ahead so he and Milo could set up the metal on the road. Charlie does have a spare tire, though,â the frightened guy explained.
Kara shook her head and kicked Charlie once he stood up.
âOw! Stop!â
âYou shouldâve thought about that before you pissed me off! You ~wasted~ an entire tire just for a stupid prank?â
Karaâs fiery eyes glared around at the three of us. I almost fell back in alarm. Why did she have to look ~so fucking~ hot when sheâs mad? Itâs part of the reason that I liked to mess with her.
âTo be fair, my tire had already popped on the way back home from college. It had a ~temporary~ tire that would last fifty miles max, so I had to change my tire anyway.â
âI just thought if I have to get rid of the tire, I might as well get some fun out of it,â Charlie explained to Kara as her heated gaze landed on me.
I raised my hands in surrender, holding back my amusement. âIt was all Quintin and Charles here.â I heard Charlie cuss at me. I tried not to show any emotion.
âBut you knew.â Kara took a step forward, making my dick twitch. Brown eyes held mine, momentarily mesmerizing me. I almost got too caught up watching her body sway toward me.
Fuck. ~Please donât get a boner.~
âSo did Q,â I retorted, now face-to-face with her. Karaâs scent wafted toward me, and I caught the smell of mango and vanilla, almost humming in pleasure.
My gaze remained on her face so I wouldnât cause a sudden outburst.
âQ doesnât like to mess with me for his own amusement.â
Her eyebrow cocked, challenging me. In more than one way, but she didnât know that. I took a step back, instantly regretting it. The back of my foot caught onto a rock, causing me to tumble backward.
I reached for Kara, hoping Iâd find support, but instead my grip was too strong, and she fell with me.
Luckily, she landed right on top, straddling me. Kara leaned up, hovering over me.
Fuck, she looked good on top of me.
âAre youâ~seriously~? Every time!â Charlie was standing behind Kara, glaring down at the scene before him. Charlie looked away in exasperation, causing me to grin at his reaction.
âHe always seems to find us in this compromising position. I think itâs a sign.â Not that I minded at all. In fact, I loved fate for always putting us in this position.
It was definitely a sign.
Kara rolled her eyes and tried to get up, but I grabbed her hips, pushing her heat down against me. She gasped.
âIs thatââ I tried not to laugh at her shocked expression. Feeling her grind down against my dick was ~heaven~. The things I would do to this girl.
âYou canât blame me.â I could see the lust lurking within her eyes. She liked it too. Kara pushed herself off and stood up, completely ignoring me.
âItâs small.â The feisty brunette coughed.
âWe both know thatâs a lie,â I whispered, my lips forming into a cocky smirk, proud of my quick reaction. Kara scowled at me before walking back over to Q and Charlie, who had begun to switch tires.

The car came to a stop. Kara jumped out, only to be tackled by two excited girls. They began whispering to themselves.
âMan, she really kicked your ass.â I laughed at Charlie, who was walking funny. Liam and Milo came up to us just as I finished the sentence.
âHowâd it go?â Milo asked while grinning at Charlieâs obvious state of pain.
âLetâs just say I give blue balls a new definition,â Charlie winced.
âIt kind of backfired,â Q replied, giving them a small shrug. I was just glad that it wasnât me who got kicked. She hits pretty hardânot that Iâd ever give her the satisfaction of knowing that.
âDonât worry. Weâll get them all tonight,â Liam said, looking over at the girls, who were still huddled together, smiling.
âWhoâs up for some swimming?â Charlie shouted over at them, and they grinned back innocently, giving us a few excited shouts. âDonât give away anything, all right?â Charlie lowered his voice.
âOur rooms are on the main level. The girls are staying on the second floor,â Liam explained to Q and me.
My body turned to face the other way and my eyes spotted the fairly large cabin down the gravel path. The green forest around us provided a relaxing and beautiful scene. Birds chirped above us.
I enjoyed the cool breeze on such a humid day.
âIâll race you,â Quintin challenged, and I sent him a wicked grin before sprinting down the path. âYou littleââ
It wasnât long before I heard his footsteps slam down against the gravel, but he was too far back to catch up to me.
When I reached the cabin, I ran in quickly and locked him out. âHey, open the door!â Q loudly banged against the wooden door.
âPassword?â My laughter only caused Q to cuss at me. He pounded against the door harder, causing me to bend over laughing.
