Peace wanted to say something to comfort Jasper. However, when she saw his somber expression, she shut her mouth. She secretly grabbed Annaâs arm and asked her what to do.
Anna frowned, thinking sheâd overestimated Isabella. After everything Isabella had been through, Anna once thought she had become a mature adult.
Isabella shouldnât have left without explaining herself, no matter what Lily had said to her or what had just happened here. Sheâs in her twenties, and she shouldnât have left with total disregard for anyone elseâs feelings, leaving Jasper to clean the mess for her. What the hell was she thinking?! Anna thought.
After exiting the lounge, Peace asked Karl to contact the police and ask them to locate Isabella At that moment, Anna said, âWe donât have to go look for her. Sheâs an adult. She can look after herselfâ
âBut she didnât have her bag with her when she left! Isabella probably didnât bring any money. What if sheâs in danger?â
âShe asked for it. If she wants to leave, then let her leave. She married on the spur of the moment and left without explanation.
Sheâll only realize she was wrong if she goes through some pain,â With a calm expression, Anna said.
Peace knew Anna was still upset with Isabella, so she gazed at her in silence.
âGet some people to keep an eye on Lily,â Anna said after a while. 525 Sheâll Come Around od With his brow furrowed tightly, Karl sighed every few moments.
âWill you please stop sighing? Itâs annoying!â Peace asked, her gaze fixed on him.
â| didnât do anything! | was just sighing!â âYouâre breathing too loudly!â
Everyone was used to the two of them arguing, so no one intervened. Soon, Karlâs phone rang âHello?â Karl nodded and said, âOkay, | got it. Please contact me as soon as you have any new information:
As soon as he hung up the phone, Karl resignedly said to everyone looking at him expectantly, âLily is staying at the hotel next door. Jasper has sent some people to look for Isabella in this area, but none of them has seen her so far, Iâve told the airport to keep her from leaving. Well, she didnât bring her passport, so she couldnât leave the country.â
Just as they were about to begin another round of discussion, Matthew opened the door and entered the lounge. In the bright light, his face looked almost identical to Wayneâs. Then he said to Anna, âMom, the kids are asleep, and Tammy is in there with them.ââ
Anna nodded and said, âThank you, honey. You have a flight back tomorrow morning, right? Howâs the project going?â
âItâs going on pretty well, Mom.â
âGreat. Good night, dear.â
After Matthew walked away, Peace turned around and said, âGee! Even Matthew, a fifteen-year-old teenager is more reliable than Isabella!â
Looking at Wayne, who seemed to be deep in thought, Anna asked him, âWayne, what do you have in mind?â 525 Sheâll Come Around â
âShe doesnât have a passport, so how can she leave?â Wayne replied ina low voice.
âIâm afraid sheâs out of options because weâre on an island surrounded by the sea on all sides. She wouldnât swim across the ocean, would she?â
âWhat if she left the island by boat?â Crossing his arms before his chest, Wayne looked Anna in the eye and said.
While Anna and the rest of them were still wondering if it was likely that Isabella left the island by boat, a private cruise ship was about to sail from the dock in the night.
A woman ina black cloak stood on the shipâs second deck. The wind was so strong that it blew a corner of her robe up. Her eyes were sad and lonely as if sheâd been through a lot in her life.
Then a man in a white robe and a beard emerged from the cabin. âMadam, do we really have to take the girl with us?â he asked her respectfully.
The woman turned to face the island and said, âWeâre just giving her arride. Itâs not as tricky as you think.â
âIsnât that too dangerous? After all, sheâs part of that group. So if they check. âThey canât find her fast enough because sheâs already thrown away her phone. Iâll give her some money and send someone to take her Wherever she wants to go after the boat docks. Iâm not concerned with where she goes after that.â The woman sounded confident in herself. Her assistant appeared to want to persuade her further, but he eventually just said, âYes.â
525 Sheâll Come Around âs The ship set sail after the assistant had left. And the woman was still on deck, staring at the island that was getting farther and farther away from her. Her dark green eyes were calm, yet it seemed like a tornado was coming soon.
Three days later, Anna and her friends returned to England. Although everyone was worried about Isabellaâs safety, they could do nothing by staying on the island. So, Jasper had hired private investigators to find her in the Maldives, and Wayne had asked Ryan to find her in England.
Anna then dialed Ryanâs number. âTake your time, Ryan. She knows how to look after herself, so she will be fine. By the way, is Emily coming back this month?â
âYes! | finally got in touch with her the day before yesterday, and she told me that the mission was completed. She would come back soon, but she has no idea when.â
â Okay. | really want to meet her. Ask her if she can have lunch with me, will you?â
âNo worries. Isabella will definitely come back after sheâs not angry anymore, so please donât worry.â
âAll right, thanks. Good night.â Anna sighed as she hung up the phone and sat on the couch.
Wayne walked downstairs after saying good night to the kids. âAre you still worried about Isabella?â he asked after hearing Annaâs sigh.
âYeah,â Anna admitted it. / told everyone that Isabella was old enough to care for herself these days. But, who am | kidding? Isabella hasnât been through difficulties since she left the island ten years ago. Because Jasper treats Isabella like a princess, sheâs likely forgotten how to survive alone. Anna thought.
âSheâll be just fine,â Stroking Annaâs hair, Wayne comforted her. 525 Sheâll Come Around â
âI hope so. How is Gary?â
âHeâs already dozing off. Iâll drop him off at Momâs tomorrow morning.â
âIll go there with you.â
âThat wonât be necessary. Donât you still have work to do at the hospital?â Wayne stroked her hair and asked.
âYou heard me on the phone, didnât you?â Slightly frowning, Anna asked as she stopped Wayne stroking her hair.
âYes. Good night, dear!â Wayne spoke softly.
Anna pursed her lips and wrapped her arms around Wayne. âIâll be doing less work now and wonât be as busy as | used to be.
Tammy can come home and stay with us,â she said, pressing her head against his chest.
âGood,â Wayne said as he hugged her and stroked her long hair.
Before boarding the plane, Karl told Wayne that Anna was considering volunteering in a country named Fleosil. Wayne was lost in thought after hearing that news. Although he wished Anna would spend more time at home, he wouldnât force her to do something she didnât want todo.
After Anna had fallen asleep, Wayne took his phone out to the balcony and dialed Karlâs number, saying, âI have something else in mind for that project we discussed last time.â
âYou can tell me now. Iâve basically planned everything, and | should be able to find an investor within a month.â
âNo, Iâd like to invest that money in something else. Iâm not going to put it in the UK.â
Karl asked, surprised, âAre you serious? Can you find a better place 525 Sheâll Come Around than the UK?â
Wayne paused for a moment before responding,
