The four kids checked every room on the second floor before they set their eyes on the room opposite the master bedroom.
âThe door is locked from the inside. This should be it,â said Juan.
âYes, I think so, too,â replied Nina as she crossed her arms. Her expression was evil when she glared at the door.
âLetâs slam on the door,â suggested Maya.
Nina nodded. She acted like the proud owner of the house when she reached out and slammed on the door.
Nicole was sleeping inside the room when she was woken up by a series of loud bangs on the door.
She rubbed her sleepy eyes and got up to open the door. Just before she did so, she heard her children talking on the other side of the door.
âWhy isnât she opening the door?â asked Maya.
âShe must be too afraid to come face us,â scoffed Nina, âWatch and learn.â
After saying her piece, Nina shouted at the top of her lungs, âOpen the door! I know youâre in there, you home wrecker. Open up!â
Homewrecker? Wow, this really is a strange world. I never thought Iâd live to see the day my daughter calls me a home wreckerâ¦
Nicole sighed deeply.
âWhy arenât you opening the door? Iâm telling you right now. My daddy is not home, and you are at our mercy. We can get in even if you keep the door closed, and we will drag you out of there, you home wrecker!â growled Nina angrily.
âExactly! Our parents are madly in love and are meant to be together. Donât bother trying to seduce my daddy!â shouted Maya.
âYou must have some tricks up your sleeves. That is the only reason you manage to move into the house, but it wonât matter how good your tricks are. You wonât be staying here! My siblings and I are masters in vanquishing vixens like you,â scolded Nina evilly.
âThe Imperial Garden belongs to my mommy, and home wreckers are not allowed here,â yelled Maya as well.
Nicole didnât know what to say.
She was genuinely happy that her kids were fighting so hard to protect her. But I canât let them continue causing a racket here, either. What do I do? How do I get them to leave?
The quadruplets were weirded out about the lack of reaction from the other side of the locked door.
âThis home wrecker really can hold it together. Weâve insulted her to this extent, but sheâs still not coming out. Should we just pick the lock?â
âI guess thatâs the only way.â
Pick the lock? Given Juanâs skills, picking this lock will be nothing to him. The door will definitely be opened if they actually attacked, and I-I am in no condition to see them.
Nicole thought for a moment before inspiration struck. She changed her voice and replied, âYou misunderstood. I am not a home wrecker. I am your fatherâs doctor.â
Juan blurted, âA doctor? Okay, open the door. Letâs chat.â
Maya agreed, âHeâs right. Open the door and prove that youâre a doctor.â
Nina sneered, âShe doesnât sound like a doctor at all. I bet sheâs just a slutty home wrecker.â
Nicole was speechless.
She sighed internally. Nina is just a kid. Why does she keep using words like home wrecker?
Nicole later checked herself out. If she opened the door, her kids would definitely recognize her, but she didnât want them to see her in that terrible state.
âYouâre lying, arenât you? Thatâs the only reason youâd refuse to open the door,â concluded Juan.
âYes, she must be a liar. What kind of doctor would sneak into my daddyâs room in the middle of the night?â shared Maya.
âStop wasting your breath on her. Just pick the lock!â
Nina crossed her arms. Her glare was locked on the door, and she secretly vowed to chase the home wrecker away as soon as the lock was picked.

The door was successfully opened a moment later, and Nicoleâs heart thumped anxiously. She immediately turned around and had her face towards the wall. Her nerves got to her, and she picked her fingers endlessly.
The kids entered the room, one after another.
âYouâre right, Maya. She really is thin,â commented Juan when he saw Nicoleâs back.
âWhy would daddy like a bony creature like this? Ugh, sheâs so ugly. Sheâs got nothing compared to our mommyâs sexy curves!â
Nicole couldnât speak.