âKara, do you guys have another way in?â As soon as I heard her name, I swung the door wide open. My eyebrows furrowed when I didnât see her, only a smirking Quintin, who shoved me back into the cabin.
âOf course youâd open the door for her.â Q scowled and walked past me into the living room area. We walked past furniture covered in plastic and into our designated room.
âNo,â I replied, pretending that I wasnât affected, but deep down I was. Q was the only person I could really talk to about Kara.
âSure.â He gave me a smile that said ~I donât believe you~.
âWhatâs that supposed to mean?â My eyebrow quirked, and I threw my bags on a random bed, waiting for his answer.
The bed was firm and stiff, not providing any comfort. Unzipping my bag, I began to unpack while waiting for his reply.
âYou ~like~ her.â
My head bobbed up and down. âI like the things she does to me,â I replied coolly.
Q shook his head. âNo, you ~like~ like her.â
I stared at him, not knowing how to react.
Before I could respond, Q continued, âUsually I do hear all those details. But when you talk about ~her~, I get to hear all about what Kara likes, and what Kara did, and the way Kara wore your jersey to your game.â
âFuck,â I mumbled. Q grinned, knowing he got me. I did really like her. It was different with Kara.
Sarah was only my girlfriend because I felt like it was something expectedâthe football player and the dancing queenâbut I hated every moment of it. I was glad that it hadnât lasted long.
Meeting Kara had changed me. Weâd formed a strange friendship. âI donât even know, man,â I finally replied.
âGive it a chance.â Q gave me an encouraging smile. A loud, giggling shriek interrupted us. Something in his face quickly changed. âDo you think Jess would go for me?â
I gave him a blank stare before bursting out laughing. He looked so fidgety, like a middle-school boy whoâs never spoken to a girl before. âGive it a chance.â I mimicked his words to him, causing Q to roll his eyes.
Qâs never really shown interest in dating before, so it was a surprise to me. His main focus had always been football.
âJust be yourself,â I answered back. âIn fact, letâs go swimming.â Q and I grinned in agreement and began getting ready to go for our swim.
~Please God, let me see Kara in a bikini.~
~***~
âHurry up!â Q yelled back at Charlie. We changed ten minutes ago, but had to wait for Charlie so he wouldnât be the last one. Liam and Milo were already there with the girls.
âAll right, Iâm ready.â Charlie walked out from his room, and we followed him out the door.
âWatch out for the big rocks. It hurts a lot more than you think when you step on them,â he warned as he began to take us down a heavily wooded path.
âBet it didnât hurt as much as it did when Kara kicked you.â I grinned along with Q. Charlie scowled, telling us to shut up.
âIâll get her to kick your ass too.â Charlie glanced back at me and grinned at my sour face. Been there and never want to go back.
Laughter filled my ears, telling me that we were close. We walked down a hill near a cliff, and I saw the shore of the lake.
It was a beautiful view, but thatâs not what took my breath away.
It was Kara, who happened to be in a black bikini.
âGod loves me!â I shouted without thinking, and both guys turned to stare at me. As we got closer to them, I couldnât stop staring at Karaâs amazing body.
âStop staring at my sister like youâre about to devour her.â Charlie hit the back of my head to snap me out of it.
âI just might.â I grinned back and dodged the punch he threw at me.
If only he knew.
I ran toward the group with Charlie right on my ass. My eyes met Kara, who was staring at me with a certain look of her own. My lips formed into a smirk, knowing exactly what was going through her mind.
âLike what you see?â Kara snapped out of whatever trance she was in, and her large brown eyes widened when she realized sheâd been caught in the act.
âStill trying to find out what Iâm looking at.â She tilted her head at me, pretending to think, and I let out a throaty laugh. I loved the fact that she always had a comeback, no matter what. God, it turned me on.
I opened my mouth to reply, but an arm swung around my neck.
âI came to see if you guys want to play chicken? Jess and I will totally kick your ass,â my lovestruck friend teased. I smiled to myself, happy that he worked up the courage to talk to her with confidence.
âSure, Iâm in. Just so I can personally kick your ass.â Kara smiled at Quintin, who looked thrown off for a minute before cracking a smile.
âIs that a challenge?â
âNo.â Kara shook her head at him, allowing her long brown hair to flow freely. I stared at the beautiful girl in admiration while she faced Q. âItâs a promise.â
