Ashley's Pov.
"Shit!" I curse as I run around my room looking for the my other shoe.
I check under my cupboard. Ha! Found you you piece of shit.
I check the time, 8:57 AM. I have exactly three minutes to get to work.
Yep I overslept.
I rush downstairs and grab my car keys running out like a maniac. I try unlocking my car and I swear it's like I have been put into one of those movies where the main character tries to run from the murderer but can't get her car to open.
"Like seriously man, I'm not even close to the main character please let me in." I beg to my car as if its going to respond.
As if it heard me it unlocks and I swing the door wide open jumping in.
8:59 AM.
I actually feel like I'm in some horror movie.
Work is 10 minutes from here so I am pretty sure I'll not make it on time but I'll still put my heart to it.
Positivity right?

So I ended up stopping by at Starbucks to get some coffee. I figured I was already late so it wouldn't make that much of a difference.
So I'm doing the best thing I can which is drinking coffee while stressing out about work.
I am actually petrified right now and that, ladies and gentlemen is why I am driving really fast while drinking coffee.
It is currently 9:17 AM and I finally reached the cafe.
I ran inside not wanting to be any later than I already am only to be welcomed by my fellow waiter.
"Hey Ash!" Xavier, my friend who also works here says.
"Hi Xav, I hope I'm not too late." I say with a hopeful smile.
"Late? What do you mean late Ash, the time you have to be here on weekends is normally 9:30, I always thought you liked to come in early but I guess you just have short memory loss." He laughs.
"So you're telling me, I almost had a panic attack for nothing?!"
"Yes."
I am going to actually kill myself I mean how dumb can a person actually be?
"Damn the cafe is full today, better get to work since I'm already here." I sigh.
I go to the back area lounge where workers and staff normally keep their items and rest.
I put on my apron and prepare myself mentally for all the Karen's out there. I grab my notepad and off I go.

"Ma'am the chicken is cooked well." I explain to my new friend, Karen.
"Then what the hell is this red goo?" This middle aged woman says pointing to the reddish liquid.
Your period bitch what do you think it is?
"I am sorry but I cannot help you there." I say.
"I would like to speak with the manager!" She says right as I'm about to walk away.
"Okay one sec I'll bring the manager." I say mockingly.
I go to the lounge for about 2 minutes before walking back to the table.
"You called for me?" I ask.
"You are not the manager!"
"Oh no I'm not Karen, but this isn't some office so if you need something talk to me." I say.
Her face turns red as her body is filled with rage and I mentally laugh at that.
"This Cafe sucks! I'll be leaving a 1 star!" She begins walking away.
I begin laughing as I go back to the lounge area.
"That was so badass." Xavier says.
"I know right? She deserved it." I say, "She could have tried being polite but no, serves her well anyways."
He shakes his head in response as I remove my apron.
"Well that's my shift for today, I'm heading home now, bye Xav."
"Bye Ashy." He says before pulling me into a hug.
I love Xavier so much! He has helped me out so much with everything and he is one of the very few people who knows about my parents.
We pull away from the hug and I grab my stuff and go to my car.
I decide on driving to Tylers House as I'm free for the rest of the day.
I put on The Weeknd and immediately my thoughts drift to when Aaron and I were singing along to the songs.
I still can't believe I had never really talked to him before.

"Hey, give that back!" I say trying to reach the embarrassing photo Tyler was trying to take a picture of.
"I swear to god Ty if you post it I will murder you." I attempt to sound threatening but fail miserably.
"Oh my I'm so scared!" He says sarcastically.
"I'm not joking Ty." I glare at him.
"Alright chill I won't post it unless you give me a kiss." He smirks.
I could've sworn right there and then my heart stopped for a hot second.
"Chill I'm just joking, you look like you have seen a ghost." He laughs.
Ofcourse everything is a fucking joke to him.
I finally snatch the photo away and keep it away in my bag.
"Um I'll get going now, it's really late and we have school tomorrow so see ya!" I say in a cheerful mood although on the inside I'm anything but.
"Okay bye Ash."
I hug him before leaving. I am considering the fake dating abit more now, it might be useless if he doesn't like me at all but still worth a try.
I sigh before unlocking my car and driving home.
When I arrive, I quickly park my car on the sideway and get out. I take my keys out while walking to the door. I unlock it and the door creaks, I cringe at the noise while trying my best to close it silently.
I check the living room, same as yesterday. I'll just clean it up tomorrow, I'm too tired right now.
I go upstairs and lay on my bed peacefully reading wattpad until I hear a thud on the window.
Oh shit, is my nightmare of getting kidnapped coming true?
I quickly run to window and look all around, no-one.
My confusion is cleared when I see a light flashing from the room right opposite mine which is Aaron's.
Oh for fucks sake.
'What?' I mouth.
'Hi!' He mouths back.
I send him a glare, 'I'm bored ok? You don't have to go all scary on me.' He rolls his eyes.
'Dude, you scared me!' I whisper shout.
'Okay what is it with you and getting scared of me? I'm not that intimidating am I Lee?' He shouts back.
'You are unbelievable! I'm going back.' I mouth.
'Okay wait sorry!'
'I'm giving you two minutes.' I declare.
'Okay, have you thought about it? Cause like I already told my mother I have a girlfriend and she wants to meet her on Tuesday.' He sends a pleading look.
'I'm sure you can find another girl Roni boy.' I tease, 'But I am considering it so I'll let you know tomorrow. Now goodnight.' I close my curtains not letting him respond.

This chapter is abit weird but I hope you still like it because I had much fun writing it.
The ending may or may not make sense but i didn't wanna make the ending her sleeping again so yeah I just ended it like that.
I like how the story is so far, nothing seems rushed in my opinion and I love Ashley so much. Even though she gets neglected, she never shows it and that's something I just love about her.
Also thoughts on Xavier?
