17 - Chapter Seventeen - Thanatos Alexander's Point Of View
Today was Forrest's 18th birthday. He was so very happy. Our babies
are a year and three months old, their birthday was great. They had
cake and both Quinn and em brought their new babies. Forest and I
had a small home on the far back of the packâs land. The boys babbled
their happy birthdays when they saw their daddy. They loved him so
darn much and it warmed my heart so much.
Forest graduated school and is currently working with his dad, Kane
calls it alpha training. Forest wrapped his arms around my waist and
kissed my neck. The twins ran around and played with all the toys they
could get their hands on. They were in the hitting Phase and where
hitting anything they could that included us, their grandparents and all
their toys.
Quinn and I had been planning Forest the best birthday surprise party.
We got him a specific cake and decorations. I bought him a set of dog
tags with our baby's fingerprints and all the baby info from when they
were born, I knew he was going to love it. It was made special just for
him. He was such a perfect dad to the twins. Kane had been a really
good help in Forest learning how to be a good dad. Kane treated Forest
like he was his first born blood child even though he wasn't and I
thought that was amazing. Forest was Kane's son through and
through.
Forest picked both the boys up and they giggled as he put them in
their highchairs. I took to standing back and watching him with the
boys, he is such a great dad, I was so happy. My parents were even
coming for his birthday, I told them it was alright if they couldn't make
it, but they insisted that they would come. They adored Forest and
made sure they were at any event he was holding. They were so proud
of him for becoming a man and finsihsing school and giving all of us a
nice and cozy life. They also wanted him to know they were open for
more grandkids in the coming future. Quinn and Kane were the same
way too.
Forest fed the boys and we got them dressed and then we got dressed
and walked up to the packhouse, Quinn hugged Forest and then stole
our children, he took them to go get cookies and other sweets.
Honestly, I wasn't surprised he always took the kids and gave them
sugar. At least Kane wasn't around, he spoiled the boys with everything.
Kane was powerless to our children, he always spoiled them. He bought
them anything they needed and things they didn't. He built them a
sandbox and playground for when they were older.
Em and Lucca would show up at 12, then the party would get
underway, it was 11:30. I gave Forest one present early, I gave him a
mug with the boy's footprints on it, he broke into tears and said he
loved it. I thought he would just like it. I wasn't expecting him to tear
up.He pulled me against him and gave me a deep kiss before
whispering in my ear that if i did want to be round and with child again
I need to stop being too cute.
I saw Em and Lucca, which meant the party was about to get underway.
After lunch we would have cake and then open gifts. Forest pulled me
to his side and I noticed the boys were both coated in the chocolate
cookie as Quinn chased them around the backyard, em sent his twins
Alex and Benjamin to help Quinn, I couldn't help but notice the way
that Atlas blushed when the boys took Chance out of Atlas's arms. The
twins were older than Forest by almost a year. they would be turning
nineteen in a few weeks. They were decent kids, They treated Forest
pretty good even though I had a feeling they were only getting close to
him to get close to his brother Atlas.
we cut the cake and all enjoyed a piece of it, it was a wolf cake, we let
the boys add their own touch to it. After Forest blew out the candles,
we ate the cake. Quinn and I brought the gifts off the table right to
Forest, He had so many gifts. There were so many gifts that KAne also
had to help Quinn carry them all our else he would have made like ten
trips.
Forest got threw half of them when I gave him the rest of my gifts.
When he opened the box with the dog tags in it, he pulled me into his
lap and kissed my lips and also whispered that he was going to give me
the best night of my life. After all the rest of the gifts were done Kane
handed him a little box saying it had just arrived, I looked at it and
Forest looked at me.
"Hey Than Baby this is for you."
I looked at the box confused and took it from his hand, I opened it and
my mouth dropped right open, inside the box was a ring, but I wasn't a
normal ring it was engraved with " will you marry me" When I looked at
forest he was down on one knee with an open little black box in his
hands, the ring that sat in the black box was gold with jade stones in it
along with a diamond.
" Forest, Of course, I would marry you, I would marry you as many times
as I needed to for you to understand we are forever," I said, he put the
ring on my finger and kissed my lips roughly.
Everyone cheered and took photos. Out of the corner of my eye I
watched Alex one of Em's twins accidently bump into Atlas almost
knocking him on his ass. I didn't know who these boys were fooling but
I was pretty sure they were mates. They had to be, The boys always
honed in on that poor boy and they looked for any chance they could
get to touch him. Part of me wondered if anyone had noticed the
events, but chances were no. If any one would, it would be Quinn and
then he wouldn't say anything anyways.
