(Clover P.O.V)
I woke up next to a great sight the Succubus named Mel fast asleep. Ah I would take the kill right now but I like a fight back.
I get up making sure not to disturb her, I tiptoe out the door and start up the car.
Once I reach my destination, I get out and walk towards my workplace. "Welcome back Mr.Snipe" says the receptionist. I ignore her and walk straight into my boss's office.
"Oh seems that your back, how is your current mission going?" He asks turned to the window so I can't see his face. " Good sir I'm blending in just fine" I say smiling.
"Good, this Succubus won't know what hit her" he says turning around in his chair. "Glad that I can count on you to do this" he says smiling. I grin wickedly "Why, it's all my pleasure".
I then get up and walk out of the office, I hate Succubus's and Incubus's, I thought hatefully.
I still remember the day as if it was yesterday.
Flashback-
My 9 year old self makes its way down the steps carefully. "Maryanne! I'm tired of you always cheating on me I'm your mate you should be just satisfied by me and no one else!" my dad says angrily.
I pass the corner to get a look to see that my dad was standing over my mom, face red and furious, while my mom is sitting there filing her nails.
She looks at him amused , "You knew what I was, it's in my nature I can't believe you are expecting me to sleep with just you". That seems to drive my dad over the edge as he grabs a weird looking pistol.
Her amused face turns into horror "W-Where did you get that?" She asked stuttering almost every word. My dad smiles, "It's a secret but that's not the point here" he says calmly.
"The point is I'm going to kill you with it ,maybe my second mate will actually stay loyal to me unlike you" he says pointing the gun at her"
Flashback over
I shiver not wanting to remember the rest, my dad is still torn up about it to this day because he never got to have a second mate. My dad was a sorcerer and so am I but I'm also a Incubus.
I wish not to have that side of me considering how disgusting my mother was... Melody may be my mate but I'm not going to go through what my father did.
