Everyone arrived in the Maldives around noon. As soon as she stepped out of the airport, Anna felt the warm tropical sunshine.
Before leaving, they had already changed into their holiday clothes in the airportâs dressing room. Many people on the street were staring at them as they walked out together. Not only were all four adults good-looking, but so were the adolescent girl and the two children.
Later, all of them met Jasper at the airport in his Lincoln Stretch Limousine.
âWhat are you doing here? Donât you have a lot to prepare for your wedding?â Anna asked after getting into the car, smiling as she sized Jasper up.
Jasper looked very relaxed in a brightly colored Hawaiian shirt and pants. However, the outfit was clearly not his style at all. And Anna knew Isabella had bought him the shirt and convinced him to wear it.
Sitting in the passenger seat, Jasper had to turn around if he wanted to talk to his friends. He said, âI have nothing to do, but Isabella has a lot on her plate. She asked for my help and said she was waiting for you to clean up her mess.â
âReally? Even a competent man couldnât handle them all?â Leaning forward, Peace asked. At that moment, Peace was leaning in between Anna and Wayne, the wide brim of her straw hat directly blocking Wayneâs eyes. So, Wayne leaned uncomfortably against the car window. Then Jasper said, âSheâs still a young girl, so sheâs always coming up with new ideas. In the morning, Isabella became dissatisfied with the setup 515 Lost in Maldives again and is now having it torn down and redone.â
Peace raised her hat brim, stretched her neck, and said, âIs she undergoing pre-wedding anxieties? Well, if that is the case, |
quite understand her. After all, sheâs in her early twenties and she has a lot to figure out. So, Jasper, | have to warn you ahead.
She might be a runaway bride.â
Frowning, Wayne couldnât stand it any longer, asking Peace, âHow about | switch seats with you?â Then he blocked the brim of Peaceâs hat with one hand.
âNo problem,â Peace said. She immediately nodded and crawled from the last row to the second row on her hands and knees Wayne then made his way to the last row and sat next to Karl, who was staring out the window sadly because he was left out by his wife. As soon as Peace sat next to Anna, she said, âIsabellaâs far too impulsive. You have the responsibility to tell her to stop, Anna. After all, youâre her former adoptive mother.ââ
Originally, Anna was amused by their conversation. As soon as she heard this, however, she stomped hard on Peace as she was a bit angry with what she said.
âAh!â Peace let out a painful scream.
Hearing Peace screaming, Anna thought, What the hell are you talking about? Thank goodness Wayne is in the back row and didnât hear anything you said, Peace.
âIfyou keep talking nonsense, Iâl tell Jasper the truth,â Anna said, glaring at Peace.
âWhat are you talking about?â Jasper asked, puzzled.
Smiling awkwardly, Peace wiped her leather shoes with her hands and said, âNothing! Anna was just joking with me. Youâre right. Isabella does 515 Lost in Maldives have a temper. Iâll speak with her later.â Afraid Anna would tell Jasper that she had given Isabella some ideas if she became angry, Peace winked at Anna.
Jasper had no idea what was going on while Anna knew everything. âShe knew that Peace was the main reason for Isabellaâs pre-wedding drama.
Previously, Peace insisted on Isabella having a big fight with Jasper before the wedding so she could see his craziest side. That way, Isabella would know how to get along with him after getting married To Annaâs surprise, Isabella was convinced by Peace. She began arguing with Jasper about a month ago and caused a lot of trouble. Anna tried several times to persuade them to stop, but they didnât listen to her.
Then Jasper said as he rubbed his temples with one hand, âYou donât have to say anything to her. Could you please help her with the preparation? The wedding is tomorrow, and Iâm worried she wonât make it ontime.â
Peace tried to say something else, but she stopped as she felt Annaâs glare.
Youâre the one who caused all of this trouble, so you should be the one to clean up this mess, Anna thought while glaring at Peace.
About half an hour later, the car stopped in front of a luxurious resort hotel. Anna and Peace had just gotten out of the car when they noticed a young boy in a suit standing by the hotel door.
âTammy!â the boy exclaimed, waving a large bouquet of roses. He was dressed like a gentleman. The boy, who looked charming and cute, resembled Karl a lot.
Both Anna and Peace were shocked as they looked at each other. 515 Lost in Maldives âWhat the hell are you trying to do again, kiddo?â Peace asked, frowning.
Anna squeezed her hand to calm her down before asking softly, âDid you forget what | told you?â
Hearing that, Peace forced herself to hold back her anger. Later, right after Karl got out of the car and stood behind them, Peace stomped him hard. The next second, Karl fell back into the car in pain before he could say anything Tammy was the most composed one. She just carried her tablet and walked straight to the hotel.
âTammy, this is for you!â Martin exclaimed as he ran up to her and handed her the bouquet of roses.
Tammy looked calmly at him, then at the roses. âWhat are you doing with the flowers?â She asked coldly.
Martin froze and then quickly responded, âIâm here to welcome you!â
âArenât you hot in that suit?â Tammy asked, then walked toward the hotel without looking back at Martin.
Hearing that, Martin was not deterred. He handed the flower to the bodyguard and then quickly followed Tammy. He asked, âAre you thirsty, Tammy? Iâve got drinks ready for you.â
âThank you, Iâm good.â
âIve also got some delicious food for you. Iâve checked the map, and | found many good restaurants nearby. Iâll take you to a fancy restaurant this afternoon.â
âIâm sorry, but Iâm not available.â
âWhen are you going to be free?â
âI have games to play this afternoon.â
âMay | join in?â
âYou? Nah.â
Peace was about to lose it as she watched her son chase Tammy into the hotel. She would have publicly stripped her son of his suit if Anna hadnât intervened.
âKarl!â Peace yelled angrily.
âYes?â Karl jumped out of the car and stood up straight. He began to break out in a cold sweat.
Peace gave him a vicious glare and said, âTake a look at your son! Did you teach him to coax girl like that?â
âTo be honest, heâs our son.â
âWhat did you just say?â Peace asked in anger.
Apple, Peaceâs daughter, was shivering with fear. She muttered to Wayne, âUncle Wayne, Mommy is going to be furious. Letâs go!â
âAnna and Wayne exchanged glances before proceeding cautiously to the hotel.
