The girl in Georgeâs arms was thoroughly drunk. Her eyes were moist and misty; her red lips were softly exhaling the scent of alcohol; and her cheeks were flushed, making her look as beautiful as an angel.
The girl, soft and obedient, fell into his arms. George didnât want to let her go once he held her.
At this moment, the alcohol had completely overwhelmed Milly. Her large, dazed eyes were filled with confusion as she tilted her head and looked at George. She asked, âWho are you? Why are you in my house?â
âThis is your house?â
âYes, my house!â Milly replied, and her ears perked up a little. She looked around seriously, and her already confused eyes were now even more blank.
âHuh? Whereâs my bed? Did you steal my bed?â
In a daze, Milly looked towards the statue at the hotel entrance and pouted. âWeird, why are there two beasts in my house?â
After getting drunk, she looked dumb and adorable, pitiful yet cute, clinging to him stubbornly.
George couldnât help but smile. He teased, âLittle drunkard.â
There was a trace of affection in his eyesâa trace that he himself hadnât noticed.
A figure suddenly stood in front of him and demanded, âPut her down!â
A cold glare instantly replaced the smile on Georgeâs face. He raised his eyes to look at Oliver, his gaze chilling. âMove.â
Under his murderous glare, Oliverâs legs went weak.
It didnât make sense. Even though he might be considered weak and useless in the Ghost Sect, he still had. climbed over bloodâsoaked corpses to get where he was. How could an ordinary personâs glare intimidate him?
It must be an illusion! This was definitely an illusion.
Oliver steadied himself, forcing himself to stay calm. He adopted the attitude he had during missions in the Ghost Sect and demanded, âI told you to put her down! Donât you understand?â
George met his gaze unhurriedly, exuding immense pressure. He asked, âAre you ordering me?â
Oliverâs expression turned cold, unwilling to back down. He stated, âYes, I am! You better be smart; put my person down, and I might let this slide. If you keep being stubborn, donât blame me for being rude.â
His person?
As soon as he said that, the temperature around them dropped a degree.
Georgeâs eyes grew more menacing. As he stared at Oliver, his murderous intent was clear, as if ready to crush him at any moment. âOh? Really?â

Narrowing his eyes, filled with killing intent, he threw a punch in the next second, aiming fiercely at Georgeâs vital points. Each punch whistled through the air, more powerful than the last.
George was holding Milly in his arms. He dodged the attacks with ease. A serious look appeared in his eyes. He hadnât expected the man before him to use killing moves known only to an assassin organisation.
In an instant. Georgeâs lips curled into a bloodthirsty smile. He swiftly turned and kicked Oliver to the ground. His shoe was pressing down on Oliverâs shoulder bone with immense force, as if trying to crush him completely.
âWho are you?â Georgeâs voice was eerie and hollow.
Oliver hadnât expected his killer moves to be countered. Anger and shame fille question, he retorted, âIâm your daddy!â
Georgeâs eyes turned bloodâred, and he increased the pressure on his foot.
Tll ask one last time. Who are you?!â

Robin drove over just in time to witness the scene of Oliver being crushed under Georgeâs foot. Like a trapped beast, he defiantly declared himself Georgeâs father.
The absurdity of the scene nearly made him pass out.
In his over a decadeâlong career, he had never felt such an urgent need to resign!
Despite his thoughts, reason took over, and he scrambled over to help Oliver. Robin apologised to George and said, âMr. Tate, Iâm sorry. Heâs drunk. If he has offended you in any way, please donât take it to heart.â
âBullsh*t! I havenât had a drink. Tell him to put her down!â Despite being stepped on, Oliver remained unyielding.
Robin quickly grabbed Oliver. He whispered a warning, âDo you want to die? Thatâs Mr. Tate!â
Oliverâs mind was filled with the thought that his sect leader was being defiled by this scum. He couldnât care less about Georgeâs stature. His hair stood on end as he retorted, âI donât care who he is⦠ughâ¦â
Robin quickly covered Oliverâs mouth before he could say anything more outrageous.
Smiling awkwardly at George, he said, âHaha, Mr. Tate, please ignore him. He didnât take his medicine. today. Iâll take him back for his medication right away.â
He turned to the bodyguards waiting at the door and barked, âWhat are you standing there for? Tie him up and take him away!â
Fortunately, Robin had the foresight to always have a few bodyguards on hand, knowing Oliverâs unruliness. They would be useful, whether dealing with Oliver or stalking fans.
George looked down at the boy he had stepped on and narrowed his eyes. His charming face exuded a majestic, intimidating aura.

Their brawling must have disturbed the young girl in his arms. She opened her misty eyes, looking as if she might cry. Milly appeared both pitiful and delicate.
George suddenly remembered that she was awake and probably scared. He quickly released his foot and commanded. âScramlâ
Robin was immensely relieved. He almost bowed to express his gratitude. âThank you, Mr. Tate.â
The bodyguards were experienced in dealing with Oliver. They swiftly bound him up like a mummy.
Oliver was unusually agitated today. Even tied up, he struggled and glared sharply at George. His face flushed with anger.
âIf you have the guts, letâs fight oneâonâone! Using helpers is cowardly!
âI could never forgive you for taking away my master! I can never forget this grudge!
âYou son of a⦠hmpftâ¦â
Robin produced a handkerchief from who knows where and stuffed it into Oliverâs mouth.
âHaha, Oliver got kicked in the head while filming. He often talks nonsense. Please donât take him seriously. Itâs late, so weâll be leaving. We have filming tomorrow, haha.â
He waved his hand and hurriedly signalled the bodyguards to get the troublesome Oliver into the car before George decided to really lose his temper.
The car sped back to their hotel. Once there, Robin finally had Oliver untied.
As soon as he was free, Oliver kicked Robin hard in the stomach. The kick was ferocious, as he had used all his strength. Oliver sent the defenseless Robin flying three metres.
