Even though she knew that it was impossible to bring about the first industrial revolution, she still chose the class Alchemic Engineer.

She wasn’t the type of player to enjoy training for levels, but instead enjoyed creating and crafting things in game.

The superb game engine of this game gave her a great surprise, but because of the MP restriction, her great plan was stopped before she could even do the first step.

But she didn’t give up!

Jiang Qiao saw this girl walk out of the guild, and followed behind her along with Ocean Blue.

The next experiment the girl set out to do was to pick up a bunch of pebbles on the roads of Lionheart City and place them at the side of the road.

Jiang Qiao knew what Xia Shan wanted to test out, which was whether players could build things in Lionheart City.

The answer was no, of course. After all, if players could pile up things randomly in the city, the city would be soon filled with unapproved construction projects.

Ten seconds after she piled up the stones on the side of the road, a bunch of light swallowed the pile of stones and it disappeared in a flash.

Xia Shan received a system notification.

[The City Cleaning Pixie has cleaned up the trash that you threw away.]

“I should have expected this…” Xia Shan saw it coming, so she wasn’t discouraged in the slightest as she picked up another large pile of pebbles and stones out of the city to the nearest monster spawning spot.

She piled another bunch of stones on the grass of the Slime Forest, but shortly after another system notification popped out again.

[The City Cleaning Pixie has cleaned up the trash that you threw away.]

“It doesn’t work in the wild neither?” Xia Shan sighed in disappointment.

Jiang Qiao couldn’t keep watching any longer, and immediately logged into his Elemental Summoner account nearby, acting as if he was just a passerby that was just happening by.

“Are you trying to build a pyramid?” Jiang Qiao asked as she piled up another bunch of stones and pebbles.

“I’m not. I was just testing whether we could build things in the wild.” Xia Shan replied without even looking back at Jiang Qiao.

“If we could build anything in the wild, this would probably become a tower defense game. I know a place where you can build a building though…”

“What place? Ah… Hello.”

Xia Shan finally reacted that it was a player talking with her, and as she turned around she was stunned by his extravagant equipment, especially the Fire Elves’ Prayer in his hand.

Jiang Qiao was already Level 28, and to Xia Shan who had only seen player levels in the single digits up till now, he was truly an elite.

“Where is this place that you speak of?”

Xia Shan asked Jiang Qiao politely out of habit due to the manners she had developed at work. The only time she could let herself go was probably when she was by herself, or when there were no materials to carry out her experiments.

“The manor.” Jiang Qiao pointed out another system that was important to subclass players. “The manor system has already been released in Lionheart City, and you can build whatever you want there. If you’re interested, I can bring you there?”

“That would be troubling you…You just have to give me the coordinates, and I’ll be able to go by myself.” Xia Shan was a little cautious of how welcoming Jiang Qiao was being to a stranger.

“The friend that I’ve asked to enter dungeons with me hasn’t come online yet, and I was just about to go to Lionheart to buy some items. No need to be so cautious, it’s not like I can kidnap you in game.” Jiang Qiao started talking awkwardly.

“That’s alright, I have a report button,” Xia Shan replied after thinking about it for a bit.

The reporting system wasn’t a function built into the game, but an in-game tool that Tiangong Game Platform has implemented, along with other tools such as chatting, recording, and screenshotting…

Sacred Souls had been uploaded onto the platform, so Jiang Qiao added these tools into the game too, so that the players could promote the game in between themselves and communicate.

“Shall we go then?” Jiang Qiao asked politely.

“Thank you!”

Xia Shan quickly followed Jiang Qiao’s footsteps back to Lionheart City, and they arrived at the flourishing heart of the city—the commercial street.

This could be the place that players frequented the most as most NPCs and shops were set up here, with the Class Guild at the end of the road and the manor entrance right at the entrance of the road.

The manor system could be seen as the players’ own ‘home’, and this area could be seen as one that players could design and customize themselves.

“Right here.” Jiang Qiao pointed at an empty space next to the commercial street.

“But there’s nothing here…Oh, there’s the notification.”

As Xia Shan stood in front of the clearing, an NPC in formal clothing appeared, wearing a top hat and a monocle, the image of a shrewd merchant.

“This is definitely the best land in Lionheart City! Are you in need of it, great sacred soul?”

A window popped out in front of Xia Shan with two options, the first being to explain more about the manor system, and the second being to buy a manor.

Xia Shan quickly pointed on the option for an explanation about the system.

‘The Manor is a special space that resides in Lionheart City. You will be able to obtain a key to open a transportation gate to your own manor after buying it.’

“Doesn’t it mean that I get to build a house for myself on this land?” Xia Shan had been expecting to buy a piece of land to allow players that passed by to be able to marvel at her superior building…

“Great sacred soul, your manor would be built on this land, yes. But! This is a special piece of land with a lot of independent spaces, and it can allow an infinite amount of sacred souls to build their manors here. But don’t worry, as long as your manor is outstanding enough it would still be shown to the public! Of course, you can make it so that you only see your manor, but other sacred souls won’t be able to see it,” said the NPC.

In conclusion, this land could be bought by every player, and those who buy their manor would be able to enter an independent space that was determined by the level of the manor.

The passerby would only be able to see the most outstanding manor on this land, but players could also set it so that they could see their own manor.

From the twenty-two square kilometers of plane fragments that Ocean Blue had consumed, more than half of those had been utilized by Jiang Qiao for this manor system.

“I like this setting!” Xia Shan’s soul of building started to burn brightly after hearing that she could compete with other players for the title of the best manor.

The multiple descriptions under the manor system had continued to make her excited, and in the area of the manor, players could build whatever they liked. The degree of freedom was so much that players could even carry the building blocks by themselves.

According to the different things built in the manor, several additional effects could also be added onto the player, and the one that Xia Shan had the most interest in was the effects on MP recovery!

Perhaps she wouldn’t be able to carry out her first industrial revolution anywhere else in the game, but she could do so in her own manor!

“Are you willing to buy?” The NPC asked.

She opened her currency page and just stared at it.
