Esarosa's POV
'My head hurts.' I said to my self while placing my hands on my temples. 'Nadia. Nadia. ' I couldn't feel her. I couldn't even hear her.
"What happened?" I ask out loud. I hiked my knees up to my chest and placed my head on my knees. I rubbed the back of neck and head.
I heard a whimpering sound off to my right. I lifted my head and saw. A puppy?
"Hey little guy. What's wrong?" I asked the frightened animal.
'I am not a puppy. And I am not a guy.' the puppy said in my head.
I looked around. "Who said that?" I asked panic coming into my words.
I heard the puppy growl slightly and watched as it shuffled closer.
I looked at the puppy and realized that it wasn't just a puppy it was a wolf pup. "did you say that girl?" I asked the wolf pup.
She grinned up at me and nodded her head. 'how can you understand me?' she asked me.
I didn't know the answer. We couldn't mind link with wild wolves, rogues or anyone who wasn't a part of our pack.
I looked at the little wolf again and shook my head "I don't know." I said out loud to the pup.
She tilted her head back and forth.
"Do you have a name?" I asked the pup.
'They call me Monique.' She replied.
"That's a pretty name. Who calls you Monique?" I asked but she didn't get a chance to answer.
The door opened and a huge brown and grey wolf stepped threw the door. That wasn't the odd thing about the wolf. It was the eyes. They were orange like mine. The wolf looked directly at the pup and growled at it. Than I heard him say to the pup 'get away. You aren't supposed to be in here.' He was still growling.
I felt like I had to protect the wolf pup from him and I couldn't help but growl back at the huge wolf. I don't know why but I suddenly really hated the male wolf.
He turned his gaze on me and stood up straight. He was trying to intimidate me. Much to his surprise I didn't back down. I stood and faced the huge wolf and growled again at him. He came closer to me and growled. I felt the power but I wasn't backing down. Where did this new strength come from? why did I hate this wolf so much?
I heard the little pup whimpering I wanted to comfort her and protect her. The only way to do that though was to force this wolf to submit to me.

UNKNOWN POV
I watched as my mate headed into the prisoners room. I than heard him growl at our daughter. 'Why is she in there?' I asked myself.
I didn't really get a chance to think about it when the alpha and the rogue came back.
"What is going on?" the alpha asked me.
"Josh is in the prisoners room. He had smelt something so he went to investigate. Turns out our youngest daughter Monique is in there." I replied.
There was a lot of growling comin from the room now. And I could feel a lot of power. My mate is a beta he is strong but the prisoner seems to be stronger and not afraid.
I turned and looked at the rogue who had brought her here. "Who is she?" I asked allowing some of my beta voice threw.
He turned and laughed at me. "Your tone doesn't work on me. I have alpha blood in me. If you want answers ask nicely."
"Colin I would watch your tone here if I was you. This is my pack and my territory answer my betas question." The alpha said.
Colin chuckled. "I don't want a fight. The prisoner is Esarosa Lowell." He said.
I stood there shocked. But managed to say "That girl in there is the daughter of a vampire."
Colin laughed again and was joined by his mate. She replied "is the adopted daughter of a vampire."
I looked at the pair. They were insane.even if the girl in there was the adopted daughter it was going to be a war.
The alpha seemed to realize this also and he voiced the concern "it will mean war having the girl here. Dr. Lowell is well respected. She is a vampire princess."
"No war will form. I have simply returned the girl home." Colin said with a smug smile on his face.
The alpha stared at the boy. "What do you mean?" he asked.
"Listen in there. What do you hear?"
The girl asked
"Growling." the alpha said. Some of his anger was coming through his voice.
Alpha Lakota was very temperamental and hot headed. He is the current alpha to the Rosewood pack. Our territory surrounded the town o Wadena.
"Exactly. Esarosa is a wolf not a vampire."
"Your point is?" was alpha Lakota's response.
The door to Esarosa's cell flew open and my mate came stomping out in his human form. He was naked and very angry. He stomped all the way to Colin and wrapped his hand around the boys throat.
"How dare you bring that thing back here." He growled
Colin was laughing and coughing. I placed my hand on his arm and asked softly. "What do you mean?"
My mate dropped Colin slightly and looked at me. "That thing in there is our daughter."
I stepped back in shock. Esarosa. I thought about it. She couldn't be. We left her for dead. Than I thought about what Colin had said. She is the adopted daughter of dr. Lowell. The rumours where that there was a white wolf in the Porcupine pack. The home place of dr. Lowell. My daughter lived. I could feel the tears forming. I wanted to run into the room and hug her. I wanted to apologize.
