“Brother was busy, so he left after having lunch with me…”

Huaili pursed his lips, upset, but soon his smile brightened again. “But then sister came, and I was very happy.”

“When will your brother come back?” Yunsha asked.

Huaili’s gaze was a little strange, and he said with a conflicted expression, “You’re so concerned about my brother… do you like him?”

Yunsha sputtered, her forehead full of wrinkles. She quickly shook her head and denied, “No.”

“Sister, you don’t have to be embarrassed.” Huaili’s face was full of seriousness. He looked at her without blinking and said, “My brother is very popular. There are many people who like him, but I will feel nervous in front of him. I may not be able to help you with him…”

“Brother, this is the child I saved that day, Fang Huaili,” Yun Sha introduced the kid.

Ci Yanfeng simply nodded. He was not interested in children.

Fang Huaili hugged Yunsha’s neck and smiled shyly. However, he did not speak to Ci Yanfeng, nor did he call him brother.

Ci Yanfeng said, “Let’s go.”

Yunsha looked at the little guy apologetically. Just as she was about to put him down, he hugged her neck tightly and begged, “Can I stay at sister’s house for a night?”

Fang Huaili’s eyes immediately became watery and he looked extremely pitiful.

Yunsha was caught in the middle and felt a little awkward. She asked, “Is your brother not coming to accompany you tonight?”

Although there were two other patients in the ward, they only came for treatment every day and left. They did not sleep here at night.

Yunsha looked at Ci Yanfeng and wanted to say something but stopped herself.

Huaili also looked at him with a sorrowful expression.

“Since my sister likes you, I’ll bring you along.” Ci Yanfeng said coldly, “But you have to sleep at my place tonight. You can’t share a room with my sister.”

Huaili hesitated for a moment before nodding. “Okay.”

Huaili used Yunsha’s cell phone to make a call and turned on the speakerphone. After the call was picked up, a clear and indifferent voice was heard. “Hello.”

Yunsha recognized that it was the voice of a thousand miles away.

Fang Huaili called out, “Brother.”

The tone on the other end of the phone was so calm that it was as if he was talking to a stranger instead of his own family.. “What’s the matter?”
