25- Twenty-Five - Felix's Point Of View.
A few weeks after finding out about my new live-in womb-mate ( the
Baby ) we were finally moving stuff into the new city. Dakota had
pushed himself to the point of just about dropping a few times and
refused to let me help at all. My job was to watch Wyatt and stay
relaxed. Diego was being hard on Leno. Dakota had forced them into
the same home. It had been my idea to help push them together.
They'd been fighting over the things that Diego thought Leno had that
were useless and shouldn't be moved over and leftover at the old
packhouse, which was being used as storage. All of the pack members
had agreed to move over to the new city. They all got there own homes
which they all were so grateful for.
I sat on the couch in the Alpha home watching Wyatt play with some
large plastic toys. I could hear Dakota yelling at Diego who was yelling
back. Both of them had little to no sleep and were cranky. I picked up
Wyatt who was far from happy I removed his from his toys. Dakota
walked threw the door with a yelling Diego and a bruised faced Leno
I cleared my throat and they all looked at me.
"No yelling there is a child present and what in Luna's name happened
to Leno's face?"
Leno spoke quietly.
"I thought bringing my collection of blankets from my mother was
important but clearly it wasn't, Diego grabbed the box and I pulled it
and he let go and wack.â
"Really. Hmmm."
I set Wyatt back with his toys and turned towards the disagreeing
couple.
"Listen and listen well. You are allowed to bring whatever you would
like into your home. Diego won't say another word about anything to
do with your stuff unless he wants to get in trouble, Furthermore, keep
up your shit Diego and you might be next to him in bed.â
Diego didn't hide he detest of that idea. He grabbed Leno by the jacket
and drug him back out into the cold. Dakota wrapped his arms around
me and spoke against my ear.
* Mmmm, I love it when you get all bossy."
"Is that all our stuff?"
"yes, the only thing not here is my desk, but I can wait for it. * Dakota
said chuckling.
I smiled at the thought of spending a bit more time with Dakota. He
played with Wyatt for a bit before he went to put some of our boxes of
things away. My father was offered to live with us and denied but
chose the house beside us. Dakota brought Wyatt to see my dad this
morning and he was so very happy with the little wolf. With Christmas
only three months away that meant the alpha summit would be soon
and I could attend with Dakota. The thought of seeing Fallon made me
excited. Fallon and I had kept in contact.
My stomach rolled alerting me to the coming release of my breakfast. I
mind linked Dakota to hurry and watch Wyatt because my wombie ( the
Baby) didn't like the breakfast we had anymore. I darted off to the
main floor bathroom and did my business. I didn't enjoy being
pregnant. It wasn't all glowing skin and tiny kicks. It was horrible
heartburn and 24-hour vomiting. Lord forbid when the tiny creature
learned how to move its legs. I smelt food the moment I left the
bathroom and my belly grumbled. My nose leads me towards the
kitchen where Dakota was feeding Wyatt chucks of chicken nuggets. I
saw two plates with chicken nuggets on the counter and I knew my
plate from Dakotas because it had expensively imported Ranch
dressing. My sweet desire.
I hunted the nuggets from the other side of the room like a starved
animal. Dakota tried not to laugh but eventually did which made the
little monster in his highchair laugh and giggle. I smiled as I shoved
ranch covered chicken into my mouth. Dakota pulled out his phone and
snapped a photo of me. I looked at him confused, chicken nugget
hanging out of my mouth.
"I'm taking photos for a thing I'm making," he said looking at the floor.
"Oh, really, I want to see when it's done of course,â I said, devouring
more nuggets.
