Rosaâs Mental Problem âNathan, youâre also her grandson, and the eldest one. Why didnât your grandmother think about handing over the company to you? Youâre here helping Nikita speak up for herself. If you were as cunning as she is, you wouldnât be left with nothing!â
Nikita furrowed his brows again. âItâs not like that. The money belongs to Grandma, and she can give it to whomever she wishes.â
Margot glared at him discontentedly. âDo you know how big your grandmotherâs business is? Do you know how much money she has? Can she just give her money to whoever she wants? Anyway, I wonât let her give it to Nikita. Sheâs confused right now and doesnât know what sheâs doing. Iâll come to the hospital every day to take care of your grandmother. I have to keep an eye on her so she doesnât do anything foolish.â
Most importantly, she must stop Nikita from getting an opening.
Margot believed that Nikita would definitely come to the hospital again to manipulate Cathleen. She had to keep a close eye on Cathleen.
After leaving Cathleenâs ward, Nikita walked out of the hospital building and saw a crowd of people sitting in the green area downstairs.
Cathleen was staying in the VIP ward, and everything here was like a vacation resort, with large trees and flowers planted downstairs, as well as artificial streams and pavilions. It was a good place to relax and unwind during normal times.
Nikita was originally just glancing at the side when she saw a familiar figure.
She squinted her eyes and stopped walking.
She stared at the familiar figure for a while, then looked away, but suddenly heard a voice from beside her.
âNikita?â
The manâs voice seemed uncertain.
Nikita turned her head and saw Corley standing behind her.
âItâs really you.â Corley looked at her, his gaze flickering a few times. After a few seconds of silence, he said with a complicated expression, âAre you here to see your grandmother?â
Cathleen was in a car accident, and Corley came to the hospital to see her.
Nikita nodded. âYeah.â
âIâm here to see my grandmother too.â Corley pursed his lips. He looked past Nikita and towards Rosa, who was standing not far away. After a few seconds of silence, he said in a low voice, âDid you see Rosa? Her situation isnât very good right now.â
Nikita glanced at him but didnât say anything.
Of course, she noticed that Rosa wasnât right.
When she saw Rosa just now, Rosa also looked up at her, but her reaction was very calm. There was no ripple in her eyes, as if she was looking at a stranger.
Moreover, Nikita could tell that Rosa wasnât pretending.
She wasnât interested in any of this, though.
What happened to Rosa had nothing to do with her.
Seeing that Nikita didnât speak, Corley continued, âRosa doesnât remember anything now. She doesnât even recognize anyone from the Garrett family.â
âShe has even forgotten her own name.â
âMoreover, her intelligence seems to have been affected, and sheâs exhibiting many abnormal behaviors.â
âThe doctor said that her condition may have been caused by a blow to the head, or it may be something she chose to forget. And, itâs possible that she may never remember her past again.â
âOh, really?â Nikita was still very indifferent.
âNikita, Rosa doesnât remember anything now, and she wonât affect you and Sheehan in the future. Can you give her a break?â Corley hesitated for a moment, then smiled bitterly and said, âWhen she recovers, Iâll send her abroad.
She wonât come back.â
