Chapter 305 An Attack
The person sitting next to her was none other than Joe, who had appeared frequently recently.
Joe smiled faintly at Charlotte. âIâm just about to return to Albania. Itâs just a coincidence.â
Charlotte raised her eyebrows. There were countless flights back to Albania a day, but Joe just took the same one as her,
and the seat was next to hers. Nobody would believe such a coincidence.
Charlotte turned her head silently and raised the partition of the seat cabin. Out of sight, out of mind.
Fortunately, Joe knew that Charlotte didnât like him now, so he didnât do anything unnecessary.
The plane landed at the Atlanta International Airport at 3:30 p.m.
Charlotte called Mandy and refused her request to go upstairs to pick her up. Charlotte only asked her to wait in the
parking lot. She only brought a suitcase, which was inside the airport from the VIP exit to the parking lot. There was no
danger.
After walking for a short while, Charlotte noticed that someone had been following her. She turned back impatiently, âWhy
are you following me all the time?â
Joe looked innocent. âThereâs only one VIP passageâ¦â
Charlotte resisted the urge to roll her eyes. Why had she never known that Joe had such a shameless side?
Just as she was about to mock him, there was a sudden commotion in front of them. The crowd suddenly panicked.
Everyone fled in all directions in a panic and screamed in horror.
Joeâs expression suddenly became serious. He grabbed Charlotteâs wrist and protected her behind him. âGo!â
Charlotte also knew that it was not the time to care about anything else, so she quickly followed behind Joe.
Enter titleâ¦
After running a few steps, she subconsciously looked back and saw a few men rushing out of the crowd and slashing
wildly at the fleeing crowd with knives in their hands.
Behind them, the beige floor tiles were dyed red with blood, which was particularly dazzling. People fell into a pool of
blood, and it was unknown whether they were alive or dead.
Charlotteâs heart skipped a beat. She gritted her teeth and kicked away her high heels, running barefoot behind Joe.
As the sound of high heels disappeared, Joe looked back at her. His eyebrows twitched slightly, but he didnât say
anything. Instead, he sped up silently.
Just as the two of them were about to leave the VIP passage, a man with a knife suddenly rushed out from their left side.
His eyes were fierce. After walking around the crowd, he stared at Charlotte. Obviously, his next target was Charlotte.
Just as he was about to get close to Charlotte, Joe kicked him hard on the waist. The man felt the pain and slashed at Joe
with his blade.
Joe dodged nimbly, let go of Charlotteâs wrist, and raised his hand to chop her hand holding the knife.
The man was in so much pain, but he didnât throw away the knife in his hand. Instead, he took the opportunity to cut Joeâs
arm.
Seeing Joe take two steps back, the man gave a sinister smile. âI hate gigolos like you the most! Why should I work so
hard every day to only earn such a small amount while you live a comfortable life just since you were born?â
As he spoke, he swung his blade at Joe once more.
Joe reacted very quickly and kicked the man in the abdomen. The man staggered and was about to move when a heavy
blow came from behind him, and he fell to the ground.
Joe looked in the manâs direction in shock. Charlotte, who had just been released by him, found a fire extinguisher bottle
out of nowhere and knocked him out from behind.
âAre you right?â
As soon as Charlotte approached with the fire extinguisher, Joe looked at her with concern.
