I sat on the couch drinking my coffee. I had slight dark circles under my eyes because I couldn't sleep yesterday at all. It's all those two idiots fault.
I ran my fingers through my hair and leaned back in the couch.
Lori came and sat beside me. I fullheartedly ignored her. She hugged me.
"I'm sowwy, Mel!" She said. I huffed and turned my face to the other side.
"Oh come on! Won't you forgive you cute sweet beautiful nice friend, huh? Not to say that I was your first friend here." She said. I sighed.
"Fine. Now get off me. You're fat." I said. She cheered but let go off me only after giving me a kiss on the cheek. I chuckled a bit.
She stood in front of me with her hands on her hips.
"Now get up. I'm gonna cover those hideous dark circles for you." She said. I raised an eyebrow.
"And how are you gonna do that? And they don't look that bad." I said.
"With make up of course!" Alex said coming and standing beside Lori. Lori nodded in agreement. I looked at both of them as though I saw a ghost.
"No! No no no no no no no no NO! I am not putting on any make up! I never put any and I'm not gonna put some now!" I yelled getting up. I tried to run away from them but they easily caught me.
"Let me go!! Please please please! I beg of you'll!" I shouted. They both laughed.
"If I knew I could see this face of yours earlier I would have tried putting make up on you a lot before!" Alex said. They forced me onto a soft chair in front of the mirror in my room and they started their work.
A few minutes later I opened my eyes and saw that I didn't have dark circles anymore.
"Wow. They actually disappeared." I whispered to myself.
"Your welcome. We know we're great." They both said. I rolled my eyes.
"Whatever. Get ready now. We need to leave for breakfast." I said.
"Shit! It's 7:40 am already?!" They said and ran to their respective rooms and got ready. I, thankfully was already ready. I just packed my bag with the books I need, my training suit and my phone. I went and sat down on the couch and turned on the television.
A few minutes later Lori and Alex were ready too.
"Let's go now. I'm damn hungry." I said.
"When are you not?" Alex asked. I just stuck out my tongue at her.
While walking to the main hall we met up with Jeanette, Sophia and Chelsea.
"I'm so tired." I commented while slumping down in the couch. Alex and Lori followed suit.
"Me too. Rex made us work to hard today. My muscles are aching." Lori said.
"You'll too? He made us work our ass off too." Alex said.
"I think he had a fight with his Eva(his wife)." I said.
"Maybe. But he's always in a bad mood so..." Lori said.
"Yeah..." Alex and I said.
A few seconds later, I heard a voice in my head.
Melanie, I want you, Alex and Lorraine to come to room 5C right now. Please make it quick.
Okay, Mrs. Withersfield.
I got up from the couch. "Girls we gotta go to room 5C right now." I said.
"What for?" Alex asked.
"For our new class I guess." I said.
"How do you know that?" Alex asked.
"Mrs. Withersfield told me telepathically. Now let's go." I said.
"But what should we wear?" Lori asked.
"Umm I don't know. Wait a second." I said.
I closed my eyes.
Mrs. Withersfield, are you still there?
Yes my dear. Is there some problem?
It's just that we wanted to know what we should wear and come.
Don't wear your school uniform. Just wear something casual and comfortable. Something in which you can move easily.
Okay. Thank you.
No problem dear. Just come quick. It's already 6 pm.
Yes. We'll be there soon.
I opened my eyes. "Guys anything casual and comfortable I fine. Something in which we can move easily." I said. They nodded and we went to our separate rooms to get ready. I then went out and sat on the couch waiting for the other 2.
Alex came out of her room first.
Later Lori came out too.
She was wearing black sunglasses.
"And why the hell are you wearing sunglasses?" I asked.
"Cause it makes me look cool." She said and posed. Alex and I snickered.
"Or because she wants to impress the guys that we'll meet." Alex said.
"Guys?" I asked.
"You didn't know? Lori got to know that the three people we'll be meeting along with our professors are guys. So I guess she's trying to impress one of them?" Alex said.
"Shut up!" Lori said.
"Is it bad to want a guy for yourself? Don't you'll want one?" She asked.
"I wouldn't mind having one. But I got high standards." Alex said.
"What about you?" They asked me.
"Not interested. I don't need a guy to keep my happy. I have you guys." I said.
"Aww. You're so sweet." Lori said hugging me. Alex joined in later.
"Let's go now." I said pulling out of the hug.
I wore my black hoodie and took the map of the academy.
After a few turns here and there, we finally reached Room 5C. I looked at both of them.
"Ready?" I asked.
They nodded and I pushed open the doors. There we saw 3 professors standing along with Mrs. Withersfield and two guys. Woah. These guys had streaks in their hair too. But weren't there supposed to be 3 guys?
"Come in, girls." Mrs Withersfield ushered us in. We came and stood in front of her.
"These are your professors, girls. Alex, this is Mr. Jared Stephenson. He'll teach you how to use your invisibility power easily." Mrs. Withersfield pointed at a bald and quite strong guy. He smiled at us softly.
"Lorraine, this here is Mrs. Madelyn Saunders. She's gonna be your professor." A woman, maybe in her late thirties with dark grey long hair, smiled widely at us.
"Hey girls! It's so lovely to meet you'll!" She said.
We smiled in return.
"And Melanie, for you its Mrs. Krystal Esparza." Mrs. Withersfield pointed to a lady with orangish red hair. I smiled at her and she smiled back.
"Now girls, introduce yourselves." Mrs. Withersfield said.
Alex was about to open her mouth but was cut off by a guy with black hair and grey highlights.
"But Ma'am when are we gonna introduce ourselves?" He complained. Alex looked quite annoyed.
"Dude, have some patience." The guy beside him said. He had dark blonde hair with light golden highlights. The other guy whined.
Mrs. Withersfield sighed.
"Fine. Introduce yourselves boys." She said.
"Thanks Mrs. Withersfield! Hi there! I'm Bryson Simmons. I have the element of metal and I also have the power of X - ray vision. I can see through thick walls or obstacles easily." He said and smiled wide.
"I'm Drew Murphy. I have the Lightning element and the ability to transport myself and other people." The guy with dark blonde hair with light golden highlights said. We smiled at both of them. Bryson smiled wide while Drew just gave a small smile.
"So before I was rudely interrupted by someone..." Alex started looking at Bryson while he just winked at her. Alex rolled her eyes before continuing.
"So as I was saying, I'm Alexia Horton. I have the Earth element and the power to become invisible."
"So can I call you Alex?" Bryson asked.
"No." Alex flat out said.
"Thanks, Alex. You'll can call me Bry." He said completely ignoring what Alex said. Alex just sighed and ushered for us to go on.
"I'm Lorraine Caister but you'll can call me Lori. I have the Water element and the power of Telekinesis. It's really nice to meet you'll!" Lori said cheerfully.
"That's a pretty neat name." Drew said.
Lori blushed slightly. "Thanks. I like you too. I mean I like yours too!! Your name I mean!" Lori stuttered blushing. Drew laughed.
"You're cute." He said. Lori was as red as a tomato by now. I laughed internally while I smiled externally. Alex was smirking in her direction too.
"Hi guys. I'm Melanie Grace. If you'll want you'll can call me Mel. I have the Fire element and the Air element." I said.
"You have two elements too?" Drew asked. I looked at him in confusion.
"What do you mean 'too'?" I asked.
That's when the doors suddenly opened. We all turned to see who it was. And there standing was none other than----
