It's finally the day for our camp! And I'm really excited but at the same time scared too. I wonder what all things I'll unveil on that island.
"Mel! Are you ready?! If not we'll go on without you!!" I heard Lori's voice.
I rolled my eyes. Like hell she would leave without me. She wouldn't be able to survive a day without me!
"Ya ya. I'm coming." I said and dragged my HUGE suitcase and of course a backpack.
I went to the living room and found the two sitting on the couch.
"Guys, I'm ready. Let's leave." I said.
"Finally, I thought you would never come out." Lori said. I rolled my eyes at her.
We three grabbed our luggage and left our room.
We walked towards Mrs. Withersfield's office where we were supposed to meet.
Alex and I were talking about what all things we'd do there and what all creatures we'll meet while Lori was just daydreaming (about Drew for sureð)
"Drew!!" Lori yelled and Alex and I snapped our heads towards the front.
There just in front of Mrs. Withersfield's office stood the 3 guys.
Lori ran towards them while Bryson ran towards us, or particularly Alex.
"Alex!! I missed you so much!" He said trying to hug her.
"We just met yesterday you idiot! And don't call me that!" She yelled. He pouted.
"Aww why not? I love calling you that though." He said.
"Whatever. Let's go in now." Alex said with a slight blush coating her cheeks. I smirked at that.
My smirk turned into a frown as I melted an icicle coming towards me. I looked at Shawn to find him smirking.
"What the hell Shawn?! I could've been killed you know?!" I yelled.
"But you didn't right?" He asked calmly.
I gritted my teeth. "Let's just go in!" I said and knocked on the door before stepping in.
"Morning, Mrs. Withersfield!" I said with a smile.
"Good morning Melanie. You seem pretty excited." She said.
"I am! I can't wait to go there!" I said and the rest entered too.
"So are you all ready?" She asked. We nodded.
She closed her eyes and made some hand movements. Suddenly a warp hole was formed a few metres away from her. It was a mixture a black, blue and purple. It looked really beautiful too.
Mrs. Withersfield opened her eyes and smiled at us.
"Go ahead kids." She said.
"The last one who reaches will cook dinner for a week!!" Bryson said and was the first one to jump in.
"Hey wait up!" Alex said and stepped in too.
"Ready, Lori?" Drew asked taking her hand in his. She blushed deeply and nodded her head. They too jumped in and disappeared in the warp hole.
I was about to go too when Shawn held my wrist. I looked back at him but he just kept a blank face.
He began to drag me towards the hole. I felt a bit nervous. I mean, what if I ended up somewhere else and not on Funaria island?
Oh don't worry sweetie. You have Shawn with you.
I smiled at Mrs. Withersfield. She returned it.
"Train well there and have fun. But not too much." She said and winked. I felt my face burning at that. How could she say something like that?!
"Don't worry. We'll keep that in mind." Shawn said smirking.
I just looked down in embarrassment.
"Now go along. You don't want the others to wait, now do you?" Mrs. Withersfield said. Shawn dragged me again and we both jumped inside the warp hole.
I shut my eyes because of a bright light.
When I opened them again, my eyes widened. I slowly stood up (I had fallen on my buttð) and took in the scene before me.
It was amazing!!
"Mel!" I snapped my head towards the right and saw Alex and Lori calling out to me.
"Coming!" I said and grabbed my suitcases. Shawn followed after me.
"Come on guys! I'll show you'll the house we'll be staying in." Bryson said and started walking ahead after dragging Alex with him.
Lori and I giggled at that.
"Come on Lori." Drew said and they walked ahead too.
I looked at Shawn. "You coming?" I asked.
He simply walked ahead of me. I quickly followed after him.
After walking for a bit we finally stopped in front of what seemed like the house we'll be staying in for the next 4 months.
"Are you serious?! Is this where we'll be staying?!" Lori asked surprised.
"Yup." Drew said laughing slightly.
