I wake up to get ready for the office. I'm already late today and I can't neither make breakfast today nor eat the breakfast. So I left as soon as possible.
I was wearing my shoes when Steven came down. I looked at him.
"Don't look at me", He warned.
"You said not to talk. And it's my fuckin eyes", I said. "And I'm going, I'll be late".
I said and left.
Steven's pov:
Leaving me is so easy for this girl but why it's hard for me? Why I waited her to go first? I should have gone first for my work. What actually happened to me?
I went to shoot where Anna was waiting for me. She does nothing but help me in my shooting.
"Hey baby", Says Anna with her baby tone. I don't know why suddenly all becomes too irritating to me. Her voice also.
"Please Anna, I'm not in a good mood"
"Okay, after this.. I'll make your mood, don't worry",
"No need Anna!"
I was so exhausted during the shoot. I keep forgetting my lines and I misconducted with the spot boys too. I ran my fingers in my hair in frustration. Maybe she's doing fine. Obviously she doesn't care huh.
Elle's pov:
"So, is that what happened?", Kate asked.
"Yes Kate. I don't know why suddenly losing Steven is scary. Like first time I'm caring about losing someone. Last night, I pleaded for some warmth, I pleaded some place in his blanket"
"Elle. You love him"
"Don't mention love. I don't bro"
"You fucking do",
"Go and do your work", I said as i focused on my laptop, ignoring her. She sighed and went. Really, what is love? What it feels like? But as far as I know, one sided love doesn't work so if I even love him, I should stop doing it. Ahh! I'm so confused about these all. Why I did that shit that night? This is so annoying.
I got some messages from Lee.
"You okay? I'm sorry I left like that but actually, he's your husband so I haven't any right on you"
" Right? Then why you said that you don't care about him? You're just afraid to keep this relationship with me", I replied.
"Sorry Elle"
Sorry? Is that all he has to say? Huh. All men are jerk. A heartless jerk. But Steven... He's also a jerk. Huh! This Lee kissed me like a dog. He left a hickey on my collarbone. Thanks to my hair that it isn't visible.
I left for home. I jumped on the sofa and grabbed some snacks from the kitchen and a cold drink. Netflix? No. What about, some kdramas? But it only makes me cry. I haven't anything to do. Let's wait here untill Steven comes. Atleast I can see his face and irritate him a little bit. I lay on the sofa, staring at the wall. I ended up falling asleep.
Steven's pov:
I entered my house and saw her sleeping peacefully on the sofa. Yes, after breaking my heart she has found peace and now this girl is sleeping without any tension. I gently shook her. But she grabbed me closer to her and hugged me in sleep. She snored which made me chuckle. No no, she's so good at showing cuteness. I lift her in my arms and made her sleep on the bed. I looked at her. She was sleeping like a baby. And me? I can't even breathe properly, don't know why.
Elle's pov:
I opened my eyes slightly and saw Steven beside me. He was on a call.
"Okay then. Thank you", he said as he cut the call. He turned around. Ouh? Anger? I grabbed his collar.
"What?", He says angrily.
"Turn towards me"
"What if I won't?"
"Turn naaaa!"
He turned as I said, giving me his full attention.
"Hm what now?"
"You're still angry?"
"Yes I'm"
"So tell me, what should I do to reduce your anger?"
"Oh? Didn't you remember that I'd be angry when you kissed him? "
"But he kissed me first"
"I don't care who kissed whom first"
He noticed the hickey near my throat.
"Oh a love bite?", He says. "So bad Elle"
He was turning back to the other side but I grabbed him.
"I'm sorry please"
"It's too late"
We both looked into each other's eyes. But this time I saw the pain in his eyes. Why? Why is Steven so upset about this? We have no relationship. So why is Steven so angry?
"Elle. Why you did that?"
"Did what?"
"Kissed him"
"Why you care"
"I care. But I won't from now"
"Steven, I'm sorry"
"It's too late"
