20 - Chapter Twenty - Emerald Victorian's Point Of View.
* The Next Day *
Lucca and I were laying in our bed, he was feeding Ariel. Alex and Benji
went to stay with Castel And Archer until we got the house sorted out. I
was about the text Quinn the photos of ariel when Kane's number
flashed up on my screen,
" Hey Kane, What's Up?"
* Quinn is having the baby, he wants you here.â
"1 will be there in twenty minutes tell him not to have that baby until
I'm there"
* Okay "
I ended the phone call and ran into our closet and grabbed my sweater
and shoes, Lucca already had Ariel in the car seat when I finished
pulling my shoes and sweater on. Lucca got the baby buckled into the
car and started to drive to Kane's, I was just buzzing about how our
little babies were only a day apart. I was talking a lot, I was super
surprised Lucca didn't tell me to be quiet.
We arrived at the Pack House Lucca had just got the car into park when
I jumped out, Lucca shot me the don't you dare ever do that again look.
Lucca closed his door and opened the backseat door and unbuckled
Ariel and handed the carrier to me, Ariel was fast asleep with his
soother in his mouth.
I arrived and then ran to Quinn's room, I went in, I handed our baby to
Kane and told him to hold our baby for a minute, Kane didn't have a
problem holding our baby for a moment.
I held Quinn's hand and told Lucca to wait outside with the doctor
because Kane was going to want to destroy the doctor as soon as he
saw the doctor touch, Quinn.
I held Quinn's hand with both my hands and the moment Kane saw the
doctor threw the window Lucca had to slam him against the wall and
hold him back, telling him to calm down because the doctor was just
helping Quinn.
"I hate you Kane, the moment I get out of here I'm going to castrate
you" Quinn screamed, the moment they started to cut into him. I
chuckled and continued to let him squeeze my hand for comfort.
The moment Quinn heard His babies cry, His eye lit up and he went
into mother bear mood, it was something that even I went through,
eventually, he would grow out of it and realize it was just fine. I rubbed
Quinn's hand softly. they cleaned the baby, stitched Quinn up and
handed the baby to him.
I let Kane in the side and left the room at the same time as the doctor.
Lucca was sitting on the ground rocking Ariel who had woken up and
wanted to be held and give attention. I opened the door and the Kane
let us in the room, Lucca was afraid that he would shift and hurt me,
Lucca haled me pretty close to him.
" What did you name him?" Lucca asked and I just smiled
" I was waiting for Kane to name him,â Quinn said a smile on his pained
face.
Kane's eyes light up and he walked over to Quinn placing their baby in
Quinn's arms and kissed his forehead before he sat down and decide
what he was going to name Their pup.
" Could we name him Atlas Logan Dawson?" Kane asked, looking at
everyone else in the room before looking back at Quinn.
Quinn looked into his babies eyes and spoke " Welcome to the world
Atlas"
Little Atlas had the brightest yellow eyes I had ever seen we so
gorgeous. Lucca and I hung around for a bit until I knew Quinn and
Kane needed time to bond over and with their new child.