It was huge! It looked so good from outside, I wonder how it would look from the inside.
I ran in and my eyes widened.
THIS. WAS. AMAZING!!!
I can't believe this whole house is all to us for 4 months!
"Wow!!" I heard Lori say from behind me.
"Amazing right?" Bryson asked.
"Amazing? It's marvellous!!" Lori and I yelled.
He chuckled.
"Why don't we all go and keep our luggage and settle down in our rooms? We'll train only a bit today since its your first day here but we'll start our full on training from tomorrow." Drew said. We nodded.
Alex, Lori and I headed up and found our rooms. The guys had already marked their rooms so we had to choose from the ones left.
I got a room which gave me a clear view of the beach and the sea.
I began unpacking and placed all of my clothes in the closest.
I placed the important things in a drawer and locked it. What are the important things you ask? My phone and my game console of course. What else?
I sighed and sat down on my bed once I was done. I looked outside and saw that it was already noon!! What the hell?! We came here early morning. How is it noon? Oh I forgot! Time passes quickly here.
My stomach grumbled a bit. I hadn't eaten any breakfast after all.
I quickly changed into a pair of sweats and a tank top. I tied my hair in a messy bun and put on my reading glasses. Oh I didn't tell you that I had glasses? It doesn't matter really. I rarely wear my glasses and they're for reading only so...
I jogged downstairs and saw the girls in the kitchen while the guys were in the living room.
"Hey Mel!" Bry said. "Hey Bry. What are the girls doing?" I asked.
"Cooking. Drew was going to cook but then I commented that they don't even know how to cook and Alex got angry and decided that she and Lori would cook." He said in one breath.
"Oh." Was all I said.
"I just hope they don't explode the kitchen." Drew said. I laughed.
"Chill. They won't do that. I think so." I said not so sure myself. He just sighed.
"So you know how to cook, Drew?" I asked. He nodded with a smile.
"Lori is so lucky. She'll have a great husband in future who can even cook! Isn't that great Lori?" I said loudly so that Lori could hear.
"Melanie!!" She yelled back. I could see Drew blushing slightly but still had a smile on his face while Lori was red with embarrassment and was pouting.
I just snickered. "Don't deny it sweetie. We all know that's what you really want." I said and laughed. But my laugh died down when I found myself wet from head to toe.
"Lori!!" I yelled at her. She just huffed and looked away. I just vaporized the water on me.
I created a small flame in my hand and held my hand to throw it at her but was stopped when Bry and Drew yelled at me to stop.
"No Melanie! Don't do th-!" They couldn't even complete their sentence when suddenly water sprinkled from above. Ohhhh.....I guess I started the fire alarm. I giggled nervously as Alex and Lori glared at me.
"Sorry!!" I yelled.
"Sorry won't do! Now you're the one who's gonna cook us lunch." Alex said. I looked at her with my jaw wide open.
"What?! But I don't even know what to make a cup of coffee! How will I learn to make lunch for all of us?!" I asked.
"Not our problem." They said. I groaned.
"Fine. But don't complain when the food comes out bad. I already warned you'll." I said and headed toward the kitchen to prepare a delicious meal for all of us. I'm so happy! Ugh.
After what seemed like forever I finally was able to make a decent meal; fried rice. Along with freshly cut fruits and a salad. I can't believe I was able to make this! I'm so great!
Okay.......Drew helped me a bit. Okay, okay. A LOT! There!
We all had our food talking and chatting a lot. But Shawn kept quiet the whole time. Well he was quiet ever since we came here. I wonder why though.
We spent the rest of the afternoon lazying around and trained a bit in the evening.
I threw myself on my bed as soon as I entered my room. I stared up at the ceiling and just thought for awhile.
I need to find out who that woman in my dream was.
And who is this Garry? And what will he make me remember?
I sighed. Only time will tell. I turned a bit and slowly drifted off to dreamless sleep.
