I thought a lot about how the king and queen would react with me telling them about my holder dream.
They didn't expect much of me since I'm from the human world. âWhy should we tell your parents?â I asked.
Lexus put his blunt out and put it away. âThey need to know that you are the holder, this is proof. And weâll feel even worse if we didnât take the very precaution in stopping this from happening. If they know then our chances of changing the possible future are higher.â
âOkay. Weâll tell them after your last class.â
He leaned forward to kiss me, but I moved away. âWhatâs wrong?â
I was thinking about what the woman said about how I should stop seeing Lexus. âLast night felt amazing but what about Sadia?â I wasnât close to Sadia, but she saw us as friends.
âShe wonât know, we can continue this until the full moon. We can reject each other then get rid of the X. Well stop, then Iâll mate with Sadia a month later.â I wasnât sure if I could do all this then stand rejection especially if itâs going to be physically painful too. We kissed and his hand went further up my thigh.
After we made out, we left the room. Stewart was wiping down the windows outside my room and saw us. He didnât greet me, and I wasnât sure if we should have said something, but I did anyway. âHey Stewart.â Stewart waved at me after I greeted him but didnât say anything. I wondered if he knew what we were doing. âAre you gonna need some help later?â Lexus started walking.
Stewart shook his head. âIâm sure the prince will need your assistance more.â
âMaybe⦠Iâm not Cade, I canât do as much for him.â I said before catching up with Lexus. âAre you going to need me after your classes?â Heâs never needed me before. âAnd after we meet with your parents?â
âYeah.â He looked at his watch.
I crossed my arms out of annoyance. âWhy all of the sudden? Because of what weâre doing?â I whispered the last part.
Lexus chuckled. âIn a way, we donât have to avoid each other anymore so you can fully do your job. I usually do need assistance most the day. I never really let Cade go early.â So, the job included more than what I had been doing.
When I was sitting in his first class I felt tired, so I rest my eyes for a while. I thought about Konn and saw him. He was talking to the king and queen. I couldnât hear anything they said although the king and queen looked like they were arguing. I had a feeling it was about me. Konn left the room unsatisfied, and Gray was waiting outside for him.
When I opened my eyes, I left the room and walked down the hall until I saw Konn talking to Gray. It was clear to me that my third eye was seeing into the present properly again. I didnât even have to try very much. All I had to do was think of Konn. I went back to the classroom before Konn could spot me.
Lexus stared at me when I walked in then went back to his lesson. âElf kingdoms now allows all kinds of creatures within its borders. Itâs all thanks to a South Elven Queen who married a Dragon shifter which made him King. Dragon shifter blood still runs in the southern elf kingdoms royalty.â I liked learning about the history of this world. âWe donât have too many restrictions on who a future King or Queen can marry now due to the history of hybrids running kingdoms.â I wonder how living in this world was for hybrids.
After the class we sat at the window seats. âWhere did you go earlier?â Lexus asked.
âI saw Konn with my third eye, so I went to see if he was really where I saw he was.,â I answered. âHe was there.â
âCan you do it now?â He asked. âTry Sadia.â
I closed my eyes and thought of Sadia, but it was all blurry. âNope.â
âWhat about my sister?â
I closed my eyes and thought of the princess. It was a little harder because I barely knew her. âI see her, sheâs in class but sheâs secretly texting on her phone.â
âCan you see who sheâs texting?â Lexus asked.
I tried to make the view clearer and focus on her phone. âHer name is Lydia, theyâre planning to meet up and your sister is going to ditch her next class to go. Her professor just dismissed her.â I opened my eyes. âIâm not sure how true any of that was.â
He stood up. âLetâs go see.â
I followed Lexus down the hall until we say his sister. âHannah.â He called out to her.
Princess Hannah turned around. âOh, hey Lexus.â She looked at me but didnât say anything.
âYou should tell Lydia I said hi and if you see Sadia while youâre at the pack house tell her to call me.â
Hannahâs face was deep red. âWh-whatâ¦?â She looked at me again and then stopped looking confused. âWow, you just made my shit list.â She looked at Lexus. âAre you going to tell anyone?â
âJust tell Sadia to call me.â He was never planning on stopping her.
Hannah chuckled nervously. âLydia hasnât taken me to the pack house yet.â
Lexus raised his eyebrow. âWhy not?â
Hannah shrugged. âTry answering any of my personal questions and maybe Iâll answer yours.â She looked at me. âIâd appreciate it if you didnât spy on me.â She said before turning away.
I sighed. âIt is spying, isnât it? I didnât mean to upset her⦠I donât even know her yet.â I pouted then looked at my phone. âWe need to get to your next class.â
We walked towards his next class. âDonât worry, Hannah doesnât hold grudges.â
âYou donât mind her leaving? Sheâs the princess, isnât it dangerous for her?â I asked out of concern.
âSheâs fifteen and we've been required to take self-defense classes since we were younger. She can handle herself, plus sheâll be with Lydia.â If he wasnât worried, then neither was I. After his next two classes he requested a meeting with his parents through Konn.
âThe both of you? What is it regarding?â Konn asked.
âHer abilities, she had her first holder dream last night and her third eye is getting stronger,â Lexus explained.
âThatâs important so you should see them now,â Konn decided.
I was worried but I was confident in my abilities.
