20 - Chapter Twenty - Siryn's Point Of View.

The clean up after the fight with rouges was huge. The pack doctor had

me on bed rest now, after giving birth to our son by myself I needed to

heal. Aside from explaining to Lucio in the best details, I could about

the male in the black robes with the pale green eyes that went black

when he saved their son, no one else knew. Lucio and I needed to find

out who and what that male was. The only thing he left was the cape

of the deepest black made of the softest silk. Thorn hadn't slept without

the thing.

I didn't know who to ask about the male other than my grandfather

who was on the council. My Father Leno and his father, my grandfather,

were on their ways here. I had asked for books on rare creatures. They

hadn't asked why after I told them I would explain when I got them

here. Thorn was clearly no part wolf but he still looked like Lucio. Right

now Thorn was with his father. I wished there was a way to contact the

male that did this so I could know all he did to Thorn.

I mean yeah I was way happier my baby wasn't dead, but at what cost?

My father and grandfather arrived a few hours later, both had a few

books with them. After I grabbed Thorn from Lucio I brought him to

the living room where we currently were and placed him in the playpen.

This was both my father and grandfather's first time seeing the baby.

He was just a week old.

"Have his eyes already changed back from yellow?"

"They were never yellow.”

"What?"

"No, they should have been..."

"He died at birth."

"I'm very clearly looking at an alive baby."

"A Male in black silk robes and I made a blood pact.”

Both my father and grandfather choked on their drinks.

"That was why you wanted the fucking books huh?" My father said

angrily

"Yeah."

"Did this male give you a name or a feeling or anything you can identify

him with?"

Thinking of the silk that was in the crib I went to grab it. Thorn would

want it anyways. bring the silk to the living room. I handed it to my

grandfather who looked at it. The male that gave this to me for Thorn,

his eyes and blood were black when he brought Thorn back to life.

"I have an idea about what this male was but until now they were really

only a myth."

My father flipped through a giant black leather book and stopped at

the end there was only one single page. The page top said they were

called The Skorwn. They were highly like gods and most of their powers

were unknown to wolves.

"What did you trade for Thorn's life?"

"His life."

"Excuse me?"

"His life, My son is mine until two days after his twenty-second year."

"Did he say anything about it after that?"

"No."

"Siryn I have no idea what to say. I mean I would do anything for my

children but fuck, you don't even know what you signed Thorn up for in

the future.”

"I know..."

"How do you even know this male will keep his word?"

“I don't."

"How will you explain this to him when he is old enough?"

"I don't know Ok! I was trying to save my fucking child, I didn't think of

what would happen after!”

Thorn started to scream from the playpen. I knew he wanted that

fucking silk. Grabbing the damn silk I stuffed it into the trash and he

screamed so much louder. Out of thin air, I watched as a new silk fell

into Thorn's playpen.

Sitting back at the table I picked up my tea and took a long sip. Neither

of them said a word either.

"I don't know about you two, but I am going to pretend I didn't see

that.”

"That might be best." My father said
